Paris, France is the city of love but are French men really the most romantic? In the final installment of the 2024 Month of Love series, the girls of Suite 15 are putting this question to the test with Paris-born bachelor, Julien Robic. Julien has come to the suite to share a guy's perspective on dating in the modern world, while simultaneously being tested on how good his dating profile is. From dating differently depending on the country one lives in, to finding love on the apps and/or dating in the wild, Julien is here to share his Parisian insight. Maybe there is hope for us after all.
love gems with Jade
This week, the girls eagerly welcome Jade Zaroff, an award-winning Creative Producer, iHeartMedia Voiceover talent, actress, and the founder of Entertainment for Change, to the suite to share her insights on love and dating. After dating heavily for six years, Jade found her perfect match in her partner, Jordan Cohen, a musician who recently toured with the Jonas Brothers. The girls had to get her advice on navigating the brutal NYC dating scene and dare they say, she gave them better advice than the Sprinkle Sprinkle lady herself. Together, Jade and the girls reframe the purpose of dating, choosing to view it as an exciting journey of self-discovery. Join us as we continue to go deeper into our captivating love series for the month.

amour + more (i hope he's not listening)
February is the month of love, or so the girls of Suite 15 have decided. Kickstarting a month of romance-related episodes, the girls take some time to dive into what love means to them. From speaking about past dalliances of love who shall not be named, to discussing their hopes and fears of what love has in store for them in the future, Annmarie and Chanel are baring it all. Are they wearing their hearts on their sleeves or putting their feet in their mouth? Who knows, but they do say that all is fair in love and war 🌹
An Open Dialogue on Palestine + Israel with Roots [FULL]
For decades, the enduring tension between Israelis and Palestinians has sparked global discourse. Recently, conflict in the Middle East has been on the minds of many due to the 2023 Israel-Hamas war. Joined by Noor Awad, a Palestinian, and Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger, an Israeli Rabbi, from Roots, a grassroots movement fostering understanding, nonviolence, and transformation amongst Israelis and Palestinians, we tackled long-debated questions about history, religion, and current events in the region. In addition, we learned about Roots's mission to connect Israelis and Palestinians via community-building initiatives as a means of fostering long-term peace.

So, the girls have gathered to bid farewell to the year, subsequently creating their own version of Dickens's "A Christmas Carol." Join them as they weave through Christmas memories of the past, while contemplating future traditions and reflecting on their feelings about the present. Although not everything is as joyful as they desire, their discussion reminds them to cherish the present and hope for a brighter tomorrow. manifesting with Chloé Caroline
The girls are talking all things manifesting, female empowerment, and the music industry when singer-songwriter Chloé Caroline stops by the Suite. While chatting about Chloé's latest single, "Manifest," the conversation drifts off into familiar territory: the trials and tribulations of catching feelings for a boy. Naturally, this segues into a discussion about each of the girls' personal journeys when manifesting the life, and relationship, of their dreams. Acknowledging that things might not always unfold as planned, the girls realize that in the end, everything falls into place when they embrace the power of surrender.

body. soul. toxins.
The girls welcome Mohammed Widdi, the visionary behind Soul Detox, a spiritual medspa in Brooklyn, New York, to Suite 15 to discuss the intersection of health and spiritual wellness. Recognized by Shondaland for its practice of wet cupping or hijama, Annmarie visited Soul Detox to give the experience a try. The girls also discuss dry cupping and toxin pulling, dispelling misconceptions surrounding holistic practices like these. This episode sheds light on societal notions of self-care, emphasizing it as a necessity, rather than a luxury.
more color more friendship | part 2
One episode was just not enough to cover what happened in South Africa. The girls are back with even more insights and wild stories. While they center themselves, the girls explore ways to maintain the friendships they forged abroad. They also delve into essential dos and don'ts when navigating romantic escapades and international connections. Friendships enrich your life, but they demand a lot of effort so one has to choose whether to nurture or let go.
the color of friendship
Over the summer, Annmarie and Chanel embarked on a journey to South Africa that sparked profound realizations about race relations and their friendship. Through memorable interactions with locals and candid conversations with one another, the girls of Suite 15 explored the intricate dynamics of race, friendship, and personal bias based on one's lived experiences. This episode is one of their most unfiltered conversations, as they attempt to unravel how the concept of race uniquely influences each of their lives. Through this exploration, they discover that the world is far more nuanced than a simple black-and-white perspective suggests.
