Swing Shift with Ryan and BeauMar 25, 2024
S5E03: RIP SWING SHIFT
Ryan Burschinger and Beau Benson have sold out like they said they would. After 4 seasons of covering the Dodgers independently, the guys have gigantic news on the future of this humble podcast. This episode has no baseball talk whatsoever. The guys look back on the beginning of their friendship, the World Series win, the awful playoff exits, and everything that has made Swing Shift something that a few people actually liked.
Thank you to each and every one of you who have spent even a second of your time with us. Except for Don Wooten, we will hate you forever.
S5E02: We've Seen Enough
Two days into Spring Training and Ryan Burschinger and Beau Benson have seen enough; the Dodgers are your 2024 World Series Champions. The guys explain why the MLB Network's Top 100 proves that Mookie Betts was absolutely right about the way the Dodgers are perceived around the league. Anthony Rendon gives yet another reason to feel bad for Angels fans. Plus, the perfect way to bring a Minor League team to the San Fernando Valley, Fanatics shamelessly supports public indecency, and many happy trails to Hyun-Jin Ryu!

S5E01: Dodgers Dominate the Offseason
Ryan Burschinger and Beau Benson are back for another year of Dodger baseball, where the world is blessed and beautiful with Shohei Ohtani in blue. The guys celebrate the return of Clayton Kershaw and dive into the acquisitions of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Tyler Glasnow, and James Paxton, and explain how the rotation will be navigated with the loaded crop of talent. Ryan and Beau look at how Teoscar Hernandez impacts the lineup and examine if the bullpen is in need of one more Dodger reunion. Plus, Rob Manfred continue to out-idiot himself, everyone hates the new jerseys, and this Dodger podcast thing might just be too easy.

S4E15: OHTANI
SHOHEI OHTANI IS A DODGER. Ryan Burschinger and Beau Benson react. Everything is great and wonderful and we love you.

S4E14: Do We Believe?
Ryan Burschinger and Beau Benson lay out expectations and hopes for the Dodgers offseason. The guys explain why the Dodgers being in on Aaron Nola is a great sign for what could come. Ryan and Beau lay out what rumors should be believed and what rumors should be dismissed, concerning the likes of Mike Trout, Dylan Cease, Tyler Glasnow, and more. Plus, a positive outlook for Clayton Kershaw, what to do with Michael Busch, and the obligatory "Shohei Ohtani is definitely coming" conversation.
S4E13: Pathetic, Part 2
The Dodgers did it again. They somehow were eliminated from the postseason in a more embarrassing way than last year. Ryan Burschinger and Beau Benson dive into every aspect of the pathetic exit. From the disappearances of Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, to the depressing potential end of Clayton Kershaw's career, to the collective offensive slump, to the baffling roster decisions - the guys try their best to make sense of it all. How much blame does Dave Roberts actually deserve? Plus, an honest discussion on intangibles, a completely unbiased (seriously!) examination of the playoff format, and a first look at how the Dodgers need to approach the offseason.

