Everyday Mission, Week 1: Made for Mission
This Sunday, we kickoff our new series, Everyday Mission. Wherever we are, whatever we might be doing, at any given time of the day, as Christ-followers, we believe that we are made for mission by God. This means that any moment can become a mission moment where we make a difference in the world around us. In the Old Testament, Noah was a guy who also made a difference with his life. And while Noah is certainly known for building an ark, from his life we can learn important principles that'll help us to be faithful in impacting the world in which God has placed us. Psalms, Week 8: Navigating the Winning Season
Psalms, Week 8: Navigating the Winning Season
Do you find it harder to depend on, worship and honor God when life is good? It's a serious question. Often, we allow God's blessings, His comfort, and an overall easiness of life to draw us away from Him. Our flesh fools us into thinking we don't need Him. This Sunday, we'll conclude our sermon series as Pastor Mark preaches on "Navigating the Winning Season".  "I will sing a new song to You, my God; on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to You, to the One who gives victory to kings, who delivers His servant David". In our sermon series on the Old Testament book of Psalms, I will look at how God lovingly offers you His strength when "Navigating the Grieving Season". No matter what the cause of your loss or broken heart may be, God will provide the comfort and help that you need. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're watching the seasons change right before our eyes. We also go through various seasons of life - difficult, doubting, and even "spiritually dry seasons". Ths season is not a season of disbelief. This Sunday, Pastor Dave will help us identify potential causes and reasons for our "dry seasons", and he'll help lead us to spiritual disciplines that will refresh us.  October 16, 2022

Embracing Forgiveness, Week 5: Livin' Forgiven
Here's the stark reality - you and those around you are dying from sinfulness. But here's the good news - Jesus has given you the greatest gift of all - forgiveness! So, why do we sometimes wrestle with forgiveness? God calls us to receive His forgiveness, to forgive ourselves, and to offer forgiveness to others. This week Pastor Dave will use what we've covered so far to help us unpack what it looks like to be "Livin' Forgiven". We will see how God replaces our doubt, guilt, grudges, regrets, and fears with security, grace, freedom, hope, and courage... and that changes everything!

Embracing Forgiveness, Week 3: How Do I Forgive Others?
Sin will always exist in our world, and we will always need to forgive people who hurt and wound us. Considering just how much God has already forgiven us in Christ, we are called to release these individuals and, if possible, reconcile with them. That, however, can be difficult. Thankfully, as we continue in the series "Embracing Forgiveness", we will find that God's Word provides us with the guidance we need to forgive others, just as He has forgiven us. August 21, 2022

While Lent has a solemn nature to it, it is designed to remind us of our sin and mortality. Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent.  March 2, 2022

The Book Of Proverbs Week 8: Making My Words Fool Proof
The Book Of Proverbs Week 8: Making My Words Fool Proof
When are words more than words? God says, "always." There are more than 1,700 instances in the Bible where God gives instructions for our speech and the way we use words. We can say there are few things that God takes more seriously than words, His Word, our words. This Sunday as we are concluding our sermon series, "Proverbs: Wisdom to Fool-proof Your Life," Pastor Rein will look at God's way to make our words fool-proof. February 27, 2022

Renewed
Renewed
There are certain days and seasons that lead us to making a fresh start…to hit the reset button on the past: like a wedding day, new job, new home. New Years is a good time to hit the reset button, get a fresh start, make needed adjustments. This week we will look at ways for us to “be in sync” with God’s plans for us. It begins with hitting the reset button on our past…looking forward to God’s promise to never leave you…and then living in the present. We stay in sync with the Lord by giving Him thanks throughout the day, praying to Him regularly, being in His Word often, being active in His Church, and then using your gifts, abilities, and situations to Glorify Him! Christmas Eve Service, The Name Week 5: Emmanuel
On that first Christmas, the Son of God came to this earth and became our Emmanuel, a name that declares His proximity because He is literally "God with us." The good news behind God leaving the glory and majesty of heaven for the dirt and dust of the stables is that the miracles of Christmas continues today. We can rejoice that Jesus is still our Emmanuel. He is still "God with us." December 24, 2021

Isaiah identified the coming Messiah as our Everlasting Father. Today, some people have bad memories of their earthly father which can often lead to misconceptions about the Lord as their Everlasting Father. But, as the promised Savior, Jesus quickly removed those false views by demonstrating love "fatherly" character traits and by being "faither-like" in His gracious treatment toward all people. Reformation Sunday
Reformation Sunday
Reformation Sunday 504 years ago, Martin Luther started the Protestant Reformation by nailing 95 theses, or complaints, to the door of his local church in northern Germany. That sparked events that profoundly changed the course of western history. But is the Reformation still relevant today? This Reformation Sunday, Pastor Mark will preach about the truth of salvation by grace through faith that brought the church back to the clear Word of God found within the Bible. In Romans 1:16-17, Paul longs to visit Rome so that he can share the Gospel. He declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed— a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’” As those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ – let us boldly share this Good News, as well! Our Disease, God’s Antidote
Our Disease, God’s Antidote
In 2 Corinthians 13:11, Paul issues a series of rapid-fire instructions, followed by a final blessing, “Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.” God wants us to put our differences aside and come together so that we can all benefit from our many different spiritual gifts. As Christians, we should love each other with the love that comes from God. It’s plain to see that we live in a messed up, sin-filled world! Should we throw our hands in the air and give up? No! Jesus has (and is) the antidote for all that ails us and our society. He has (and is) the cure for all and any of the sinful characteristics that we deal with daily. In this stand-alone sermon, “Our Disease…God’s Antidote”, Pastor Dave will focus on God’s remedy for hatred, violence, divisiveness, self-centeredness, and evil. We will be reminded of God’s love, peace, unity, mercy, and goodness. We will also be challenged to be agents of those characteristics. October 24, 2021 Pastor Dave Timm

For six weeks, we’re jumping back into the early 90s when flannels, Friends, and flared jeans were all the rage. It was also trendy to wear WWJD bracelets. People found themselves asking, “What would Jesus do?” However, a better question might be, “What DID Jesus do?” Along with His death and resurrection, Jesus taught. He spoke with authority unlike anyone else and revealed critical truths. Riding on the Shoulders of Jesus: The Parables of the Lost
Riding on the Shoulders of Jesus The Parables of the Lost Luke 15:1-31 Effortless.  It’s the idea that I can achieve something without having to do anything. What it really means is that someone is doing all the work for me.  This is a picture of our salvation in Christ.  This is also a picture of our repentance.  Christ has done it all, and we are invited in. We will be looking at the beloved parables in Luke 15: the lost sheep, the lost coin and the prodigal son. We will learn about God’s great love for us and that His heart is for us.  We will also learn that we are the objects of heavenly celebration. August 2, 2020 Mark Rein
