Being Uncomfortable Can Be Comfortable
From dealing with physical health issues to life's most difficult moments, feeling uncomfortable is inevitable. In this month's episode, we talk about finding comfort during your most uncomfortable moments, pushing through your limiting beliefs, and having the willingness to tolerate difficult or unpleasant situations. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Moving on From the Past with Closure and Acceptance
Nostalgia is healthy and comforting. However, longing and wishing for the past can inhibit growth and contribute to feelings of despair and depression. In this month's podcast episode, we'll discuss how to bring more closure and acceptance into your life while simultaneously learning how to live more mindfully in the present moment. As we enter a new Spring season, we can learn to mirror this season of change by inviting a sense of renewal into our physical space and headspace so we can healthily move forward with fewer external distractions, more clarity, and well-deserved peace. So sit back, relax, and enjoy - happy listening!
A Very Entertaining Relationship Q&A
You asked, and we answered! For this month's podcast episode, I'm joined by my boyfriend to answer a few questions that were submitted through Instagram related to all things relationships. We don't have the answers, but we most definitely have some experience to share. Whether you are seeking advice on friendships, a relationship with a family member, are in an unhealthy relationship, or trying to navigate being in a healthy relationship, then this episode is for you. We're not experts, and we don't claim to be. But, we have some laughs to share and some love to spread. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Are You Happy?
It's that time of year again: the time we give into yet another commercial holiday to buy new calendars, new planners, and gym memberships because we were finally permitted by the societal Gods to start over on the 1st of the year. Are you setting goals that are your own, or are you setting goals that seem like the things you SHOULD be doing to be successful in the eyes of society? For me, New Year's Day is a load of horse sh*t and typically yields goals that aren't sustainable or easily attainable. Naturally, because of this, we typically get discouraged, demotivated, and uninspired, and our once AMAZING "New Year New Me" goals are null and void. So, we tell ourselves we'll just try again next year when we're granted permission to start over again. As we start this new month, I encourage you to ask yourself how you want to feel instead of worrying about all the things you need to do and all the goals you need to hit. If you focus on how you WANT to feel, I’m sure you’ll be surprised as to how much your goals or resolutions may change as a result of reframing the thinking behind setting usually arbitrary goals based on societal norms of what’s successful and what’s not. Not sure how to do that? That's what this episode is for, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Chill tf Out, and Trust the Process
As we enter the holiday season, stress levels typically start to increase, emotions are heightened, and grief tends to feel heavier than usual. Instead of leaning into the busy hustle and bustle that comes with this time of year, it's important to incorporate rituals that help you stay grounded and present. In this month's episode, we'll discuss various ways to incorporate more self-care to enhance your physical and mental space while simultaneously learning how to let go, surrender, and trust the process.
Living Presently With More Patience and Flexibility
There's always so much to look forward to in the future. Alternatively, once we begin thinking "When this happens in the future, I'll be happier," looking to the future becomes the means to escape the present. By projecting our thoughts to future versions of ourselves and future wants, versions that are by no means guaranteed, we are wasting away the only spec of time that is promised to us: the present moment (duh). Obviously, living in the moment is easier said and done, so this episode walks you through ways you can incorporate more patience and flexibility into your everyday life instead of getting lost and anxious in the "what if's" and "will be's." If you find yourself daydreaming about the future so much so that it's causing you to be impatient or have a hard time breaking out of your rigid routine in an attempt to have as much control over your day as humanly possible, then this episode is for you. So relax, get comfortable, and enjoy!
The Meaning Behind moodysolace
This month's episode discusses how interior design, mental health, and physical health are all related as well as the meaning and ethos behind moodysolace.
An Honest Conversation About Anxiety, Constant Fear, and Impending Doom
Life is the most beautiful mystery. But sometimes, you can't help but think "What the F*CK is the point?" As we grow older, our carefree child-like state eventually turns into debilitating anxiety as our mortality becomes more of a reality. What's the point of joy, happiness, and excitement if the end result always ends with despair? We're all thinking and experiencing the exact same thing, but we don't often have conversations with one another regarding these very human and common emotions. So how do we manage these emotions? I have no f*cking idea, but I think this conversation is a good place to start. Happy Listening!
Let's Restructure Our Identities, Shall We?
Who are you? Are you happy with who you are or are you a version of yourself that you aren't proud of? Identity constructs are weird and strange, and too often we find ourselves chasing the identity of a person we think we should be instead of stepping into the person we'd authentically love to become. In this episode, we'll discuss ways you can try to tap into your deepest desires and wants in order to become the most expressive and authentic version of yourself. Time to throw social constructs and expectations in the mother fkn trash can, and time to step into the badass version of yourself that you've been doubting. Happy Listening, plebs!
Life Feeling the Same Every Day? Let's Change Sh*t Up.
I don't know about you, but I feel like I've been stuck in the same patterns and the same cycles for the last few years. Part of me welcomes change and applies necessary changes to my life, but another part of me stays where it's comfortable and familiar. But, growth does not come from comfortability. Growth happens when you discover new aspects of yourself by trying new hobbies, trying new foods, traveling, exploring your self-expression, and getting out of your comfort zone. That's cool and all, but where do you start? Well, that's what this episode is for. Time to change sh*t the f*ck up.
It's OK to have Dark Thoughts; Let's Talk About It.
Society, social media, celebrities, movies, and shows all feed us constant images of perfection and happiness. We look at people through a screen wondering why our lives aren't as great as someone else's and wondering why everyone around us seems to be so happy without a flicker of anxiety or depression. The reality is, we're all struggling, but we all do a good f*cking job of hiding it because we've been conditioned to. In this episode, I open up about my most recent mental breakdowns and explain how I've managed to navigate some extremely dark thoughts. You're not alone, peeps. We'll get through this shitstorm together. Happy Listening!
