Syracuse native, SU Alum, and former professional football player Robert Drummond joins us to speak on the life in Syracuse during a pandemic. He speaks on his thoughts of the current climate of society along with how American politics might've changed for the better or worse. Robert gives us a reflection of his life growing up in Central New York and the path he took for success in the collegiate level of athletics as well as professional. He is a man that has lived many lifetimes and wishes to use his lessons on life to teach the next generations after him. A great influence on CNY culture speaks his truth. 

Troopjaye and Devaughn return with the special guest Jaleel Campbell. Jaleel is a very esteemed artist from Syracuse, New York. We take a deep dive into Jaleel's accomplishments in the year of 2020, along with what goals he plans to achieve in the near future. Jaleel is a man of many talents; very seasoned in the arts of music, illustration, doll making, and graphic design. We discuss inspiration, artistic favorites, the challenges that creatives have went through during the Covid-19 period; and how instantly a somber state can turn into a bright one. Jaleel Campbell is a very special and iconic man and he will take what he deserves. Trust his process. 

Hip hop artist J Shaw joins the Salt City Podcast and we discuss the difficulties of starting a career in this era. We also discuss the culture of music and arts in Syracuse, New York along with the his aspirations and goals within the music industry.  J Shaw and I exchange stories and thoughts about the current climate of hip hop and the elements one needs to succeed in this craft. We also play and listen to two new tracks (Faucet & We Know) released by J Shaw this year and we speak about his mindset throughout the creation of the songs.
