Ep #152 Awareness of Your Fears With Tyson Sharpe Author, Mindset and Emotional Coach, and Podcast Host
I got to speak with Tyson Sharpe. He is an author, mindset and emotional coach, and podcast host. If you’re like most business owners, you may find yourself looking to succeed, at some level, to feel ‘enough’ or ‘worthy’. This is what cuts off your well of creativity and passion necessary for success. It is Tyson’s mission to help business owners flip this perspective. He believes business owners must set the base of love, joy, and abundance within, so they feel driven to use the avenue of business to spread what they already feel inside.  In the last couple of years, Tyson has coached hundreds of online business owners, one on one, helping them resolve the internal conflicts holding them back. In doing so, he helps them execute their business strategy with clarity, creativity and passion, allowing for consistent and predictable growth. We spoke about: His journey to now.  Doubling down and going all in on online coaching. How he started his online coaching business. His  mindset shift that came through mediation daily and facing his darkness. 3:45 Coaching hundreds of entrepreneurs realizing that they are building their businesses from a place of fear.  Fear doesn't set the platform for a sustainable business. 5:24 As children we adopted beliefs in western civilization, like I need to be successful in order to feel enough, feel worthy, and feel loved.  Survival mechanism exists which says, if I'm not loved I won't survive. 6:06 We unconsciously feel like I need to succeed and do well to fill void within.  That says I need to be enough and feel worthy to survive from those that mean the most.  This is the platform where all fears come from. 7:01 Trying to succeed externally in order to fill internal void within themselves. Once you start seeing what it is, you can start building a more conscious  business from a place that's more of your higher self. 9:31 One thing people can actually do to combat that pattern is to actually feel it. 14:25 Start to feel your fears and create a safe space for them. 15:40 No fear can exist in a space it can be seen and understood.  All fear will continue and grow unconsciously in a space where you don't want it to be there. 19:47  It's not your job to move it on or do  anything with that emotion.  It's just your job to feel it, be there, and hold that safe space. 30:30 Taking leaps is scary to your mind, but aligned in your body. What motivates him. Weaknesses he's turned into strengths. Advice for the audience. And much more. Check out Tyson's 'Grow to Give' online workshop where because of your attendance, bowls of rice will be gifted to children saved from the streets and trafficking in Vietnam! Ep #149 From High School Dropout to Millionaire to Losing it All and Getting Back On Top Interview With Miha Matlievski Founder and Entrepreneur
I got to interview Miha Matlievski. From high school dropout, to millionaire, to losing it all in the recession, to contemplating suicide,   to picking himself up, building successful companies, and as The Fail Coach helping entrepreneurs all over the word. At just 18 years old, Miha Matlievski, a Slovenian high school dropout, dreamed of becoming a successful entrepreneur. And he pursued it with a passion, putting in 12 years of hard work that resulted in four successful businesses and a personal net worth of $15M.   But in December 2009, an unexpected call from his bank, which had decided to foreclose on his real estate investments, brought his world crashing down around him. That one negative event instigated an avalanche of ruin for him and his businesses, resulting in his four, once-successful companies going bankrupt. The then 30-year-old Miha couldn’t believe that he was now responsible for a collective debt of $5M. Such worries created a permanent state of anxiety that held Miha captive, he remembers. Though he says he did what he could to stay positive, nothing seemed to help. Embracing that previous failure, Miha began to climb out of his rut and take charge of his own life once again. In 2014, he created a new startup, generating eight figures in less than a year. Many publications in Slovenia approached him and his story went viral. Since Miha’s “resurrection,” he has been known as The Fail Coach. In that capacity, he helps entrepreneurs around the world embrace and have a healthy relationship with failure with the goal of reaching a higher level of success. We spoke about: His rise to millions from dropping out of highschool. Getting a sense of being untouchable when on top. His fall in losing it all in the recession including his marriage and friends as a result. Him contemplating suicide. Him coming back to create successful companies. How he became known as The Fail Coach. How he now helps entrepreneurs all over the world. What motivates him. Weaknesses he's turned into strengths. Advice he has for the audience. And much more. Ep #118 Interview With Leonardo Lightbourne Author, Activist and Speaker - Roman Prokopchuk's Digital Savage Experience
I got to interview Leonardo Lightbourne. L.T. Bourne is an author, activist and speaker from the Caribbean that writes about life as a man in a world dominated by men, raised by women. It's Not A Man's World: How I conquered the sins of my father paints a vivid picture of what life is like for a male growing up in a fatherless household. It’s the reflective process of one man’s journey to heal himself from his father’s rejection. It’s a story of love, loss, and insecurities as L.T. fights to become a man in a world that sometimes seemed intent on making him fail. As he reflects on his path and invites readers into his world, he squashes the notion of the ‘macho man’ persona by exposing the truth that there are males who are silently fighting through some of life’s most difficult challenges. L.T. encourages these males to become more vocal about their childhood experiences and vulnerabilities, as it is the only way they will be liberated from their pain.  As L.T. learns the importance of conquering his father’s sins, he realizes that it’s not a man’s world after all. We got to speak about: His journey to know. How he became who he is today. What motivates him. Weaknesses he may have had that he turned into strengths. Advice he has for the audience. And much more.
