But thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.
The Lord laid this burden on me to this today. And I am sure there's someone's cry of freedom, deliverance and victory that God is settling right now.
There's a gospel truth I want to pass on to you. What is it? There is no level of spiritual oppression and captivity that God cannot deliver us from. Even if all the demons, powers and principalities in the whole earth and in the heavenly places gather against you; only one word from the Lord will render them powerless. Who can stand to challenge the Almighty God? I stand on the supreme authority in the name of Jesus Christ, as recorded in Philippians 2:10-11
Right now, in the powerful name of Jesus I demand the release, deliverance and freedom of all those under the captivity and yoke of the devil. Every power oppressing your life is neutralized. By the power in the name of Jesus, I command every evil yoke and shackles of the enemy in your life to be break to pieces. Every witchcraft activity that is carried out against you, your business and your entire family in the night be destroyed in Jesus name. Amen.
Any man or woman that is using your glory to shine, may they and their mission be crippled in Jesus name. Amen.
Every altar that is delaying the manifestation of your destiny and purpose, may it catch fire now and burn to ashes in Jesus name. Amen.
May God contend with those who contend with you. And may He protect and guide you all the days of your life in Jesus name. Amen.

Authority for Dominion
See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”
Jeremiah 1:10
This is an extension of last week's message titled, "God Fights our Battles". God fights for us in various ways. He gives us authority for dominion. We have received divine authorization to root out unwanted weeds in our lives, to pull down walls of hindrances. To destroy evil altars and the works of the devil. To throw down the enemies of our destinies and purpose.
Haven done that, we are also empowered and authorized to build our fallen glory, to build our broken walls, our success, our health, our mansions, fortunes, and destinies.
We are mandated by God to plant spiritual seeds of righteousness, seeds of greatness, love, joy, peace, faith, harmony, prosperity, good health, longevity, etc.
I want to say this again in a clearer terms, there problems that God will never take out of us until we exercise our spiritual authority over them in prayers and declarations.
Every baptized believer, filled with the Holy Ghost is equally filled with divine authority for dominion. Child of God, you have what it takes to be free from demonic oppression. You have the divine authority to put to an end witchcraft activities that is ongoing in your life, family, work, business and relationship.
And Jesus said, to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:18-19
If you don't exercise your delegated authority, Satan will not fall like lightning from heaven. If you keep mute and expect God to just act, that long existed bondage will not destroyed. That financial stagnancy will not end if you don't exercise your divine mandate of dominion.
Arise and begin to command every evil agenda in your life, family, relationship and work to break to pieces. Let it break, let it break, let break in the mighty name of Jesus. Pray that every evil altar tormenting your life be destroyed in Jesus' Name. Amen. GOD FIGHTS OUR BATTLES
for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
Deuteronomy 20:4 NKJV
Praise God brethren, what a comforting assurance, what a good news to know that the Lord our God is He who goes with us, to fight for us against our enemies, to save us.’
Have you come to think or imagine how it would have been like, if the Lord does not fight for us?
This is exactly what David considered and exclaimed in Psalm 124 “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,” Let Israel now say— “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us; Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul; Then the swollen waters Would have gone over our soul.” Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
(Psalms 124:1-8 NKJV)
Those are the true words of a man and a warrior, who had seen and experienced the raw visible power of God move in action for children's deliverance. David fought many battles and triumphed by the help of God.

Our generation is faced with the fiercest battle ever experienced in the face of the earth. The ancients fought the same battle but the intensity, strategy and the rage in doubled in out time. Satan is now using anything readily available to fight us even our own possessions.
David declared— “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive.
Today not only men but also demons, principalities, powers witches, rulers of darkness, etc have risen up against us. There are so many things happening in our lives that we are seeking to know why they happen, but answers seem not to be coming up. The enemy has risen up against us. Most times we usually believe that our enemies are far off, not knowing that we eat, drink and chat with them. We work with them, we reveal our secrets to them believing they are our friends but use our ignorance against us. I am not saying that everyone around you or all your friends are your parasites. But you've got to open your eyes and watch out. May God open your eyes to recognize who your real enemies are because sometimes those we suspect might be innocent whereas those we exonerate are the real destroyers of our destinies.
But haven noted all these things, we have this to our advantage; " for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you

