Luke 14:25-35 You Cannot Be A Disciple Jesus Christ is looking for fully committed disciples who put Him first, forsake their own desires, Kingdom and renounce all they have so that they may become useful to God in the building of His.

No Excuse! Luke 14:15-24 There is one invitation you do not want to reject—the invitation to salvation! There's simply no excuse good enough for rejecting Jesus and His invitation to eternal life. That would be foolish

Luke 14:1-14 Dining With Jesus

When Jesus is invited to a dinner party on the Sabbath He finds great fault with the heart attitudes of His host and the guests. Several teaching moments arise that will again bring the Jewish religious leaders to be silenced

Jesus's loving arms are here right now for us to reach out to if we are willing. Jesus will never let us down.

Luke 13:22-30 Strive to Enter

 When asked if many would be saved, Jesus turns the question into something much more pointed—will YOU be saved? This is the big question for everyone in those days and even today.

Luke 13:10-21 Compare the Kingdom

The Kingdom of God came near wth the appearance of its King—Jesus Christ. But this King's Kingdom is not what many expected or even wanted. Nevertheless, this everlasting Kingdom will grow into something greater than anyone could ever imagine. 

Luke 13:1-9 Repent or Perish  The message is clear from the mouth of Jesus, repent or perish. God is gracious, every second that passes by is an act of mercy allowing time for a sinner to repent, lest they perish.

Luke 12:13-21 Rich Toward God

 The foolish ones of this world are those who love the riches of the world. However, those who are wise are those who are rich towards God.

Luke 12:1-12 Whom Do You Fear?  It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Genuine faith in Christ is the only protection displayed by repentance for sin and a life of obedience to the God who is willing to save you.

Jesus is the Certain Sign that people need but He's the One that people often miss. They want other signs, lesser signs, all the while missing out on the only One that matters.

Luke 11:14-28 Victorious Christ

 Jesus Christ rules and reigns overall including every demonic spirit. Whoever is not for Him is against Him but those who hear His words and obey them will be blessed!

Luke 10:25-42 Loving and Learning Jesus teaches how the people of God should live through the telling of a potent parable to the Jews. We then learn more about what it means to honour Christ in our lives and it just may be different to what we think.

Luke 10:1-24 Go! and Rejoice!  As the Kingdom of God extends, so does the need for workers. Jesus sends out 70 disciples to go and pass on HIs peace, to heal the sick, and proclaim the Kingdom of God. Upon their return they're given the ultimate reason to rejoice as Jesus Himself rejoices in the work of His Father.

Luke 9:51-62 Divine Devotion As Jesus begins His journey to Jerusalem, we see His absolute steadfast devotion to building the Kingdom of God. Jesus' devotion is immovable and He calls His followers to have the same type of "divine devotion".

Luke 9:37-50 Understanding the Kingdom Jesus continues to reveal more and more about His identity as Christ and King. As He does, we find that those around Him are wrestling with what it means to follow Him and live as people of the new and eternal Kingdom.

Luke 9:23-36 Glorious Christ Living for Christ requires denial of self but it will all be worth it because a day is coming when He'll return in glory! A great and fearful day it will be!

Luke 9:10-22 Who is Jesus? Luke is writing the gospel to give the readers certainty about the true identity of Jesus Christ. In this passage, we begin to see the disciples' understanding grow regarding the true nature and identity of Jesus Christ

Luke 9:1-6 Spreading the Gospel

 Jesus gives power and ability to His disciples to show that God's Kingdom has truly come near. Though not all will receive it, the message of eternal life starts to be spread throughout the world.

Luke 8:40-56 Powerful Jesus Jesus Christ has power beyond limits. And when Jesus is present in someone's life all things are possible. What might He do in your life today?

With the coming of Jesus and His mighty works, we can know for sure that the Kingdom of God has come! With Jesus, the demons tremble and the captives are set free!

Christian hope is different to all the rest; it's certain, imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. Salvation is ours all because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.  

Friday 2023 Isaiah 53:5

Jesus Christ took the place of sinners on the cross. He bore our sin in His body so that we could be justified in the sight of God by faith in Him. The atonement is a monumental display of the love and mercy of God towards sinners and worthy of deep contemplation by all. 

Luke3:21-38 Definitely Divine  Luke has given specific details to Theophilus to prove beyond doubt that Jesus is definitely the Son of God. In this passage, it is confirmed again by the testimony of John, by the Holy Spirit, by the voice of His Father, and even by history itself. Luke has given us these details that we may know for sure that Jesus is definitely divine.