S4E12: 100 Wins, NLDS Preview
Ryan and Beau react to the Dodgers winning 100 games yet again and examine how players are recognizing that winning with this squad feels different than the teams of the last few years. The guys break down what they expect to see from the starting rotation in the NLDS and look at how Caleb Ferguson's recent struggles could open the door for an intriguing late addition to the playoff bullpen. Plus, more silly stolen base records, Gabe Kapler didn't deserve it, and no, we aren't going to talk about that guy.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb
S4E11: Dodgers Win The NL West Again
The Dodgers are NL West Champions for the 10th time in 11 years, even though both Ryan and Beau thought it wouldn't happen. The guys look at how the Dodgers were able to take the division yet again despite losing key pieces in 2022, while the Padres appeared to be primed for a very successful season. The guys look at how the playoff pitching staff will shape up and explain why LA may be better off not taking the 1-seed from Atlanta. Plus, the Oakland A's found a new way to fail to live up to their incredibly low expectations.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb
S4E10: Dumbass
Ryan and Beau react to Julio Urias being an idiot. The guys look at the shape of the rotation moving forward and explain why there are reasons to be optimistic about the pitching staff heading into the postseason. Plus, Tony Gonsolin deserves your respect, Shohei Ohtani should still be a Dodger, and don't let stolen bases take the MVP away from Mookie Betts.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram @swingshiftrnb
S4E09: Dodgers Take Control of NL West, Trade Reinforcements Step Up
Ryan and Beau examine how the new (and some familiar) faces for the Dodgers have been beneficial acquisitions nearly 2 weeks since the trade deadline. The guys discuss the significance of adding Lance Lynn, Joe Kelly, and Ryan Yarbrough to the pitching staff. Is Mookie Betts the real NL MVP? The Angels and Padres have both fallen flat on their faces. Max Scherzer is a bitter ex, but the New York Mets still deserve to be ridiculed. Plus, the real reason why Eduardo Rodriguez refused to leave Detroit, how Hello Kitty could save the Oakland A's, and one minor league team is sending really weird messages.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram @swingshiftrnb
S4E08: Dodgers Trade Deadline Preview with Blake Williams
Ryan and Beau preview the Dodgers' potential trade deadline action with Dodger Blue Senior Editor Blake Williams. The guys examine the scope of the pitching market and identify possible right-handed hitting outfielders that could make sense as platoon bats. How concerned should we be about Julio Urias? Blake gives an update on Walker Buehler and Blake Treinen. Plus, Blake explains what he believes will happen with Shohei Ohtani.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb, @ByBlakeWilliams
S4E07: The Shotime Dodgers
Ryan and Beau react to the events of the All-Star Break and explain why Shohei Ohtani joining the Dodgers prior to next season makes too much sense. Could an Ohtani trade to a different contender ruin the Dodgers' chances at signing the superstar? Ryan has his first in-person exposure to the new era of baseball and breaks down why the pitch clock harms the stadium experience. Can Miguel Vargas get a starting job back by the end of the season? Plus, a new path forward for Dustin May, the truth about the Dodgers' upcoming deadline plans, and Elon Musk out-dorks the biggest dorks.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb
S4E06: You're Only As Good As Your Bullpen
Ryan and Beau react to a tumultuous start to June for the Dodgers. The guys highlight the positives, as the stars and veterans are carrying the offense, while a legend and a rookie give the only bright spots on the mound. Ryan and Beau examine the rough times for Noah Syndergaard and much of the bullpen and discuss how the Dodgers need to handle these weaknesses. However, the guys break down why there are reasons to be optimistic for a return to form for much of the pitching staff. Plus, what John Sterling calling Dodger games would sound like, the Padres are in a legitimate crisis, and the Oakland A's do not exist.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb
S04E05: Trade Targets and Tired Arms
Ryan and Beau react to the last couple weeks of Dodger baseball, including exciting displays of the future from Bobby Miller and Gavin Stone. The Dodgers have ran into injuries to the starting staff and high mileage on the bullpen, but there are reasons to be optimistic about the pitching staff moving forward. The guys highlight some starting pitchers that could be trade targets ahead of the deadline. Plus, the Padres may be digging too deep of a hole, a truly terrible month for Trayce Thompson, and everyone should hate Marcell Ozuna.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb
S4E04: Oh Look, The Dodgers Are Good Again!
Ryan and Beau react to a hot start to May for the Dodgers and explain why these wins are a great sign for the state of the team in 2023. The Padres were able to steal one win from the streaking Dodgers, but they're instant karma for gloating made the next two wins even more satisfying. How many times does Mookie Betts need to remind you that he's Mookie Betts? Max Muncy is raking, James Outman is legit, Victor Gonzalez is resurging, and Michael Busch is running into the exact problem we expected him to run into. Plus, Noah Syndergaard sees a hypnotist, the White Sox should have a movie made after them, All-Star Break "festivities," and the Cardinal Way has gone from bombastic arrogance to hilariously awful strategy.

