My guest is Dr. Stacy from FoodTherapyMD.com. She completed her medical training and residency at UCLA Medical Center. She had a private practice in Los Angeles, but after nearly two decades, Dr. Stacy realized that she was participating in a failing medical system. Her patients were on increasing numbers of prescription drugs, but the cycle of debilitating chronic illness and death wasn’t changed in any way.
She decided to educate herself more on the body and nutrition then began to treat her patients using plant-based nutritional protocols that focused on the inflammatory basis of disease and the healing, anti-inflammatory properties of whole plant foods.
She says “Just as doctors prescribe drugs for particular illnesses, your nutritional prescription should carry the same specificity but without the side effects!”
