I had one month to find a job or figure out a way to monetize an income and support the family that was relying on me and I did not know what I was going to do. The purpose and benefit of My Resume Reel is to help the 20Million unemployed workers stand out among a sea of over-saturated candidates and to help recruiters shorten their recruitment time exponentially.

TS20-41 Jackie VanCampen and hyper-sexualization of our children
I grew up in a country where being sexually active at 12/13 y/o was normalized. Teen pregnancy was (and still is) a common occurrence. By the time I was 12, I was already making out with 15/16-y/o boys. By the time I was 13, I was making out with a 23-y/o man. It was normal for young women to date much older guys. Enter the movie "Cutie" on Netflix. After reading so many posts of distraught women bashing Netflix for the hypersexualization of children for the way they were promoting the show, I decided to watch it for myself and gather my own opinions on it. If all you got from it was the hypersexualization of children, you missed very significant pieces and layers, including what leads to these issues. As I watching the show, I was reminded of my own experiences and things I saw growing up.

Already a practicing Buddhist, Turīya deepened her work, found relief from her pain, and founded a new school of Buddhism that captures Buddha’s advanced Tantric teachings and puts them into an American form of Buddhism designed for the modern world. Today she teaches hundreds of people from all over the world Trikaya, her unique form of Buddhism. Turīya's story is fascinating and inspirational. Your listeners will learn original and straightforward techniques for gaining control of their time, life, and mind by releasing the mental habits that create suffering.

Indigo children are those that have been prophesied, those that will bring with them a new understanding of life. This book aims to show you who you really are. Indigo children are intuitive, bright and strong-willed. Being a teenager is challenging anyway but being an Indigo is both wonderful and extra challenging. They are often misunderstood as they don't fit into the 'one size fits all' established rules and patterns. This causes problems at school and in the home. The book explains what an Indigo is and a questionnaire to discover if a person is an Indigo and which type. You'll be fascinated to discover why Indigos are here, what qualities they have and how to help Indigos using alternative solutions to improve self image, achieve their goals, and get along with parents/teachers.

One of the things we need to understand is that change is not only necessary but imperative for our survival in and on this planet. Allow, believe, and step up for the change you seek, for we are both the question and the solution.

18-25 Flowing in Authentic Spirituality with Sara
Authentic Spirituality, what is that? is it something to do with being spiritual as opposed to doing spirituality? So many will say that they are spiritual, just like so many say their a person of God, but when it comes to action, they are far from what both represent. Whatever you are, a person of a religion, a person of faith or a person who lives in the vibration of spirituality, we must own it, be it and not speak of one thing and do another, because of we then state that we are this or that, we need to stand by it and not conveniently forget when it suits us.

19–28 Entitlement versus Gratitude
Entitlement, a belief that you are owed more than anyone else and the fact you do not care who suffers because of it. Are we entitled to live a happy productive life? Yes, we are, if we are willing to work for it. We can have all the abundance in the world if we are willing to work for it. We can be enriched and prosperous if we are willing to pay our dues along the way. BUT, we are not entitled to have what we want when we want it just because we want it, especially if it comes at the expense of the planet and people.

Social media is a wonderful platform for meeting people and sharing what you have got. I have met some of the most wonderful people over these last few years through social media that are supportive and have become part of the family. However, there are warnings with social media, and that is, do not cross the line, respect and at all times, holding back is needed, for if we just blurt out everything we feel in the moment we can offend very easily. I know you want to respond to that Tweet, that comment, but remember everyone is going to see it, and as we have witnessed, it can destroy you.

18-16 Life is a Gift open it up and enjoy the present
No matter which way you look at it, life is a gift, what we do with that present is up to us, for we are the ones who open it. There is not one person today that has not gone through something awful and challenging, but how we go through it is our life’s challenge and only by walking on the fires of pain and anguish do we really understand the gift of living.

18-22 Does Childhood Neglect and Trauma make Villains?
When you look at leaders who become dictators and narcissistic egomaniacs, do they have in common a traumatic childhood in common? We see in adults today an insecurity that very often stems from an unloving childhood, it can come in abuse both psychical and mental and also in a  form of neglect. We know children develop their empathy frontal lobe early on in childhood, and if they are not shown love and how to care for others, animals and nature, they become very immersed in self, the self-importance, self-obsessed, self-motivated, everything self and very often at the expense of everyone around them. 18-10 Eternal Optimism but running out of Enthusiasm?
Sometimes those dark thoughts come creeping in, they take away your enthusiasm for your optimism. How do we stop that from happening? I am the eternal optimist, always believing that somehow it will work out, that I am meant to go this way, meant to take this journey. Then something happens and you are challenged once again, and you wonder about it all. I am very enthusiastic about what I do, what vision I see for the future, what possibilities lay before me, and I take action to put them in the process, then it is STOP, not now.

