Harry and Ryan welcome Bryan Carver to the ‘studio’ to talk about his embryonic career, how he walked away from a potential teaching degree, and now he’s riding plenty of winners. And he’s not bad looking. Harry gives a review of the last fortnight, with some horses to follow, and his tips, who could run on Thursday at Taunton.

Recorded in Jamie Overton’s car on the way back from Haydock, where we celebrated Cyrname’s breakthrough win. We talk about the horses and Jamie’s progress following an ankle operation. He was a top class driver and a great guest!

Geoff once described himself as Paul Nicholls’ brother-in-law, but then changed his claim to notoriety to ‘Harry Derham’s father’. Geoff must be the most interesting man in insurance, who attends most of the nation’s great sporting events, alongside the likes of Jimmy Anderson and Mick Jagger. Listen to hear what he has to say, while Harry previews the first big jump meeting at Chepstow.
