A lot of old Red Pill terms are being tossed around the Manosphere by people with no idea as to what they are or how they came about. Today I'll discuss one term from The Rational Male I coined almost 10 years ago – The Alpha Widow.

Since the mid-80s there's been a growing trend among "empowered" women to retain their surname or hyphenate it with their husband's. I explore the latent purpose of this in today's episode.

Why do men feel an innate drive to protect and sacrifice themselves for women? In the Manosphere, a lot gets made of women's lack of maturity despite the entitlements to a high value man (Alpha). Yet men seem more than willing to accomodate women's demands and tolerate the behavior we'd expect from spoiled children.
