This episode is rich with new knowledge, (Ancient Phoenicia), typical comments (Erin is unwilling to give anyone a ride in her car) plus a little bit of fun (George the Poltergeist).

Louisiana is cajun country!

Full of spooky bayous, incredible food and hundreds of ghost stories, it may not surprise our listeners that there were plenty of urban legends to focus on in the incredible state of Louisiana.

Where else but Kentucky can you find an Urban Legend with its own Facebook Page?  Tune in for the Goat Man of Kentucky, sometimes referred to as the Pope Lick Monster.

Kansas - famous for its University, The Wizard of Oz and (Erin's favorite) the TV show Supernatural.

Who would have thought a quiet, sleepy, little town might be harboring one of the seven earth-side entrances to Hell...

Despite Erin insisting that Iowa is a flyover state, Amanda shares the most famous Iowan urban legend- the story of the black angels of Iowa.

Like a few previous episodes, Indiana was rich with Urban Legends, and it was hard for Tammy to choose just one.  She decided to go full on creepy with the mystery of the 100 steps cemetery.  (No, it's not a Nancy Drew story.  Erin thought so too but she checked.)

Due to some technical difficulties (Thanks Coronavirus for making us record via distance again!) this episode is a little bit shorter than most, but just as sweet!

Chicago, Illinois is one of the cousins' favorite cities, so the chance to talk through The Devil Baby of Hull House, and the feminist agenda was a perfect fit for Erin!

Despite Erin's assurances that Idaho is most famous for Potatoes, Amanda takes us through two Urban Legends from this state... that is, if it even exists... ;)

Beautiful Hawaii.  The imagery of palm trees, Dole pineapples, and stunning beaches comes to mind.  

Hawaii also has an incredible history, especially the stories of her indigenous people.  As the girls cover Hawaii's most prevalent Urban Legend, Tammy shares the fascinating tale of the night marchers.

Far from the beautiful plantations, or the Garden of Good and Evil, Georgia's most infamous urban legend leads Erin, Tammy and Amanda to a placid little lake with a big secret.

Oh Florida.  Home of Disney world, retirement communities, Daytona (of both racer and Cheerleading Nationals fame), the infamous Florida Man... and... Skunk Apes?

A true urban legend, this episode is lighthearted and silly.  Tammy gets the giggles, which is a surprise for Erin and Amanda, and there are lots of helpful tips for those who might want to experience a Skunk Ape sighting.

The girls were delighted to come across an urban legend that actually didn't terrify them.  So far, Delaware is still allowed to remain on the "Places to travel," list for the cousins' girls trips.

Erin couldn't wait to tackle Arkansas.  Not only did her best friend live there for a while (Hi Meagan!) but the girls took a trip a few summers ago to Eureka Springs!

However, the Arkansas urban legend was a little darker than Erin anticipated...
