The Pandavas' twelve-year journey through the forest, where they learn life lessons and develop character, is chronicled in the parva.
The Aranya Parva includes talks on virtues and ethics, as well as myths about Arjuna, Yudhishthara, and Bhima, as well as the stories "Nahusha the Snake and Yudhishthira" and "Ushinara and the Hawk."
It also includes "Nala and Damayanti" and "Savitri and Satyavan" love stories.

1. ARANYA PARVAM
The Vana Parva (or Aranya Parva) is the third of the Mahabharata's eighteen parvas, often known as the "Book of the Forest." Aranya Parva comprises 324 chapters and 21 sub-books, as is customary. The critical edition of Aranya Parva contains 16 sub-books and 299 chapters, making it the longest of the epic's 18 books.

Sabha Parva, often known as the "Book of the Assembly Hall," is the second of Mahabharata's eighteen books. In the conventional Sabha Parva, there are ten sub-books and 81 chapters. Sabha Parva comprises nine sub-books and 72 chapters in the critical edition.

He who subdues his anger, he who does not regard the bad word of others,
he who is not angry even when there is a cause, certainly acquires the four objects for which we live(namely Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha).

Aadhiparvam includes a table of contents for each of the eighteen volumes, as well as information about the relevance of each book. The Bhratas and the Bhrigus are described in detail. The work's main focus is on the birth and early lives of the Kuru Kingdom's princes, as well as Dhritarashtra's hatred of the Pandavas.

The Adi Parva, or Book of the Beginning, is the first of the Mahabharata's eighteen books. The Sanskrit term "adi" literally means "first." Traditionally, Adi Parva has 19 sub-books and 236 adhyayas (chapters). Adi Parva comprises 19 sub-books and 225 chapters in the critical edition.