S4E03: Technical Difficulties and Average April Baseball
Ryan and Beau react to a .500 start for the Dodgers over the first few weeks of the 2023 season. The guys reveal how technical difficulties saved them from instantly cold takes, creating a perfect metaphor for the first month of a baseball season. Max Muncy and Chris Taylor were bad until they suddenly weren't (but CT3 might still be). The bullpen is bad when it needs to be good and good when the offense fails. Plus, new rules may be hurting the Dodgers, Fernando Tatis Jr. destroying AAA is nothing special, and why blink-182 was not the biggest surprise of weekend 1 at Coachella.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb, @ryanburschinger, @beaunotjackson
S4E02: Rookies and Role Players Highlight Dodgers 2023 Roster
Ryan and Beau preview the start of the 2023 season for the Los Angeles Dodgers by diving into the final 26-man roster. The guys discuss the impact of Gavin Lux's injury. James Outman should be a huge contributer this year, but Miguel Vargas should be seen as the most exciting rookie to start the season. Ryan has a stupid reason why Julio Urias actually shouldn't start Opening Day. Plus, high expectations for certain role players, forgiveness for Pete Rose, and the debut of "Overreacting Over Tiny Stories And Assuming They Mean Shohei Ohtani Will Be A Dodger."
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb, @ryanburschinger, @beaunotjackson
S4E01: Defense and Depth Define Dodgers Offseason
Ryan and Beau have shaken off the sadness after the end of the 2022 season and have recommitted to another year of Dodgers baseball. The Dodgers rightfully are changing a decades-old tradition. Trading for Miguel Rojas addresses a wildly underrated need. David Peralta, Alex Reyes, and old friend Jimmy Nelson bring beneficial new layers to the roster. The guys dive into the barrel of fun that is the list of Spring Training Non-Roster Invitees. Plus; Clayton Kershaw skipping the World Baseball Classic is a relief, Manny Machado opting out is no surprise, and the Brewers disrespecting Corbin Burnes is insane.

S3E09: Dodgers Take the Offseason Off
Ryan and Beau are back with an update on an active offseason around baseball and an uncharacteristically inactive offseason for the Dodgers. The guys explain why all signs point to Trevor Bauer being released now that his suspension is reduced. Noah Syndergaard and JD Martinez are compelling additions. Ryan and Beau break down why every decision this offseason is a step towards going all-in for Shohei Ohtani. Plus, the guys pay their respects to Justin Turner and Cody Bellinger, Gavin Lux at shortstop will probably be a bad thing, and the Mets' spending spree is a good thing but may be a pointless thing.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb, @bonotjackson, @ryanburschinger
S3E08: Pathetic
The 2022 Los Angeles Dodgers won 112 games, with only one of them coming in the 2022 postseason. The Dodgers got bounced by the San Diego Padres after an abysmal, disgusting, horrible, shameful display of baseball from a team that was fresh off of making history. Ryan and Beau dive deep into what went wrong, where the blame should be placed, and how the franchise should move forward. What will this mean for Dave Roberts' future in LA? Plus, a new level of appreciation for 2020, a potential playoff format adjustment incoming, and Ryan is warming up to welcoming in a controversial superstar.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb, @ryanburschinger, @beautbenson
S3E07: Dodgers Make History, No One Cares
Ryan and Beau celebrate a record-breaking regular season for the Dodgers and are fed up with fans who refuse to appreciate it. Have some confidence in the best team in baseball. A long lost friend may pop up on the postseason roster, and Craig Kimbrel hopefully will not. The Padres beating the Mets could pose both a best-case and worst-case scenario for the Dodgers. Good on Padres fans for being willing to humiliate themselves in a pathetic attempt to take a shot at the Dodgers. Plus, Aaron Judge had an incredible season, but stop acting like 62 is more than 73.