GV20-07 Veteran Sergeant Major Tom Satterly on All Secure Foundation
Our Global Veterans with Sara Troy and her guest Tom Satterly, on air from February 11th All Secure: A Special Operations Soldier's Fight to Survive on the Battlefield and the Homefront By Tom Satterly Tom Satterly, served in the Army twenty-five years, He is author of the new book,  All Secure: A Special Operations Soldier's Fight to Survive on the Battlefield and the Homefront. As a senior non-commissioned officer of Delta Force, the most elite and secretive special operations unit in the U.S. military, Command Sergeant Major Tom Satterly fought some of this country's most fearsome enemies. One of the most highly regarded special operations soldiers in American military history shares his war stories and personal battle with PTSD. Over the course of twenty years and thousands of missions, he's fought desperately for his life, rescued hostages, killed and captured terrorist leaders, and seen his friends maimed and killed around him.  All Secure is in part Tom's journey into a world so dark and dangerous that most Americans can't contemplate its existence. It recounts what it is like to be on the front lines with one of America's most highly trained warriors. As action-packed as any fiction thriller, All Secure is an insider's view of "The Unit."  Tom is a legend even among other Tier One special operators. Yet the enemy that cost him three marriages, and ruined his health physically and psychologically, existed in his brain. It nearly led him to kill himself in 2014, but for the lifeline thrown to him by an extraordinary woman, it might have ended there. Instead, they took on Satterly's most important mission-saving the lives of his brothers and sisters in arms who are killing themselves at a rate of more than twenty a day.  Told through Satterly's firsthand experiences, it also weaves in the reasons-the bloodshed, the deaths, the intense moments of sheer terror, the survivor's guilt, depression, and substance abuse-for his career-long battle against the most insidious enemy of all: Post Traumatic Stress. With the help of his wife, he learned that by admitting his weaknesses and faults he sets an example for other combat veterans struggling to come home.

YH 20-05 Childhood shots and the Babies Immune system with Mary Tocco
Mary says, A question I frequently pose at lectures and in conversations is, “Are we born flawed”? “Did God forget to equip the human body with a fully functioning immune system capable of fighting and overcoming illness”? “Is man fully capable of determining what is needed for human survival”? Every year, things that were considered true in the medical and scientific community prove to be false. Our understanding of the human body is minimal. Humans and animals have lived on Earth for thousands of years, so what role has medical intervention really played? Although, I don’t have all the answers, I believe asking these hard questions is important. 3

YH 20-03 Think Before You Get the Childhood Shots! with Mary Tocco.
on Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Mary Tocco,  American children are the most vaccinated in the world getting 2 X other countries, and yet, 54% of our kids are suffering with chronic illnesses including, ADD, ADHD, Autism, learning problems, anxiety, depression, diabetes, asthma, gut disorders, seizure disorders and many other neurological problems that were NOT prevalent just 25 years ago!  What has changed?  In 1986, vaccine manufactures were getting sued so often that they threatened to stop making vaccines. The government stepped in and passed a law that you cannot sue them for liability. The flood gates of new vaccines hit the market, and they have nothing to lose but much money to gain! Vaccines have been fast-tracked into the children schedule because of many reasons which we will discuss here today.

20-02. 2020 Pearls of Wisdom
2020 what kind of year will it be for the world? already war is raising its ugly head and the fires in Australia are destroying life and earth, what else will we have to face? What ever we have to face this year let us do it with kindness, a caringness, a sense of community. We have lived in judgment for centuries, all it does is condemn and breed hate, how does love have a chance in that arena? We start with caring and showing compassion for each other, we can condemn an action but need to understand why it is being done in the first place. Maybe if we choose to hear each other, listen, learn and care about what we are saying, we can bring some kindness into the mix and understand the why, for not knowing is why we constantly repeat the bad stuff.

Welcome to 2020 your Self Discovery
Well we are at a new year, what wonders will 2020 bring? Through all the years I have been interviewing on podcasts, one thing is for sure, we are all ready for change. Change is within our grasp, for we are the change we seek. Life is about tuning in to ones inner self and living from the inside out. Action and interaction is key if we wish to make those changes as is sharing the stories of those who embraced change. The Choice is ours to make, are we going to live in the past of pain and doctrine or are we going to allow ourselves to open up to what is possible if we choose to step out of anguish and step into the joy of life.

19-36 Sara’s Pearls of Wisdom….Time Use
Time, we all live on the same clock, 60 mins in an hour, 24 hours to a day, 7 days a week 4 weeks to a month and 12 months to a year. How we use that time changes according to demands on your life, experiences, and time management. Even though we have devices that work for us and that are supposed to make life easier for us, we all still to be fighting the clock. There never it seems to be enough time, yet we should be able to have more time on our hands because of technology. Are we expecting too much of ourselves and not managing our time well enough and not dividing our time where we can dedicate time for us, for work, family and time to give away.

I compassionately observe my thoughts, and I lovingly turn my total attention to the present moment whenever I catch myself drifting off to the past or future in my mind.  I now create a loving reality within, and am open to receiving love on all levels without!

19-44 Working Seniors with Sara Troy

So many wonderful souls have made their self-discovery and have found a meaningful purpose later if life, and the work they do is a gift to those who are ready to hear and apply the wisdom. I have had the honour of sharing them with you here on Self Discovery Media.
