Two stories of Halloween tales that feel vintage '80s have been written exclusively for Listeners of Retro Reads with Sage. The First story, GARBAGE NIGHT is written by Culliver Crantz of Fright Vision Books.  The second story is written by, my mom. She dabbles in storytelling from time to time. It's called THE GAME

Our special guest on the podcast is Marcos J. also known for his handle as that creepy-cool kid.  Marcos celebrates Halloween all year-'round and I would say an expert on the subject.  He performs the role of Gavin in The Game and the Trash Can in Garbage Night.

It's Season 2 Episode 1 and our very special guest is actor, Paul-Mikel Williams.  We are so happy he agreed to do the podcast.  He is a multi-talented actor that has appeared in film and Tv and a great person too.  I loved this chat so much. Welcome to episode 5 of Retro Reads with Sage.    Our guest is the marketing director of eTruism, Erika.   eTrusim is an organization that provides a tax-friendly inventory management option for donating companies and takes the excess inventories and makes it available to customers to purchase.  Those purchases are converted into cash to the customer's charity of choice.  Donations are made to causes like hunger, environmental causes, animal welfare, education, disaster relief, and homelessness.  How brilliant! and so needed!  

eTruism is a 501(c)3 non-profit started in 2018 as an extension of a project started by classmates at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. I first heard about eTrusim in Atlanta, GA while at a kids conference over a year ago and couldn't get the concept out of my head.   I thought it would be great to introduce the Retro Reads listener to this amazing organization.

Your Retro Read today is The Giving Tree, a children's picture book written and illustrated by Shel Silverstein.  This book is for ages 0 to 100 and the message is perfect for the giving season.

Welcome to the Friendsgiving episode with very special guests, my friends, Madisson Galante, Innocent Ekakitie , Mariah Bozeman, and Trinity Moriah Jones.  

Madisson is a very talented singer and actress residing in Los Angeles.  Trinity can be seen in Hulu's Halloween Bite-sized series in a short version of the feature film STRAY.  Innocent is only 7 years and has been in numerous commercials and can be seen in the hit series on Apple TV,  Little America, and the upcoming series,  For the Love of Jason., which just premiered this week on the Urban Movie Channel, UMC.  Mariah is an actress and model, who resides in Chicago.  She also can be seen in many national commercials and has guest-starred on Chicago Med.   She can be seen in the film, The Women in the Window, coming to Netflix very soon.

The Retro Read in this episode is a monologue from the movie The Breakfast Club, written, directed, and produced by John Hughes. There are also bonus readings by Mariah Bozeman and Trinity Moriah Jones.
