- The Sapulpa Chamber Christmas Parade of Lights will start at 6pm on Saturday, and will travel the traditional route down starting at Reasors, traveling down Main Street and then Dewey Avenue, through the middle of the Chute. We have about 75 floats this year, so come on out, it’ll be a great time!

- Congrats to the Chieftain Football Team for their 56-13 win over East Central on Friday. They'll go on to play Claremore Zebras in the first round of the state playoffs! Tulsa World is calling this game the "Week 11 Must-See Game."
- It's time for everyone's favorite topic: street closures and water main repairs! Mounds Street is closed today from Taft to Cleveland for a water main repair, service should not be interrupted.
- For the intersection of Ceder and Mike, detour signs are up and the water main line install will start 11/8 at 7 am and will take a couple of days 11/10 until 5 pm (and Micah talks about Sapulpa's weird street names).
- Happy belated 50th Anniversary to Willie and Roberta Ortiz!

- Sassy Shiny is hosting a fall craft fair at the Creek County Fair Grounds in Kellyville, OK. On Saturday, September 2nd 10am-6pm; Food Trucks, handmade items, pony rides, baked goods, etc.
- Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale is happening starting on Thursday September 7th, Thursday will be books only from 10am to 6pm, Friday and Saturday will include concessions and vendors from 10am to 2pm.
- Bella Doni Home Boutique Fall Open House on Thursday, September 7th for a night of shopping and fun! New fall merchandise, food, giveaways and goodie bags will all be there! Grab a friend or two and make it a fun evening out! Event starts at 5pm and ends at 8pm Bella Doni Home Boutique is located at 1602 S Main St in Sapulpa.

Community kickoff: The annual community kickoff is this Thursday! Start time has been adjusted to 7pm. We will start inside the stadium to introduce all of the groups then move to the parking lot to enjoy games and food!

HAPPY HUMP DAY! We're here at Gasoline Alley Classics, come find out why and let's talk about what's happening in Sapulpa!
We're here at Gasoline Alley Classics, where we're preparing to shoot some great videos for this year's Tulsa Area United Way Campaign. Sapulpa has six different organizations that benefit from the TUAW campaigns, and as many of you know, every contribution you make in Sapulpa, whether through your employer or independently, goes directly to one of those organizations. We're working on some new ways to help get their message out, and we can't wait to share it with you.
In other news, summer is coming to an official end! Tomorrow is the first day of school! Sapulpa students head back to class in the morning, and we're kicking off football season already when we play Sand Springs next week.

- Akdar Car & Bike Show at the TeePee Drive-In On Saturday from 10am to sunset. There will be a silent auction, vendors and lots of fun for families. Come out and see some amazing cars. Free for spectators to walk in and view the cars. Only registered show vehicles allowed for drive-in movie.
- D-Luxe Properties is ending summer with a splash tonight at the food truck park on South Main. They'll have their amazing food truck line up as well as water activities by Okie Kidz Inflatables! The Sapulpa Fire Department will be there, get a picture on the firetruck or with the firefighters! They will also be using the fire hose for some water fun! Starts at 5:30pm. 923 S. Main Street.
- Join us for a special night of Ghost Hunting at the Sapulpa Historical Society with Oklahoma Paranormal Association! This will be a special fundraiser for the museum and is happening this Saturday August 19th 7 to 11pm. Space will be limited. Must be 18 or older to attend. $50 for a ticket. Check the museum Facebook Page for how to buy a ticket.
- Join the Sapulpa Chamber for Business Over Breakfast tomorrow, August 17th at 7:30am at First Baptist Church! The guest speaker at this free breakast is Kristi Spaethe, president & founder of the People’s Perspective. Kristi will touch base on several topics for HR that are relevant and beneficial to your business. These are always a fun networking event to meet other business professionals in our community. First Baptist Church is hosting and serving breakfast, and you'll need to register with the Chamber to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Lady Chieftains Volleyball won the silver bracket at the Coweta tournament this past weekend with Tyla Heard being named to the All-Tournament Team. They host their tourney this coming Friday and Saturday at home!
Tickets are on sale now for the brand new show at Sapulpa Community Theatre called "CAT-astrophe on Route 66"—this is another show written just for the Sapulpa Community Theatre by Valerie Speaks, who you might remember from "Miracle on Route 66." In this show, troupe of actors who have been traveling Route 66 performing a mid-1920s murder mystery in celebration of the upcoming 100th anniversary of the opening of the Mother Road. Tired and bedraggled, they roll into Sapulpa to perform it yet again, however, the vehicle containing an actor and all of their props and costumes are stranded on the road! Now what? - The Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers Market happens ever Saturday (weather permitting) in the Rumble Fish Alley, just north of Dewey between Water and Park Streets. In peak season you’ll find the best locally-ground produce and homemade soaps, breads and linens around, with vendors frequently changing throughout the summer season. The market runs from May through October and is a great way to support our local producers.
- My Story at My Table is a unique monthly women's networking gathering that combines inspirational stories from local women, a creative journaling activity, and a meal. This month's event is being held at the Sapulpa Historical Museum from 10am - 1pm and will feature Edye Ketchum, who teaches about overcoming life's storms. - It's Cruise In time again on Thursday, August 10th, 6-8pm; Always the 2nd Thursday of each month. Come and join us with your Kool ride. Bring your lawn chairs & enjoy @chuckitaxco gourmet hot dogs, soft pretzels & fresh squeezed lemonade. We’ll have some giveaway prizes to hand out too. Grab a ticket inside the store and shop for some Kool merchandise.
- The Sapulpa Main Street Route 66 Farmers Market happens ever Saturday (weather permitting) in the Rumble Fish Alley, just north of Dewey between Water and Park Streets. In peak season you’ll find the best locally-ground produce and homemade soaps, breads and linens around, with vendors frequently changing throughout the summer season. The market runs from May through October and is a great way to support our local producers.
- My Story at My Table is a unique monthly women's networking gathering that combines inspirational stories from local women, a creative journaling activity, and a meal. This month's event is being held at the Sapulpa Public Library and will feature Edye Ketchum, who teaches about overcoming life's storms. - Tomorrow is the 91st Annual Chamber Banquet, and they're repeating last year's event of a catered dinner in the middle of Dewey Ave. Because of this event, Dewey will be closed from 9am to 11pm that day. Side streets will still be fully accessible.
- Creek County Fall Free Fair is this weekend! Starting on Thursday the 22nd and going until the 25th. Heard there will be taco eating contest and pepper eating contest, and a concert by James Robert Webb on Friday at 6pm!
- Live music at Dancing Skeleton Meadery on September 23rd at 7pm, featuring an accoustic set by Jake Hand. Enjoy a glass of honey wine or craft beer. 609b S. Main Street.