S3E06: The Dodgers are NL West Champs Again
Ryan and Beau return after the Dodgers put the finishing touches on a dominant summer by clinching their 9th NL West title in the last decade. If you want a Craig Kimbrel complaint-fest, look elsewhere, as Kimbrel's new Frozen form may be a sign of good things to come. The guys preview the 26-man playoff roster. Plus, Trayce Thompson is more than deserving of an everyday role at this point.

S3E05: Vin
Ryan and Beau pay tribute to the legendary Vin Scully. Ryan revisits a story he told on the first episode of Swing Shift, the time he met Vin. The San Diego Padres won the trade deadline, but the Dodgers are the only ones who have been winning games since then. Chris Martin and Joey Gallo were the result of a surprisingly, yet also understandably, inactive deadline for the Dodgers. Plus, depth is back, Muncy might be back, and Morosi was right.
S3E04: Jon Paul Morosi Talks Juan Soto and MLB Trade Deadline
MLB Network's Jon Paul Morosi joins Ryan and Beau to discuss the biggest names that may or may not be moved at the trade deadline. JP gives the latest on Juan Soto, including why he believes the Dodgers are not the most likely NL West landing spot, and why Soto will not get an extension regardless of where he lands. Plus, JP breaks down why the Angels will hang on to Shohei Ohtani until he hits free agency, and highlights the pitching trade market headlined by Luis Castillo.
Ryan and Beau react to JP's comments on Soto and explain why they believe no one is more equipped to land the All-Star than the Dodgers. The guys break down all angles of a potential Juan Soto trade, and explore what other moves the Dodgers could make ahead of the deadline. Plus, Clayton Kershaw starting the All-Star Game was a great thing, and the Giants continue to plummet back down to Earth.

S3E02 - Buehler and Bullpen Fun, Injuries Galore, and an Overwhelming Fear of the Pittsburgh Pirates
Ryan and Beau look back on the last month of Dodger baseball, highlighted by much success against any team not named the Pittsburgh Pirates. Walker Buehler is hitting some growing pains, but it shouldn't be a big deal... right? Injuries and struggles from Craig Kimbrel and Brusdar Graterol have caused the bullpen to come back down to Earth; however, Andrew Friedman's strategy in building the pen is still the way to go. Plus, the Swing Shift curse is alive and well, and the world needs more Tim Andersons and a lot less terrible Star Wars fans.

Swing Shift S3E01 - Dodgers Historically Great Start, Justin Turner Turning Down
Ryan and Beau (now a father!) are back for a third season of Swing Shift. The Dodgers are already showing their ability to be the best team in baseball, and the pitching staff is giving numbers unlike anything we've ever seen. Clayton Kershaw is making everyone happy. Blake Treinen will be out until the second half of the season, but the Dodgers already have a suitable replacement in the pen. There are reasons to not be concerned about Max Muncy, but major reasons to be concerned about Justin Turner. The guys spoil the hell out of Doctor Strange 2. Plus, don't let the door hit you on the way out Trevor!

#44 w/ Scott Geirman of DodgerBlue.com: AJ Pollock for Craig Kimbrel Reactions, Spring Training is Dumb and Stupid
Scott Geirman of DodgerBlue.com joins Ryan and Beau to help break down the pros and cons of the swap of AJ Pollock for Craig Kimbrel. Ryan has discovered just how much he hates Spring Training. What should be made of the Cody Bellinger's struggles in the Spring? Scott gives insight on what to expect from Andrew Heaney, David Price, and Tyler Anderson this year. Jake Lamb missing the Opening Day roster is actually a good sign. Plus, Dave Roberts getting an extension is good and well-deserved, despite how much you may not like it.

#42: Free Freddie, Rams Represent, Manfred Manipulates
Ryan and Beau find some positivity in the worst period for baseball in recent history. Los Angeles does, and should, care that the Rams won a title. The latest Freddie Freeman rumor reactions might actually be more than wishful thinking. Rob Manfred is lying to your face. Nothing should change in regards to Trevor Bauer. Plus, Clayton Kershaw optimism, an MLB team in Portland, and therapeutic vomiting.