living with lupus
The girls of Suite 15 gather with Yasmine Shakur, MPH, for a thoughtful conversation addressing chronic health issues while proposing critical healthcare system enhancements in the United States and discussing the repercussions of inadequate education on marginalized care. Yasmine shares her personal journey with Lupus, offering valuable insights for those navigating chronic illnesses and/or supporting loved ones in similar situations, all while emphasizing the importance of being heard.
you've got to be on your zoom
Change and self-growth are exciting, but they're even better when your friends and family are there cheering you on. The girls of Suite 15 have invited their closet people to Brooklyn to celebrate their return to the mic after a quasi-hiatus. Join Anita Tunduwani, Christine Gajdos, Fabian Doris, Paris Papadatos, and Kayla Cummings as they catch up and challenge each other to continue on a journey of elevation together. This group is making sure to stay on their ZOOM. (DISCLAIMER: Suite 15 is not sponsored by Zoom, but it would be nice if they were.)
the girls are back
Step Into: where u been?
Well, it might be a new year, but it's still the same old us. The girls of Room 3228 are back to wrap up 2021 with a bow. They're shrugging off all of the negativity and steering clear of the road blocks from 2021 in order to make 2022 the best year yet.
The past year was full of adventures and new moves on all fronts, so it’s time to reflect on all of the lessons that the girls were forced to learn. The good, the bad, and yes the ugly too (trust us, it got real ugly sometimes). If you weren't there for the ride, you truly missed out.
This is your time to catch up with your favorite besties because they're taking off their training wheels. They scraped their knees and broke their nails, but no matter how many times they fell, they always got back up, just so that they could chat about their experiences with all of you. So, sit back, grab a glass of wine and listen, laugh, and cry as the girls of Room 3228 dive into Season 3.
Step Into: Women Who Run the World
Who run the world? GIRLS! Although, women's history month was in March, the girls of Room 3228 believe that women should be celebrated all year long. So they sat down with representatives from Global Girlhood, a global community of women and gender-expansive folks that inspires storytelling and fosters connections, about how they aim to revolutionize representation in media, education, and leadership.
Guests Radhika Kalani, a product owner at the Blackstone Group and the Director of Outreach for Global Girlhood, and Grace Schleck, a LGBTQIA+ advocate and the Director of Operations for Global Girlhood, talk about their perception of feminism and how to make this movement more inclusive. They discuss the importance of women stepping into their power, while also sharing their aspirations for women in the future.
Step Into: Adulting 101
The girls of Room 3228 have come to discover that adulting is hard. But talking about it makes it so much easier. Join them as they chat about some of the confusing parts of being an adult. We're talking taxes, budgeting, healthcare, and SEX (gotta keep it spicy).
This episode is a mess but so is life; sometimes you just gotta go with the flow.
Step Into: When Josh Met Roshen
2021 is finally here and the girls of Room 3228 did not come to play! They’re starting the year with an episode full of laughs, roasts, and music recommendations. Get ready because it’s time for a girls and guys tell-all.
It was music to the girls’ ears when they heard that former guest and musician Joshua Castillo, as well as his good friend and music extraordinaire Roshen Varughese, would join the girls to talk about their music-inspired bromance. The episode wouldn’t be complete without the girls asking their guests some burning questions about men, masculinity, and bro codes. Needless to say, this chat ended on a high note!
Step Into: Modern Love
Grab a glass of wine and your favorite pals because this episode is for all the crazy besties out there. You’ll need to buckle up because the girls of Room 3228 are exploring their views on a modern type of love: platonic relationships. And they’re not holding ANYTHING back.
A lot has changed since the last time the girls sat down and discussed what friendship means to them. This time around, they’re chatting about some rough spots in their friendship with one another, as well as how their romantic relationships compare to their platonic ones. No stone is left unturned as the girls analyze how and why they make friends, while daring to ask themselves: Am I a good friend?
Step Into: Identity CRYsis
Pour a little bit of identity crisis into this week’s tea! On this episode, the girls bring IT specialist and artist extraordinaire Abil Abraham all the way from Astoria to talk about his Indian-American heritage. They discuss what components of their identity are the most significant to them and how their identities have changed over time, as well as how they define themselves as New Yorkers and as Americans.
