Episode 55: Business Mindset and Yoga with guest Jackie Murphy
In this episode of the BEYOND YOGA TEACHER TRAINING Podcast, Host Sandy Raper has a conversation with guest Jackie Murphy about cultivating a business mindset as a yoga teacher to grow and expand beyond limiting beliefs and obstacles in order to create the teaching pathway you desire that aligns within the service and practice of yoga.  Jackie Murphy, the business coach just for yoga teachers and studio owners. "I first started out in this industry teaching group classes, hustling 24/7 to barely making enough money to pay rent. I learned the hard way that being a talented yoga teacher wasn’t enough to build a lifelong profitable career. I saw many successful yoga teachers out there, but no one was sharing how to actually build a profitable business. I decided to make sure that every yoga teacher has access to the most effective marketing, sales, and business foundation strategy in our industry. Plus the most effective tools to rewire your brain to create the necessary CEO mindset that yields consistent cash flow." Episode 16: Yoga Off the Mat with Guest Laurel Attanasio
In this episode of the BEYOND YOGA TEACHER TRAINING, Sandy has a conversation with guest, Laurel Attanasio about creative ways to share and teach yoga outside of the traditional settings.   Laurel is a yoga gypsy who loves exploring land and sea. She has always had the travel bug but only fell in love with yoga 15 years ago. After completing her Master’s Degree in Business, while working full-time, she knew she needed a shift mentally and physically. At that point, she stepped into a yoga class and onto her mat; yoga changed her life forever. Within a year, she completed her 200-hour training, and then within another, she left her job to pursue a career in yoga. Shortly after, she completed an additional 300 hours of training. As she began to grow her yoga business, her passion for yoga and travel began to blend together. She wanted to give her students an opportunity to live their yoga off the mat and all around the world. She feels there is no better way to live your yoga than to explore the world and become one with your surroundings. When she is not home in the Northeast of the US, her love for travel and adventure keeps her teaching yoga, paddle boarding, hiking, running, tasting healthy vegan food, and sipping wine and cocktails all over the globe. She loves helping others seek the beauty within and the beauty throughout the world.  You can find laurel at laurelattanasio.com FB: Laurel Attanasio Yoga  IG: Laurel Attanasio

I have a 17 yr old daughter with special needs and 14-year-old twin boys who keep me very happy and busy. While showing up for my family has brought me joy, it is being of service to the community that helps me follow my own unique path.  I owned and operated my own yoga studio from 2012-2014 and then expanded into health coaching.  After becoming a certified Health and Life Coach in 2017, I then completed a Mastery of Transformational Coaching certification in 2018. As a health coach, I help women heal body- image issues and transform behaviors to attract what we really want in our relationships. The sacred journey of loving who you are begins with loving the body as a miraculous instrument that expresses our creativity, our femininity, and our strength. When we completely love ourselves, we profoundly affect the relationships in our lives that truly matter. My work as a transformational health coach and yoga teacher allows me to spread the message that transformation of the mind, body, and spirit is possible, and more than that, it’s our birthright!