#41: Make Us the Mediators
Ryan and Beau continue their new favorite segment on the show - "Let's Overreact to Tiny Statements and Assume They Mean that Freddie Freeman Will Be a Dodger." Is there actual hope of a Trea Turner extension? The CBA negotiations are just getting worse. The top of the Dodgers farm system continues to get better. The Hall of Fame voting results make no sense. Plus, all of LA should embrace the possibility of the Rams bringing another title to town.

#40: The Death of The Party
Ryan and Beau find actual baseball news to talk about while the baseball world is trapped in purgatory. The Dodgers have a new GM, but don’t expect anything to change. Could one recent trade rumor actually hint at Freddie Freeman coming to the Dodgers? The guys look at the scope of the starting pitching trade market and give an update on actual (and slightly depressing) progress in the CBA talks between owners and players. Aaron Rodgers deserves to be ripped for the Packers loss, while Mahomes deserves to be praised for the Chiefs win. Plus, Ryan eulogizes Every Time I Die, and no, When We Were Young will not be like Fyre Fest you dorks.

#39: A Podcast Concerning a Collection of Professional Baseball Players in the Los Angeles Area
Given that the professional athletic organization and corporation commonly referred to as Major League Baseball does not currently exist, Ryan and Beau stick to a list of preapproved topics by Supreme Leader Robert Manfred in order to celebrate the rich history of the game, and not in any way acknowledge present athletes that associate themselves with such a sport. If they were to be talking about present athletes, they would possibly mention how Corey Seager accepted a lot of money to change his residence to Texas, Chris Taylor should be observed as a wonderful citizen of Los Angeles and its surrounding communities, and Max Scherzer is downright wrong for blaming his shortcomings on his now-previous employers. But we don’t talk about these things, we are only celebrating the history of baseball as anyone currently associated with the sport should be doing!

#38: Dodgers Offseason Preview 2021-2022
Ryan and Beau take a deep dive into the Dodgers loaded batch of free agents and predict where the biggest stars will end up (hopefully back in Los Angeles). The Dodgers are handling Clayton Kershaw's free agency the right away, and the guys explain why they anticipate Kershaw to return to the Dodgers for the rest of time. The Dodgers should do all they can to retain Max Scherzer and Corey Seager, but it may be at the expense of Chris Taylor. Please just leave us alone for good, Carlos Correa. The guys look at free agency and the trade market across the league, and explain why it would be in the best interest of the Dodgers to once again pester the Reds and A's for their best talent. Plus, MLB award season is deeply flawed, Eternals was a good movie, and NFL fans are goblins.

#37: Losers
The Dodgers 2021 season is over. Ryan and Beau try to make sense of what happened, and the answer is unfortunately simple. Using starters in relief backfired, but the dead arms may have been inevitable. The offense was bad, the bullpen's brilliance was wasted, and injuries became insurmountable. But, there were some positives to be celebrated, and the guys dip their feet into the upcoming wave of free agents.

#36: The Giants Have Checked Out
The Dodgers won the first ever playoff series matchup with the Giants, and it did not come easily. Ryan and Beau talk about the much-discussed final out of Game 5 and look at the real reasons why the Dodgers were able to take 3 of 5 from the NL West champs. Could this be a title run of destiny for the Dodgers, righting the wrongs of the past decade of disappointments (prior to 2020, of course)? Plus, Dave Roberts is looking to win an Oscar, a bullpen like we've never seen before, stop complaining about openers, never bunt, and yes, a little bit of a preview of the NLCS against the Braves.
Follow us on Twitter and Instagram! @swingshiftrnb, @ryanburschinger, @beautbenson
#36: Dodgers vs. Giants NLDS Preview
The Dodgers won the most stressful game of the season in the most exciting and anxiety-inducing way. Ryan and Beau discuss every moment of the NL Wild Card Game and highlight how the most valuable contributions came from the most surprising places. Dave Roberts and the bullpen are giving huge reasons for optimism moving forward. Retire Justin Turner's number. The guys preview what may be the highest-profile Division Series in league history and settle for the fact that you simply cannot explain the San Francisco Giants.