From today, by the mercy of
God, may the Lord God rise to your aid to give you victory against your enemies.
Every battle raging in your life right now, may you come out victorious I'm Jesus' name. Amen.
From today, may God begin to expose your destiny destroyers. May He chase away the unfriendly friends in your life.
Those who are killing you but pretend to be helping you, may God dispatch them from you. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God's Unlimited Ability [ Jeremiah 32:26-27] Nothing is too hard for God to do!
Jeremiah 32:26-27 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
The Lord began by introducing Himself as the "LORD", "the God of all mankind". And He asked Jeremiah. " Is anything too hard for me?".
Today, the Lord is not asking the prophet Jeremiah, "Is anything too hard for me?", He is asking you and I. What's your sincere answer? Yes or No?.
Why do we talk sometimes as if we longer trust God and acknowledge the fact that He can do all things?
Why do we limit God's ability by losing hope in adverse conditions. When things get too tough far beyond what we expected, we quickly 'throw in the towel' and conclude we can't conquer.
Do you realize that God does not show His might in a thin air? God's power is shown in times of crisis and tough challenges. Tougher the problem, the mightier He shows Himself.
Last Sunday, I handed a gospel tract to someone and he angrily collected it and exclaimed, " Where was God when they manipulated our votes". To such a brother, he has already lost hope in God's ability to change that situation. What about you?
So many believers today in Nigeria seem to have lost hope in God's ability to bring about His will for the nation. Have you forgot that no man can contend with God and still stand strong? Ask Pharaoh of the ancient Egypt and Nebuchadnezzar of the ancient Babylonian Kingdom they would confirm it.
Let God see it in you, let God feel it in your heartbeat that you trust in His ability to do all things irrespective of what your physical eyes are beholding right now. We must keep living by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7).
It was Jeremiah's praise and acknowledgement of God's unlimited ability to do all things that made the Lord to began to boastfully declare about Himself. (Jeremiah 32:17-23).
May our faith in God's unlimited ability stand tall and never fail
O God of all flesh, nothing absolutely is too hard for to do. Show yourself mighty and strong in our present national agony. Let good triumph over evil. And let righteousness swallow wickedness. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God's Infallible Word! [ Joshua 6:26] Daily Bible Verses Devotional
Joshua 6:26 After the Lord God gave the city of Jericho into the hands of Joshua and the people of Israel, Joshua pronounced a curse on the city: “Cursed before the Lord be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. At the cost of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates”.
Joshua the servant of God, after the conquest of Jericho, pronounced a cures on anyone who would rebuild Jericho. He didn't say that Jericho must not be rebuilt. But whoever would undertake the rebuilding of the city will have to lose his first born son and last born son.
The reason for this consequence wasn't textually disclosed, but I think it is pointing to the fact God demanded that "the city (Jericho) and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent"
After about 500 years, this happened;
In Ahab’s time, Hiel of Bethel rebuilt Jericho. He laid its foundations at the cost of his firstborn son Abiram, and he set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son Segub, in accordance with the word of the Lord spoken by Joshua son of Nun.
1 Kings 16:34 NIV.
This would give us the clearer meaning of Isaiah 55:11 And it reads;
"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

God's word once spoken becomes alive and active waiting to achieve the purpose for which it has been released. The Word of God spoken by Joshua centuries back lingered until it came to pass.
Can you identify one or two things the Lord has said concerning you? You may forget it, but when it is time, it will manifest. God's Word can never prove false.
It might take some time, but it will come to pass.
O Lord my Father, your word is alive and active, fulfilling the purpose for which it is sent. Let the word you spoke concerning me be fulfilled in my life. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Praying for a Free & Fair Elections in Nigeria [Proverbs 29:2]
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan
It requires only a righteous, honest and Godfearing leader for the people to rejoice. Show me a joyful and peaceful nation, and I will show you a good, honest, competent and Godfearing leader.
Groaning, insecurity, kidnapping, corruption, poverty, hunger, excessive inflation, lack of basic amenities, all political unrest and vices are as a result of bad leadership and governance.
The Choosing of a Leader
Once upon a time, in the land of the ancient Israel, the people gathered to make Rehoboam king of Judah, after his father Solomon.
On the appointed day he was to disclose his manifesto to the elders and the citizens, all Israel assembled at Shechem. And he rolled out his campaign premises according to the advice of the young men he consulted. And said, “My father made your yoke heavy; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions."
(1 Kings 12:14 NIV). After hearing what he has in store for them, the people responded, “What share do we have in David, what part in Jesse’s son? To your tents, Israel! Look after your own house, David!” So the Israelites went home.
(1 Kings 12:16 NIV).
We have listened attentively to the three major presidential candidates of the forthcoming Nigeria presidential election on what they have to offer us. And I'm sure by now you know those in whom we, as citizens, have no share. Like Rehoboam, these ones do not have our interest at heart. Their real agenda is to use to get what they want. These are the ones, you will use your votes to send back to go and look after their own house.
Let's make special demand from heaven. Ask the Lord to frustrate, disappoint and expose every hired ballot box snatcher, come Saturday elections in Jesus name. Like Rehoboam, they will not succeed. Like Pharaoh's army they will not escape the sea of shame and disgrace. In Jesus name. Amen.

