The Hair & Barber Council & Salon Owners United David Drew and Collette Osbourne have joined the racket!
They want to be gatekeepers of the rules and regulations. It's in their interest to make as many rules as possible. They are taking part in an campaign of divide and conquer. Why do they want to start a campaign to blame an individual for others failing salon businesses? Why punch down? Surely you should be focussed on what sinister plot the government have planned for the industry.

The idea that a young person who is starting on their hair and beauty career is responsible for Established salon businesses going under is absolutely ridiculous.

58 Defy and Survive

Todays show is about What you have to do to survive, sometimes you have to defy to survive.

Defy and survive is about ignoring the shills that pretend to be your support network. They aren't your supporters. They do not pay you or give you any value for their "membership prices" they in fact take your money pretend to act in your interest and then sell your data to big brands. In addition to attacking your sector they take your £80 membership and they use it to petition the government to increase the red tape and bureaucracy. UnLike the h&b council and salon owners united, small & medium enterprise does not have the will or the budgets to deal with more admin. All we want is less interference in our hair and beauty businesses. Not more. To live tomorrow sometimes you have to Defy to Survive.

Joe alerted Aaron to the latest LinkedIn BS. Many in the sector are using petitions to attempt to petition the government to bail them out even though in the same petition they highlight the contempt for government.

If the bail everyone out, they bail no-one out. This is basic inflation and proof that those asking for this cannot do maths.

53 - Media Malware

The definition of Malware is thus: noun
software that is specifically designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a computer system.
Now think of Media Malware is the programming of your software (brain) by Social Media, Mainstream news Media to create an irrational and hysterical response.

2 ways to defeat media malware:
1. Do not watch it. (or listen to it)
2. Stop paying for it.

The answer is not as simple as "I'll just download anti virus software to protect me." that's usually a scam in software and now a prevalent scam in life. Vaccines are medicine for healthy people.

The funding by our government of the vax rollout, is a great risk free business model for Pharmaceutical companies. Government says "here you go have billions of pounds to develop a new treatment to defend us against nature." "And once you have developed it we will buy it off you for top price and force all of the plebs to take it."

Money printing keeps this scam going with literally zero accountability to those making the decisions. CONVID-19 is literally "Quantitive easing for the pharmaceutical industry" yes Bitcoin fixes this.

Now we have to look at the current PETROL & GAS Crisis as being another example of the media virus which is programming people to react HYSTERICALLY. Like the hysteria surrounding SARS-COV 2.

51 At home with the Bin Ladens

Today we look back at the previous weeks news, from Emma Raducanu, Debbie Harry and The MET gala. We talk about the 9/11 atrocities and learn that Joe did hair at a wedding in Egypt where he inadvertently met the Bin Ladens.

42 - The Confidence to make Mistakes

It takes confidence to make a mistake, it takes courage to learn from it.

As we wake up nursing our hangovers, the confidence the country found has now waned. It is now licking its wounds after the English national football team came so close to winning it's first trophy in 55 years.

The idea you are only as good as your last result is true, what's also true is that those in the hair and beauty industry are rated every hour. Every hour we risk our reputation and credibility trying to do the right thing by our customers. A moral dilemma.
Which reminds me of a famous Albert Einstein quote. "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

What happens when you have a bad result or client how do you drag yourself out of it?

What lessons can we learn from serial second placer Gareth Southgate and the England football team?

How do we regain confidence after a knockback? Whether that be a cut, colour or service. Bad customers experiences feel awful, where do we get the courage to continue? How do you take control of a mistake, because if you never make a mistake you never learn.

Joe had a near death experience in Wembley on Sunday evening and shares a story with us so exciting the dogs burst into a chorus of snoring. Confidence in yourself is a super power.

Apprenticeships: Today's show is about Joe's response to the issue Edward brings up in Episode 41a.

The question I asked was “Why is nobody hiring Apprentices?

One of the problems as Edward says is that the government need to do more to allay the fears of the low income families. They fear that by sending the youngest members of the family into low paid work. They will be worse off.

Currently, If a kid joins a salon as an apprentice and earns £100 per week. This is considered family income and low income parents have there benefits adjusted.

If the kids gets educated at a hair college and have no income. The parents don’t have their benefits adjusted.

The Result is pushing those kids from low income families into the centralised college system suffocated by rules, regulations and other external issues that lead to the suffocation of the salon apprentice system.

The Problem with Apprentices

The question I asked was "Why is nobody hiring Apprentices?

One of the problems as Edward says is that the government need to do more to allay the fears of the low income families. They fear that by sending the youngest members of the family into low paid work. They will be worse off.

Currently, If a kid joins a salon as an apprentice and earns £100 per week. This is considered family income and low income parents have there benefits adjusted.

If the kids gets educated at a hair college and have no income. The parents don't have their benefits adjusted.

What will be the long term effect of this on the hair and beauty sector?

We have spoke for a while about unintended consequences of government bureaucrats trying to do right by everyone and thus by itself creates these long term issues.

Will the unintended consequence of these policies funnel all youngsters into college and away from the more traditional Professional Salon Apprenticeship? (that most argue is the most successful way of vocational profession.)

Which was responsible for Joe, Aaron and many other top names in the industry breaking through and forging their own paths.

As a free market maximalist I do know one thing and that is "too many rules spoil the broth!" or something like that.
