SHEAR FEST SET FOR MOUNTBELLEW
One of the biggest events in the region this year will be the Shear Fest in Mountbellew on Saturday and Sunday. Up to 20,000 people are expected over the two days. Seamus Duke has been chatting to the organising committee about the weekend.

NEW WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE BIKE IS LAUNCHED IN ROSCOMMON
A bike which can take a wheelchair on the front was launched on Monday at The Square in Roscommon Town. It's an initiative from the Lions Club, Access for All and the Roscommon Sports Partnership. One of the prime movers behind the idea was local Councillor Kathleen Shanagher and she spoke to Seamus Duke at the launch.