The girls and their hipster guest ask questions that most people are too scared to face in the hopes of discovering their true selves: What does it mean to be stateless? To feel represented in the national narrative? To be both an immigrant and an American? Follow the girls down another rabbit hole and be prepared to ask yourself: who ART thou? This episode is full of Zoom mishaps and tears, but it’s definitely a masterpiece.
Step Into: InsecuriTEA
This week the Girls of Room 3228 are digging deep. They're putting all their cards on the table, flaws and all. Join them as they discuss their deepest darkest physical and emotional insecurities.
The girls do some profound thinking in order to trace the origins of their insecurities. They also discuss how society impacted the way that they view themselves and discuss their thoughts on therapy. What starts out as a productive conversation quickly turns into a love fest, with each of the girls sharing the little quirks they love about each other and coming to the understanding that flaws are what make each of them uniquely beautiful.
We've all got flaws; let's talk about them! How do you work past your insecurities and practice self-love? What's your favorite thing about yourself? These are the questions we're ready to discuss with you. So grab a tissue, a friend, or a diary as we serve you a healthy dose of insecuriTEA.
Step Into: Extra! Extra! Post All About It!
News never sleeps and neither do we! (Seriously, the WFH lifestyle has really messed with our sleep schedules and our consumption of social media.) Nevertheless, before we get into the nitty gritty of opinion-based battles, it’s time to check our sources. Luckily, we’re joined by resident “baby journalist” Morgan Mullings, a Report for America Corps member and staff reporter for the Bay State Banner, for an on the record chat about fake news in the age of social media reporting. Join us for a fascinating discussion about why Morgan chose to pursue a career in journalism and her take on why local newspapers are critical sources of information. We also discuss distrust of mass media and how social media has changed the landscape of journalism. So, grab your newspaper or pull up your Twitter account as we dive into some breaking news stories, and even a few conspiracy theories, on this week’s episode.
Step Into: The Room Where It Happened
Your favorite girls are back where it all began, Room 3228. It’s been more than a year since you last heard their wild stories and they have so much to catch you up on. They’ve survived distance, new relationships, senior year of college, and even a global pandemic just to make it back to you.
Hear the girls recount what they’ve been up to since last spring, as well as their plans for 2020 and what they have in store for the rest of the season. It’s been a crazy few months, but nothing will prepare you for what’s going down on the podcast this summer. Growing up is hard, but at least you get to experience life’s ups and downs with your new best friends: US!
Step Into: Lost in Translation
This week, the girls of Room 3228 are dishing about the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of long distance relationships. Joined by video-gaming and relationship expert Nikos Stragalis, the girls ponder whether or not they have what it takes to go the distance. Be prepared for conversations about language barriers, defining the relationship, and of course, phone sex. You better buckle up because this is one crazy episode.
Step Into: Delays on the 6 Train
Hop around Manhattan like a true New Yorker with the girls of Room 3228. They're taking you stop by stop to discuss their crazy commuting stories. After years of navigating the New York streets and tunnels, you would think that they have it all together. Unfortunately, they DEFINITELY do not. You never know what rude awakening awaits you on the subway while traveling from different boroughs to meet at the heart of Manhattan. Listen to this week's episode for advice about being a commuter student, the do's and don'ts of big city living, and how to get the best out of the Big Apple even if you're delayed on the local 6 train!
Step Into: The Battle of (Interracial) Couples
There's nothing more difficult than working with couples but the girls of Room 3328 decided to take on the challenge to bring you an episode overloaded with adorable antics and couple drama. They're joined by singer/songwriter Peter Kim, Baruch President Radhika Kalani, International Student Organization President Richard Rudman to talk about their experiences in interracial relationships. The group explores their experiences with culture shock, the struggles they face in society, meeting their significant other's families, and their own cultural values in Room 3228. They also put their knowledge of their partners to the test with a risque couple's trivia battle. These lovebirds are ready to sing so don't miss out on their spicy episode.
Step Into: Circumstantial Friends
Life has the girls of room 3228 stressed af. Their brains are all over the place and so is this episode. Listen as they take you through the struggles of uncertainty about life after college, not being able to ride a bike, and their thoughts on circumstantial friends. They jump into a discussion about friendship, diving into their experiences with circumstantial friends, as well as how to decipher if you have one or are one. They also examine their own friendships and of course, there will be some tea to sip!
