Tree Spirits
Hybrids in Folklore
This episode is about hybrids. No I'm not talking about the car lol. By Hybrids I mean a combination of human and animal like the mermaid or Harpie. I share three hybrid stories in this episode. The Minotaur and the labyrinth, Pan and the Nymph Syrinx, and the deer woman. Enjoy!
Changelings
Hi all! This episode is about changelings. These creatures are a huge part of fairy folklore and have been around for centuries. I have compiled a few stories of allegedly true encounters with these beings.
Creepy Christmas Folktales
This episode is about a few of the more creepier Christmas characters that have been used in many cultures to scare children into behaving. Gryla from Iceland, the Kallikantzaroi from Greece, and the infamous Krampus.

Baba Yaga and La Befana

The Wendigo and The Thunderbird
This episode is about the Native Legends of the Wendigo and the Thunderbird. They are fascinating and are backed up with eye witness encounters. I apologize for my pronunciation. It was pretty terrible in some parts. The moral of the story is to not go against the rules of morality. Selfishness and greed will lead you down a dark path. Enjoy!

This episode is about the Leanan Sidhe or Dark Muse, The Gananagh or love talker, and the story of Tam Lin. Feel free to email talesoffaeandfolklore@gmail.com if you would like to share any stories of your own. You can also listen to this podcast at talesoffaeandfolklore.wordpress.com
