Creative Strategy: The Empathy Map
As we look for new creative ways to foster a better remote working culture, Sacha Mahoor talks about the benefits of creating an empathy map, which can improve levels of collaboration and alignments between team members.  Listen to this short episode to find out how to create a template for empathy mapping, and the questions which we should ask ourselves to better understand and communicate the conditions around which we are working with others at a distance.

Episode 2: Sacha and Louis - Squar Milner LLP
We talk to Louis Swintelski, recruiter and talent acquisition expert at Squar Milner LLP who are one of the nation’s 40 largest accounting firms as well as one of the largest independent accounting and advisory firms in California. Much like our first episode, we talk about how his firm has responded to the challenges of the pandemic, working from home, why switching to private industry does not necessarily mean working less hours or better work-life balance and what future candidate skills his firm are earmarking as critical moving forward.

Episode 1 - Interview with Nancy Weber-Brough, Director of Recruiting at Haskell & White LLP
In our very first podcast, I am joined by Nancy Weber-Brough who heads all recruiting acquisitions at Haskell & White LLP, an award-winning public accounting firm in Southern California.   We talk about the challenges faced when working from home, embracing change in light of the current restrictions and the critical use of technology.  We also discuss how the firm has so far responded to the challenge of this pandemic by adopting a more collaborative mindset, when we can expect to see a resurgence in public accounting hires, and the key skills that employees could be looking for more than before. PS: Apologies in advance if you can hear my two year old son crying in the background. No amount of editing was able to drown it out - I guess that's what we can expect when working from home!
