Out with the old and in with the New. YAM TIME is a direct re brand from podcast "LePodcast" that starred the trio of Saineyy, Hoopology, and Zeezy Huncho. After some time off, the boys have re grouped and we are very excited to bring you a new look to our Podcast, YAM TIME! In episode 92 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey continue their deep dive series with Sainey’s ALL TIME FAVORITE player, Russell Westbrook. To start, the boys recap his early years with OKC, including his rise to stardom and the unfortunate circumstances that kept him and the Thunder from winning a title.
From there they talk about his thunder years post- KD, and the recent part of his career away from the thunder on a few different teams.

In episode 91 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey continue their deep dive series with one of the most improbable champions of all time, the 2011 Dallas Mavericks. From the time their franchise started, Dallas could never get the job done in the playoffs, so the boys harp upon how impressive it was for Dirk to lead this team to a ring in a year where the west was so stacked.

In episode 90 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey switch up their “deep dive” series by looking into a team rather than a player. The hosts thoroughly explain why the 2012 Bobcats were the WORST team in NBA history. Between the front office, the roster, and the wild circumstances Charlotte had to face, it becomes clear as to why this basketball team was SO awful.

In episode 89 of LePodcast, Hoop and Sainey continue their Deep Dive series with Tim Duncan. They start off by discussing his IMMEDIATE impact on the Spurs, along with how other pieces of the Spurs dynasty were falling into place in the early 2000s. The boys then discuss his Boston years along with the fallout he had there, as well as the WILD stint he had with Brooklyn. Kyrie and his teams were full of what if’s, and the boys cover them all.

In episode 85 of LePodcast, Hoop, and Sainey continue their Deep Dive series with Kawhi Leonard. They start off with discussing his rise to stardom in San Antonio, and how he was positioned to possibly bring the Spurs ANOTHER ring in the late 2010s. Next, the boys talk about Kawhi’s dramatic exit with the Spurs, and how he was really the first big example of load management in the NBA. After that, the boys discuss Kawhi’s recent playoff success and struggles (Toronto and LA), and they also touch on a debate topic of where Kawhi ranks as a player in the 2010s.

The episode starts off addressing the Grant Williams and Jimmy Butler square off, and if Grant Williams is to blame for the Celtics LOSING Game 2. The conversation then transitions into a DAWG debate, comparing Tatum and Butler and discussing why Tatum seems to have an on-and-off “dawg” in him. Heading over to the West side of things, the Boys talk about Denver and how they are basically guaranteed a trip to the Finals after going up 3-0 against the Lakers, and decide if this year's Ring is ultimately Denver’s to lose. In Episode 72 of LePodcast, the Boys welcome back Zach Schwartz as a guest and kick things off by taking a deep dive into the Lakers and Warriors series. The conversation then transitions into a discussion on Stephen Curry and his woes during the clutch. Finally, Sainey and Hoop get into a heated debate on if Thibs is overplaying his players, and if he’s to blame for Grimes' injury in game 5. NOTE: Zee's audio cuts out at the 26min mark, so he doesn't speak for the second half of the episode. In Episode 71, the Boys spend a majority of the episode discussing the heated battle between the 76ers and the Celtics in the second round, re-capping the first 4 games and what positives and negatives each side is showing thus far in the series. A brief discussion on the Lakers Warriors series also breaks out which ends off with a quick recap of the other series. The Boys begin the episode by cracking jokes about the rumour of Jordan Poole and his date with Ice Spice, but want to stress that it is just a rumour that they are making jokes about, and are not giving any confirmation on the supposed date.

In Episode 70 of LePodcast, the boys give their takes on whether or not Dillon Brooks deserved to be cut from the Grizzlies, and they also predict where he will play next (Hong Kong???). Then, the boys tackle each remaining playoff series and discuss the pivotal moments we’ve seen already in round 2, including Jordan Poole’s game-winning attempt and James Harden’s 45-point masterclass.

In Episode 69 on LePodcast, Hoop and Zee discuss the ending of one of the greatest 1st round series in NBA history, being Kings vs Warriors. They give predictions on whether or not Curry and company will continue their run and best LeBron’s Lakers, and if they could possibly go even further. The rest of the episode consists of predictions and reactions to the rest of the NBA playoffs, as the Knicks are highlighted as a sleeper team to give not only give Miami trouble, but also make some noise in the eastern conference finals.

In Episode 68 of LePodcast, Hoop and Zee discuss the RIDICULOUS performances of Jimmy Butler, and they also predict how far he can take Miami (Past the Knicks???). They also share thoughts on who the weakest link is in both the eastern and western conferences out of the teams that are left, as the NBA prepares for perhaps the craziest late playoff rounds we’ve seen in the last 5-10 years.

In Episode 67 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss what has been so far a heated first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs. A discussion on recent ejections which have included a player being hit in the groin breaks out which segways into conversation on each of the different matchups we have seen so far in the first round.

In Episode 66 of LePodcast, the Boys recap the first bit of Playoff Action we've seen so far leading up to April 18th 2023.

A huge discussion breaks out on the Kings Warriors series and if Draymond Green should have been suspended for his actions against Sabonis.

This is followed up by a conversation surrounding the Suns Clippers series, recapping the first two games, and talking about the impact Russell Westbrook has been having for this Clippers squad.

A brief mention to the Knicks is also made and if Tom Thibodeau should stop playing his star players when the game is already decided in the final minutes.

In Episode 58 of LePodcast, the boys recap the highly anticipated game between Draymond Green’s Warriors and Dillon Brook’s Grizzlies. A conversation regarding Cam Thomas’ disappearance also breaks out, and that leads into talking about the oddities of the Brooklyn Nets in general. They wrap up by talking about the Knicks’ struggles without Jalen Brunson, and the Lakers’ hot streak after trading Russell Westbrook.

In Episode 57 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss Draymond Green and his recent comments against Dillon Brooks and weigh in their opinions on the situation, then a discussion on Kevin Durant and his recent ankle sprain breaks out and with reports saying he may POTENTIALLY be out for the rest of the season, a conversation on how the Suns will look without him and what that means for the NBA Playoffs breaks out.

In Episode 56 of LePodcast, the Boys discuss the New York Knicks and their recent DOUBLE OT thriller versus the Boston Celtics where they pulled away with a win. In Episode 53 of LePodcast, the boys kick off the show by discussing the Top 10 1v1 Players in the league, after Hoop shows his list for Zee and Sainey to break down which leads to a great debate amongst each other. The show then transitions into award predictions (MVP, MIP, DPOY, 6MOTY) now that we are nearing the end of the season. The show ends with a heated debate on if the Warriors can still be a threat come Playoff time.

In Episode 52 of LePodcast, the Boys recap the 2023 NBA All-Star weekend, talking about all of the events that took place and why it fell short once again. Ending off with a discussion on Russell Westbrook signing with the Clippers and what teams they believe are contenders as we near the end of the season.

In Episode 51 of LePodcast, the boys summarize the events that will be taking place during the All-Star weekend, more specifically the 3 Point Contest, and how it feels the NBA “Cheaped” out by selecting Julius Randle to participate in it. Next, they do a blind draft, where Zee and Hoop both know the topic they’re supposed to draft their team around while Sainey has no clue, and has to try and draft a team that matches the same criteria placed and see how his team matches up with the other two.
