Ahoy!   I am submitting after a post to the FB group Support Your Local 417 Punk Bands.   The bio for my nonsense punk band Wölframandhartiger:  "Formed at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Wölframandhartiger are Doug Driesel Jr. and Jake Young, of Springfield, MO. Answering the question: What if a young William Shatner fronted a genre-ignoring punk band?   Wölframandhartiger have only been a band for a little under a year, but have already put out two LPs, two EPs, and are working on their third EP.

Started freestyling with the homies when I was 12, smoking breaking into cars selling weed an shit  Eventually I started taking it serious once I got on my feet as it is a passion of mine so naturally you will resort to what you like doing once you get right and once I got right I got back on track of getting better everyday since I got my own place and what not  And my influence are  biggie smalls Nas Nirvana  The beatles And xxxtentacion  Thats it when it comes to major musical influences. I like the uk drill scene and new york drill scene as well but not anyone im to big on at the moment.

Anthony Michaels has been playing guitar since 1992. After playing with a  local act up until 1999 he split off to follow his own path as a solo  artist.In 2006, with the help from Scott Rainey as producer and  engineer, he released his self-titled debut album. It was immediately  apparent to listeners that this was a guitar player of great fervency  and technical skill, and also a musician with deep understanding and  dedication for his guitar playing and composing. Anthony's self-titled  debut album gained him immediate attention and acclaim with fans and  professionals in the music industry resulting in an indie record  deal,endorsements, interviews, magazine ads, radio play, and  international touring. The follow up CD, 2009's "Into the Light" only  further solidified Anthony's reputation for unfeigned melodies, fluid  soloing and a solid commitment to songwriting. In 2010 Anthony retired  from music, but as of 2018 Anthony has returned to play Guitar and  create more music...............

It’s a hard scene to get out of your head  ‐ singer‐ songwriter Jeff Heiskell in a sexually‐charged wrestling match in the dirt by a campfire with both men wearing overalls and spooky emoji masks. The scene is a pivotal moment in the video for I Want More Life, from Heiskell’s new album, Emotional Terrorism. “The question is ‘What’s Jeff gonna do once he’s got him down on the ground?’” says Heiskell, chuckling. “When I ask friends what they think about the video they merely say, ‘Well, that’s really you’,” which is so disturbing!” Yet, who would really expect anything conventional from Jeff Heiskell? Of course he takes the sweetest love song on the album and fills it with images and scenarios that make your skin crawl just a little. Heiskell has been a provocateur since emerging on the national scene in the late 1980s as lead singer‐songwriter in the The Judybats. The songs, “Being Simple,” “Daylight" and "Don't Drop the Baby" all found a niche in college radio. The band released four albums on Sire Records before disbanding at the dawn of the new millennium. After a short stint fronting a group called Doubter’s Club, Heiskell spent several years avoiding music altogether. Then, in 2006, he returned with “Soundtrack for an Aneurism,” “Clip‐On Nose Ring” in 2008, and “Arriving” in 2015. The songs have only gotten deeper and more honest. They’re also, increasingly, more openly sexual. However, Heiskell does not fall into anything stereotypical. Emotional Terrorism is a rock record and there’s not a hint of “I wish I was in New York or San Francisco” any more than the artists who recorded at Sun Records sound like they could’ve been making music anywhere other than Memphis. Being from and living in East Tennessee is as much or more a part of Heiskell’s music and identity than any other element. Listen to the trashy country number “Whiskey Lick” and you’ll understand. It’s funny, but it’s not a joke. “I recently googled ‘gay music’ and ‘alt gay music’ and I was appalled. Saw nothing there in common with me or my music. But then I’m 55 years old and putting out a gay alt‐ rock CD” – laughing – “Who does that?” On “Emotional Terrorism,” Heiskell took control more than he ever has. “This is the first time I’ve ever had a project that I felt the confidence in being there for every single ding,” he says. “On these recordings there was nothing done without me physically in the room.” “During the time I was writing these songs I was working out at a small local gym with the only music being an old boom box. I listened exclusively to ‘70s rock ‐ Elton John, Heart … I didn’t realize how much ‘70s rock was stored in my mind. There’s a part of my brain where it’s eternally 1975 and ‘Born to Run’ is playing on the jukebox 24/7.” “This is my favorite thing I’ve ever done,” says Jeff. “I didn’t give myself any kind of timeline. We remixed some songs 12 or 14 times. I put all kinds of perverse stacked background vocals and some yelling on tracks simply because I think its what the song wanted and mostly just because I wanted to.” Heiskell again worked with brothers Jason Ratliff (drums) and Bo Ratliff (bass), and guitarists John T. Baker and Gray Comer of Arbor Studios where the album was recorded. For the video, Heiskell enlisted Douglas Stuart McDaniel of Storyhaus Media. Filmed mostly in Heiskell’s home as well as outside a crumbling country store on a piece of family property in Niota,TN, he adds, “Every time I do an album it’s the a big personal outpouring. This one may be the most personal yet, especially the video. There’s so much emotional baggage down there in Niota. Named after an all-too-real episode  of Daria, Quinn the Brain is a dark alt-rock/grunge-punk power trio that  brings back music based on the harsh truths of reality. With lyrics  pulled from real-life experiences and music reflecting the moods and  themes of the darkest hour, Quinn the Brain proves that angst isn’t just  for teenagers.

Based in Houston, Texas, the band has  performed various concerts across Texas, shared the stage with  up-and-coming bands such as Starcrawler and Skating Polly, been featured  on University of Houston’s Coog Radio and Houston Pacifica Radio 90.1  KPFT and has been often listed in the Houston Press as part of The Best  Music of The Week as well as had features published in Ever Metal, Über  Röck, Fangz Magazine and Voyage Houston.

Mitch Pike is a 27 year old drummer from Exeter, a small city in the southwest of England. In 2017 he was one of the three winners of a European contest held by Roland called V-Drums Heroes. In 2018 he began teaching drums in 3 schools that specialise in music in the southwest, and within a year had a full timetable of students throughout the week, while continuing to perform with acts in the evenings. In 2019 he played with 20+ different musical acts ranging in genres from rock and metal to jazz and pop. In March 2020 at the beginning of the UK lockdown for COVID-19, he began uploading videos from home played on his Roland kit, and since has amassed over 10,000 followers. Mitch’s content varies from chops based videos played to tracks, to notated grooves and fills, to a breakdown series featuring demonstrating technical work from some of the worlds most renowned drummers.