Praying for a Free & Fair Elections in Nigeria [ Proverbs 28:28]
Proverbs 28:28 When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive. NIV
Brethren, I want to clearly put it to you, what you already know about our nation Nigeria. We are under the reign of a wicked government.
We Nigerians are going into hiding because the wicked is in power. Insecurity has driven us into hiding. Kidnapping has driven us into hiding. Killing and injustice have driven us into hiding. We are constantly hiding in our own fatherland because the wicked is in power. The poor and less privileged are inconsolably weeping day and night because the wicked is in power
And the Scripture says

This suggests that the Righteous will not succeed, prosper or have peace except the wicked perishes.
We are not going to ask God to kill anybody. And we are not going to plead with God to spare any wicked ruler. Revelation 3:13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.
I wish I'm directly speaking to a believer who is presently facing some kind of persecution. Do you know the first thing I want you to keep in mind? The Lord knows you, He knows where you live, He knows the pain you are going through right now. He knows how much you have sacrificed, and have continued to sacrifice by bringing glory to His Name by His grace given to you.
Have you come to think what it feels like when the Lord is commending you, saying things like; "Despite you live where Satan builds
His throne, despite all what you've gone through, the torture, trials, abuses, denials, imprisonment, separation, starvation, false accusations, ostracism, hunger, discomfort and so on, you have not denied your faith in me".

“We were working in the fields of our farm when armed men approached us. They kidnapped three of us. They later killed my two friends. I am the only one living.”AGNES, A SURVIVOR OF ABDUCTION BY BOKO HARAM
What’s life like for Christians in Nigeria?
Agnes was only a teenager when Boko Haram kidnapped her. Life in the camp was horrific. “They forced us to work hard for them,” Agnes remembers. “They kept pushing us to denounce Christ. I was given to a woman who was married to one of the fighters. In secret, the woman was still a Christian. She told me to fake it. That if these people forced me to denounce Christ, I should say yes, but deep down within me I should hold on to Christ.”
You might not blame Agnes if she had questioned where God was through her ordeal. But despite the horror, she found herself recalling over and over a song her father taught her and her siblings.
“When my siblings and I grew up, we were sometimes very worried that people would attack us,” she says. “At those moments, my dad sang this song to us: ‘God will never forsake us. God will never abandon us. Even when there is suffering and persecution, God will never leave us.’”
Agnes eventually escaped the camp after two years, but coming home was not easy. Thankfully, Open Doors partners have been supporting her with trauma counselling, and they are helping to end the stigma that surrounds young women who’ve suffered like Agnes.

Hebrews 13:3 Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
What is persecution?

It can't be eliminated. But with prayers and intercession, it would yield positive fruit. It would be a means through which souls are won to Christ.

Praying for Suffering Widows [Luke 7:12-13]
Luke 7:11-13 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
The agony of this widow was so excruciating that her weeping and affliction attracted a large crowd sympathizers from her city.

Interceding for the Afflicted [ Isaiah 53:5 ]
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
We want stand in the gap for the sick. There so many people are bedridden for a very long time. Some patients have been told by their doctors that there sickness has no cure and they don't know what else to do to make well. Still some others patients have been given a date they would pass on.
Passionately ask God to have mercy and healing on every sick person that hope for a healing from the Lord.
We pray for divine intervention for those whose health condition has defiled all medications, may the healing wounds of Jesus make whole in Jesus name. Amen.
All those held in infirmities, plagues, terminal diseases, cancer, kidney failure and all manner health afflictions by evil men and women, we declare them delivered and healed in Jesus name. Amen.

God presides over the kingdoms and nations of the earth, including their leaders and rulers. Any nation that dishonors and despises the grace of God upon it, He withdraws His divine shield from it. He brings to naught any nation that prides itself in wickedness and evil like Nigeria. But with a consistent cry for mercy and humble intercession, God will hear us from His dwelling place and make our country a home for all of us again.
Pray that God will have mercy on us as a nation and forgive us our sins, in Jesus' name.
Pray that God will separate and sweep out of power all the ungodly and wicked leaders of our nation.

1) prayerfully present your plans to God and ask Him for the grace to execute and actualize them
2) make sure your plans do not oppose the will of God nor pose danger to human life.
3) your plans should revolve on things that will bring glory God and blessings to humanity.
4) stay flexible and open to divine direction as to effect change when need be.