#35: Wild Card Game Preview - Dodgers vs. Cardinals
The Dodgers won 106 games and they've been rewarded with a one-game playoff against the 90-win St. Louis Cardinals. Ryan and Beau preview the game and give reasons to be nervous and reasons to be optimistic. But first, the guys give their requisite dance on the graves of the San Diego Padres. Plus, the San Francisco Giants are evidence of divine intervention.
#34: Max Scherzer Supremacy, a Cody Bellinger Conundrum, and Previewing the Dodgers Playoff Roster
Ryan and Beau return from a month-long hiatus and mock the Padres for apparently taking the same period of time off. Max Scherzer is even better than expected and may already be preparing to finish his career in Los Angeles. Cody Bellinger is a problem, but is he enough of a problem to be left off the playoff roster? The guys break down what a potential playoff roster would look like. Plus, it's everyone's favorite game - "Is This The Name Of A Real Person Who Actually Played For The 2021 Dodgers?"

#33: Max Scherzer, Trea Turner, and Hopefully a Sponsorship from the Jose Canseco Merch Store
Ryan and Beau react to a wonderful, glorious, beautiful trade deadline. Max Scherzer is now a Dodger - why this was necessary and why he didn't land in San Diego. Trea Turner is now a Dodger - why this was the most significant addition of the season and what it means for Corey Seager and Chris Taylor in the offseason. Danny Duffy is now a Dodger - why this can be a significant move. Cole Hamels is now a Dodger - neat. Plus, Cody Bellinger is showing signs of life, Mookie Betts is more impressive than you realize, don't be concerned about the Dodgers historic level of extra-inning failures, and Jose Canseco is a gift to the world.

#32: Trade Deadline Preview
Ryan and Beau discuss the upcoming MLB Trade Deadline with friend of the show and former Dodgers Nation writer Wyatt Asher. What could a deal for Max Scherzer or Jose Berrios look like? What should you expect the Giants and Padres to do before the deadline? It's time to get Keibert Ruiz to the majors, whether that's with the Dodgers or elsewhere. What do you do with Cody Bellinger? The guys look at potential bullpen acquisitions and discuss a rough couple of weeks for Kenley Jansen. Plus, Aaron Rodgers returns for now, but the Rams may make this season irrelevant for the Packers and the rest of the NFC.

#31: FTB
It stands for "F*ck Trevor Bauer." I don't know if podcast sites get weird with curse words in titles or descriptions but there's just no other way to title this episode. We talk about the sexual assault allegations against Trevor Bauer, explain why we don't want him on the Dodgers or any other team ever again, and dissect the Dodgers and MLB's unfortunately slow response to the story. The optics from the Dodgers and Dave Roberts over the last couple days have been bad, but Major League Baseball's domestic violence policy has made this whole situation even worse. Sure, maybe he is innocent and maybe the situation is not as it seems, but we can't and won't handle it in that regard right now. Sorry if you're looking for a level-headed discussion on this topic, we are too furious and too appalled to even try to handle it that way.
We eventually talk about the less significant aspect of this story - what happens next for the Dodgers rotation? Plus, there are some happy highlights across baseball that deserve your attention, and Avengers Campus is unfortunately a letdown.

#30: Sunscreen, Spider Tack, and Scapegoating
The foreign substance crackdown has arrived in Major League Baseball, but the reason for the enforcement goes much further than just the sticky stuff making its way into ballgames. Ryan and Beau break down how we got here, what is next for Major League pitchers, and how this could directly impact the Dodgers, with everything from honest criticisms to rabid conspiracy theories galore. Plus, complaints about Mookie Betts are stupid, and Chris Taylor deserves to be an All-Star.

