Life has reached a low point for Trent. Following a failed suicide attempt, months of therapy, medication, and a stay in the hospital, Trent has gotten over his suicidal thoughts but still struggles with his depression. Sent across the country to be taken in by his aunt and recover away from the judgmental eyes of his community, Trent is forced to face his problems and his flaws in the company of his overprotective aunt, emotionally distant uncle, and tactless cousin.