Leviticus 10:2 [ The Presence of the Lord]
Leviticus 10:2 So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.
This verse is actually referring to the sons of Aaron who offered unauthorized fire before the Lord. We can see the manifest presence of God in action right here. Fire is actually one of the numerous ways God manifests His presence (Psalm 97:4).
Whenever we appear before the presence of the Lord, let's be conscious of the fact that God is there with us anything can be possible. Healing can take place, deliverance and freedom can received.
Father, thank you for the power of your presence. May the fire of your presence consume my pain, afflictions weaknessess in Jesus' name. Amen.
This verse is actually referring to the sons of Aaron who offered unauthorized fire before the Lord. We can see the manifest presence of God in action right here. Fire is actually one of the numerous ways God manifests His presence (Psalm 97:4).
Whenever we appear before the presence of the Lord, let's be conscious of the fact that God is there with us anything can be possible. Healing can take place, deliverance and freedom can received.

God Cares for you ] [ Luke 12:7
Luke 12:7
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
The Lord is talking to you, do you hear what He says? He has numbered the hairs on your head, no one will fall off without His consent. This means that God is constantly and actively watching over your life and all that concerns you. If your Father actively watches over sparrows and other creatures by taking care of them, how much more do you think He will care for you? Hear what He says, "Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
(Matthew 10:31 NKJV). You are of more value to God than anything else. You're God's number 1 project; every other thing is secondary. Therefore do not be afraid, your Father is actively taking care of you. He's cooking something for your satisfaction.
Let your trust in Him replace your fears of the unknown for He knows it all.

"Whoever Believes" Part 2 [ John 3:16-17]
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
When the Scripture talks about "whoever believes" it actually talking about accepting Christ as one's only Lord and Saviour. But the real meaning is still far beyond this level. The word, "Whoever believes" is all encompassing as far as our salvation race is concerned. Believing is the very first step of having eternal life. That is level of being born again (having the new of Christ in you). Then begins the journey of abiding in Christ and walking in His footsteps.
O Lord my Saviour, help to always abide in you, live by your word and to walk in your footsteps. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Eternal Life [ John 3:14-15]

The gift of eternal life (continued life after death) through Christ Jesus, is a second chance offer from God, to reinstate us in His original plan of everlasting life rather perpetual death. The condition for Adam to live forever was to avoid eating the forbidden fruit, but he missed it. Our own condition to obtain eternal life is to believe in Jesus and live according to God's will. We have believed in Jesus! Are we in conformity with God's will and standards? Or are we missing it like Adam missed it?
My Father and my Helper, help me to live in conformity with your will and standard in Jesus' name. Amen.

By this the Lord is saying that you're planted in midst of abundance, you will not lack anything good, in times of scarcity and lack you will have plenty. When others are scrambling for survival, you will find succor in His secret place. You are blessed in all ramifications, we declare this week, a week of blessedness and fruitfulness in all your endeavors. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Though it Linger, Wait for it!
Habakkuk 2:3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
Fulfilment of God's promises doesn't come late. It comes to at the right time. The most dangerous time in waiting on God's promises, is that point when one has finally made up his/ her to give up on God. It is actually when the tides turn.
Hear this, if you come to a point in your life, when you finally decide to do otherwise because every effort proves abortive; please consider holding on a little while. its a powerful sign that the morning of joy is about to dawn. There's always this pressure to end it all, when the few steps ahead is actually for the testimony. Hold on! Don't give up! The appointed time is here.
Father, I hold on to your word which says, "Those who hope in God will not be disappointed. Thank you LORD for setting the infallible time of my favour. In Jesus' name. Amen.

At the Time set by God [ Genesis 21:1-2]
And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
"The LORD visited Sarah as He had said". "The LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken". And "at the set time"... If this was true of Sarah, after waiting on God for several years, I see it becoming true for you too as you have been waiting on God for many years for a particular need. The LORD visited Sarah as He said, may He visit you as He promised in His Word. The LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken, may He do for you as He had said. May your faith remain strong till He visits you. May you never miss the set time of God for your blessings in Jesus name. Amen.

God's Appointed Time Psalm 75:2
Psalms 75:1-2 “When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly (NKJV).
This might come as a surprise to some persons to hear that God attaches time and seasons to His will and promises. He says, " When I choose the proper time, I will judge rightly". The word, "I will judge rightly" means He will do the needful. Right from creation, God demonstrated the principles of times and seasons (Gen.1:14). When He created the heavens and the earth, He didn't do it in a twinkling of an eye. God Created everything day by day. You would in Gen. 1:1-26. "And there was morning and there was evening (NIV) That's timing. Everything on earth is fixed, works, rises and falls on God's divine timing. Things happen at Gods' chosen time.
O Lord, my Maker, grant me an understanding of the mysteries of your appointed time. In Jesus' name. Amen.