#29: The Almighty Blessings of Albert Pujols
The Dodgers have won 12 of the last 15 games since Ryan and Beau recorded their previous miserable episode, and now the magic of Albert Pujols decrees that the team can never lose again. The guys react to the Pujols signing and look at how the move has made more and more sense every day. Ryan and Beau analyze the additions of Yoshi Tsutsugo and a couple new bullpen arms. Stop blaming analytics for no-hitters. Trevor Bauer continues to be a saving grace. Plus, the worst wardrobe choice by a fan in Dodger Stadium history, the hilarious highlights of Oaks Christian nepotism, and Beau's horrible day at Disneyland.

#28: The Suckiest Bunch Of Sucks That Ever Sucked
Ryan and Beau talk about the worst team in baseball. But no, seriously though, the Dodgers are going to be fine, everything is just very frustrating right now. The guys break down the various reasons behind the recent skid and explain why there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic for the rest of the season. Corey Seager needs to figure out how to play shortstop again. Dave Roberts makes bad decisions sometimes but what else is new. Plus, Albert Pujols deserves your damn respect, and Aaron Rodgers will get his way, one way or another.

#27: Losing the April World Series
Well, it was fun while it lasted. Congrats to the San Diego Padres for once again winning the World Series. But really, this new “rivalry” between the Dodgers and Padres is great for baseball and we should acknowledge it as such. Ryan and Beau look to start some beef, say goodbye to some legendary beef, and tell you why the Fernando Tatis Jr. and Trevor Bauer beef is a win for everyone. The reasons behind the Dodgers recent offensive struggles are trickier than you would think. Plus, Mad-Bum maybe threw a no-hitter, and the Oscars were actually good but a little awkward.

#26: Dodgers Homecoming
Friend of the show Brandon Gutierrez joins Ryan and Beau to give a firsthand account of the Dodgers 2021 home opener and ring ceremony. Brandon brings in all the sights, sounds, and emotions of the pregame celebration and tells you what new things you should expect in your return to Dodger Stadium this season. Kenley Jansen has experienced a whole season within the last week. Of course Trevor Bauer being targeted, but some aspects make it hard to sympathize with him. Plus, the Dodgers are the best team in baseball, but you already knew that.

#25: 2021 Season Preview
Ryan and Beau preview the 2021 season and highlight the names grabbing the final spots on the Dodgers' Opening Day roster. Francisco Lindor and Steve Cohen are making Corey Seager more money by the second. Dustin May starts the year as the fifth starter, but could he finish the year as the closer? The guys discuss the benefits and issues of a potential timeshare at catcher. Plus, bad billboards, alternate jerseys, division winners, award picks, and much more!

#24: Powered By Microsoft
Ryan and Beau look back on a year on COVID and it's impact on the sports world. The guys have the perfect solution for a Dodgers 2020 Championship celebration. A Spring Training update: DJ Peters, Matt Beaty, and David Price make things interesting. Plus, Wandavision was good and many of the complaints about the ending are dumb.
#23: Spring Training Preview
Ryan and Beau look at the biggest Dodger and MLB storylines of the last couple weeks. Justin Turner is back home. Dave Roberts shockingly speaks kindly of Kenley Jansen. Fernando Tatis Jr.'s extension is a great thing for baseball. The guys highlight a few players to watch this Spring. Plus, the depths of Kevin Mather's idiocy go beyond what people realize and Trevor Bauer is doing Trevor Bauer things.
#22: Trevor Bauer is a Dodger
Trevor Bauer is a Dodger. It’s ok to be happy about it (the Dodgers’ rotation is stupid). It’s ok to be mad about it (Trevor Bauer has been stupid). Ryan and Beau have an honest discussion about all angles of the Bauer signing. Plus, Bob Nightengale reaches his final form and the Angels are a hilarious franchise.
