In this episode of the Rotman Podcast, our hosts are joined by Professor Dilip Soman, Director of the Behavioural Economics in the Action Research Centre at Rotman. Madeleine Cohen is the VP of Corporate Planning & Investor Relations at Boat Rocker Media, with tremendous experience in full business life cycle management. We also had the opportunity to chat about her Rotman story, and how the Rotman Executive MBA program helped Madeleine in her career.

Rotman alumni Alex Lee joins us for our first edition of Alternate Paths from Rotman, a Rotman Podcast mini-series on less traditional MBA career paths from Rotman. With many Rotman students pursuing Finance or Consulting, Rotman Podcast wants to explore a growing interest in different MBA career opportunities, especially in the Entertainment and Media Industry. Alex Lee is a Product Owner at CBC, harnessing information from Canadians to serve them better digitally. By leveraging data science and his business design experience, Alex was a major part of the CBC's success in doubling their online reach to an audience of 20 million. Like Rotman Podcast Host, Erin Tsutsumoto, Alex also happens to be a former President of Rotman's Business Design Club. The fearless President of the Class of 2020's Entertainment and Media Association, Kevin Yoon joins us for a chat about his experience expanding the role of EMA at Rotman, discovering a career path as a musician and his plans for life after Rotman. Kevin Yoon's role in expanding the size of Rotman's EMA helped rebrand Rotman as a more career-diverse MBA program, facilitating a pipeline between Rotman and Toronto's media industry. His experience working as a Pianist and Educator before Rotman offer a unique background for his successful pivot into strategy and leadership at Simplii Financial. As one of Rotman's most inspiring students of the Class of 2020, Rotman Podcast is offering a look into his Rotman experience and life after his MBA.