Let's Stop Ignoring Our F*CKING Problems, Yes?
Nostalgia can bring us comfort and peace, or it can bring emotions of longing for things we've lost in our lives. Most of us are either living and dwelling in the past wishing we could go back in time or looking to the future for hope. But, what about the moments in between? Social media is draining our batteries, our attention spans are diminishing, and we're unable to be here in this moment without reaching for a distraction to pull us out of those precious moments. So how the F*CK do you stay present while still dealing with life's bullsh*t?!? Let's find out.
Don't Live a Boring F*cking Life
Do you feel alive or are you just living and going through the motions? Are you getting out of your comfort zone and exploring new things that ignite your sense, or are you sticking with what's comfortable because it's what you know the best? Come on now, stop being boring. Let's have some fun. Happy Listening!
Have F*cking FUN
When was the last time you tapped into that child-like side of yourself and let your imagination run wild? When was the last time you allowed yourself to be creative and create something that you envisioned in your mind? As we grow older, we allow the serious side of ourselves to outshine our fun, free-spirited nature as a result of following the "normalized" grain of society. In this episode, we take it back to our inner roots and remind ourselves of what it's like to see life as exciting and full of possibilities just like a child. Enjoy!
Love your Pain, Embrace your Struggle
Do you allow your emotions to get the best of you or do you just ignore them hoping they'll just go away? Whatever the case, emotions are there to teach us something. I've adopted the idea that emotions f*ckin BLOW, and I've done everything in my power to suppress my past trauma and pain. I'm finally facing it, and the struggle is most definitely real. So, how can you learn to face your past and your darkest pain without crumbling? I don't f*ckin know; I don't have the answer. But you do.
Live, Laugh...Die?
We live, we laugh, then....we die. Why? What does this all mean? The hell if I know, but it's a topic worth dissecting. Life is strange. But death is even stranger. So, let's talk about what the f*ck happens when we die, shall we?
Time Management and Structure and Organization, oh my!
If your life isn't panning out the way you've dreamed and you're not sure why, look at your current life structure. Are you managing your time efficiently? Do you tap into your own intrinsic motivation and create structure for yourself outside of work or is your current structure formulated by your external responsibilities? Are you organized or just going with the flow waiting for change to happen? We're capable of more than we think, and, more often than not, the reason for staying stagnant in life is simply due to the fact that you don't know where to start to get back on mfkn track. So, let's analyze our day-to-day, shall we?
Glow the f*ck UP
It's a glow-up year, my dudes. Let's take a moment to reflect on where we are in our lives and to ask ourselves WHY we're really doing everything that we're doing. Life can be stressful, but are you choosing to stay in situations that make your life even more stressful than it should be? Let's dissect our "whys" so we can figure out how to glow the f*ck up, shall we?

In this episode, we discuss the importance of setting intentional rituals and creating comfortable spaces within your house in order to feel more at home within your body and within your space. Whether it be good or bad, your physical space is a direct reflection of your current state of mind. And yes, I did drink some wine prior to recording this episode, thanks for asking. Anyway, enjoy.

Are you living the life you’ve always dreamed for yourself? Or are you holding yourself back out of fear, negativity, or comfortability? I don’t know, I don’t have the answers for you. Sorry dude. But, I know a good place to start...
Nature vs Nurture. Well...WHICH ONE IS IT
Neuroscience says we're built one way, but anthropology, or the study of culture, says otherwise. Are we hard-wired to be who we are, or are we simply products of our environment? Perhaps both? I don't f*kn know, I don't have all the answers, but I do have a strong opinion on the subject. Let's discuss, shall we?
what the f*ck?!
Almost a year later, but I’m back, plebs. Life’s “what the f*ck” moments are usually met with frustration, but it’s also met with realizations and breakthroughs. My what the f*ck moments this past year have given me a new perspective on various aspects of my life; but, more importantly, I’ve gained a better and healthier relationship with myself in the process. In this week’s newest podcast episode, we’ll dive into the world of neuroscience and magic mushrooms to help us understand how our brains work in order to live more positive and meaningful lives. Your negative mindset is more than just a mindset; it’s a conditioned neural network your brain has created to make sense of the world around you. It’s time to weaken those connections in order to make room for new neural networks that, quite literally, strengthen with consistent positive thinking. But where do you start? Sit back, relax, and enjoy to find out. Happy Listening!
Learning To Feel Again When You Feel Nothing
When we're in physical pain, we do whatever we can to make sure we can heal as quickly as possible. But, when we're in emotional pain, we tend to shut off, suppress, project, and ignore. Sometimes, trauma can feel so heavy and unbearable, so it's easier to turn off our feelings than to confront them. As we gain more perspective and awareness of ourselves and the world around us as we get older, we start to feel emotions from our past trickle back into our lives and manifest as either anger, frustration, irritation, depression, or anxiety. In this week's newest podcast episode, we'll flow together through deepening our awareness of ourselves to determine what we need to heal at our core. If you're feeling like joy is non-existent and that there's no passion in your life anymore, then this episode is for you. Self Doubt and Breaking Routine are Necessary for Self Discovery
Having a routine helps us feel safe and in control of our own lives. But what happens when our once inspiring routines become mundane? We all have these periods in our lives when we ask ourselves "what the fuck am I doing with my life," and crave something more, something new and different. If you're feeling like your routine is no longer bringing you stability and comfort and has forced you to shift into auto-pilot, then it's time to look inward to ask yourself what you're really craving and what you're lacking in your life.
