Mindset: The Guy Podcast Ronnie Fernandez, LCSW

By Ronnie Fernandez, LCSW

Individual interviews of Men discussing some of their life's specific challenges telling us how they were able to overcome big, small, and everyday challenges. These challenges can often lead men into Anxiety or Depression.

My goal with this podcast is to help men better express their feelings and frustrations by listening to different men. Much too often men hold their feelings in and isolate themselves, drink too much, or show aggression. I hope you enjoy listening to these incredible men and their stories.

Father-con 2019

November 9, 2019 9:00 am to 3:00pm

@Warren High School

8141 De Palma St. Downey, CA 90241

Father-Con is a call to fathers, future fathers and father figures - to celebrate the significance of being a father, recognize the consequences of failing to be the father our children and community need us to be, and become aware of the very real dangers of human trafficking and predators that take advantage of any vulnerability our children may have due to absent, disengaged or abusive fathers and father figures in the home.  Fathers are key to ending human trafficking - as fathers take to heart the awesome power they have to protect, to provide wise example, and to ensure each child is nourished by his love to form an identity that is impregnable to those who seek to exploit.  We have an annual conference/conversation to provide information and resources to help fathers rise to the challenges and find the greatest fulfillment in being dedicated dads.
