Did you know that humans are the only species that can observe an environment and extract the negatives? A deer cannot look into a field and acknowledge the absence of trees, it only can acknowledge that there IS grass. We as humans have a gift to acknowledge the negative. Whether you capitalize on that gift to plant a tree or suffocate in the absence of oxygen... that’s on you.
Risks - when NOT to take them. What do you value more: your money or your health? Unfortunately, without good health, it is quite difficult to earn or enjoy money! Keep your priorities straight - no way car maintenance is more important than your mind and body's. Not to mention, whether you decide to invest early or pay it back later, you're going to have to pony up either way... So, every passing day you choose between these risks. Now which will it be?
The first client of many to truly inspire the need and founding for Health Possible Inc., Ashley (Hall) Burkholder. Ashley was a young, extremely hard working and self-sufficient college student, pursuing her Bachelors in Physical Education, living on her own, and waiting tables at Buffalo Wild Wings in Wilmington, NC. After many under-the-rug complimentary personal training sessions, Ashley left an envelope for Sara at the fitness center months later with $150.00 cash she secretly saved for months and a thank you letter. Ashley has the character, pride, and resilience that Health Possible seeks in its clients today. Hear how Ashley is doing almost 5 years later in this interview and as a new mom.
Do you do things for or with others out of guilt? Have you ever considered that by telling other people and things no, you’re actually telling yourself YES?! Time management and focus because effortless when we prioritize, and we only choose to be where we WANT to be.
What are you willing to accept or not accept about yourself? Eleanor Roosevelt said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” Our feelings of strength, weakness, superiority, or inferiority are all validation of good and bad days mixed with the emotional grooming others influence us with. Would you feel empowered to understand the difference between a long term victimized mentality versus an event where we are the victim? This is one of the many ways to meet people where they are, as well as only uplift them.
Can you identify whether you feel more pushed or pulled to accomplish current commitments in your life? We are motivated in our lives by our fears, passions, hates, and loves. To live on the path of purpose and love though, we must be MORE pulled than pushed.
Are you a person who has always felt or never felt your purpose? Thankfully and psychologically the old saying is true, “Seeing isn’t believing, believing is seeing.” So... if you had the choice, which is it going to be?
Why is it so difficult to break our bad habits? Well first, don't harp on these failures since you're probably not trying to break the GOOD ones, making failure of breaking bad ones our only focus point. The "path of least resistance" is real and something business owners and consumers have an obligation to both provide and seek. I'll open with this... life is hard enough as it is, let's not make it any harder than it needs to be.
Are you a person who listens to understand or listens to respond? Next time you are in a debate, want a person to let you in, or let you help them, remember this: Humanity is like a coin; If neither side lands, you’re moving together. The most important factor though, is realizing which side you, and your intentions, are living on.

Don’t believe that everyone on Earth wants to improve their life? The homeless, the rich, the average — believe it or not, they do. The philosphy we operate by is not a matter of who, but a matter of...
