Episode 1- Zoe Schroeder Nutrition

Episode 1- Zoe Schroeder Nutrition

Zoe has always had an interest in fitness, but after struggling with her own weight gain (and subsequent weight loss attempts, different diets, sketchy "fat burning" supplements, and strict meal plans) in college, she switched her major to nutrition and loved the process of applying what she was learning in her classes about nutritional sciences, the human body, and why we need what we do , she applied the principles to herself, as a sort of practical application case study. That is truly where Zoe's passion for nutrition and fueling the body stemmed from. Fast forward a few years after becoming and working as a Registered Dietitian in several different areas (in-patient clinical, out-patient for hospitals, contracted with the Air Force, and one-on-one nutrition counseling for weight loss), Zoe decided to start her business to help other women do the exact same thing she was able to do: lose fat and keep it off in a healthy and sustainable way. Zoe counts herself as blessed to have the platform and opportunity to help so many clients reach their goals without extreme dieting, giving up their favorite foods, or endless cardio.

Episode 28- Michelle DeWolf Health Coach

Episode 28- Michelle DeWolf Health Coach

I have been health coaching since 2017 and have an 80% success rate of my clients meeting or exceeding their goals. Health coaching was born out of my culinary school to answer the questions my culinary clients had always been asking. I started on a Master's program to become a Registered Dietitian and found myself in a hospital setting right away working on low-sodium diets for a sick population. While I know this is valuable work to be sure, I really wanted to work with people long before they found themselves in a hospital. This is where things pivoted to Health Coaching. This is the job I saw myself doing. Back in 2017, it was not a movement yet. Today my practice is about keeping it real in this saturated health & wellness world we find ourselves in. I empower people to make dis-ease less welcome in their bodies. Making lifestyle changes and using food as medicine to correct our habits when we get off track. Together we build a full toolbox to draw from for our own self-care, nutrition, and well-being no matter what life throws at us.

Episode 24- Lunaescent

Episode 24- Lunaescent

Raana had a very non-linear life! As a child, she constantly moved between two continents. She experienced a revolution and a brutal war. She started multiple businesses, designed clothes, modeled, went to law school, worked as an attorney, and eventually started her own law practice. She is a mother of two teenagers and a wife. She cares about the environment and women/human rights. She loves smart design and architecture. She believes that small decisions can lead to big changes.

Raana has always been a problem solver and inventor. As a preteen, shehad a notebook where she would draw and describe her latest inventions. It was called "My Book of Inventions." When her son was diagnosed with eczema and she could not find a suitable applicator to apply his steroid medication, her inner inventor kicked into action. She needed to know exactly how much medicine she was putting on his skin. However, using her fingers for application made it impossible to measure how much was getting absorbed by her fingers and how much medicine he was receiving. To make matters worse, the steroidal cream caused dermatitis on her own fingers which made everyday tasks painful. At the same time, she was frustrated by how inefficient her fingers were for applying the skincare products (especially oils and serums) and how much product was being wasted. These two personal needs, plus hearing similar stories from others, are what led to LUNAESCENT. After several redesigns, LUNAESCENT is now a multipurpose and versatile tool that is ideal for effective and hygienic application of skincare, as well massaging, depuffing, and more.

Episode 23- Dr.Natalie Dereka

Episode 23- Dr.Natalie Dereka

I started my business after feeling like my hands were tied working in settings where I couldn't teach postpartum moms how to prevent or reverse problems naturally and as a whole person. And there was a trend of women feeling alone, embarrassed and ashamed from pelvic floor issues that started after giving birth like leaking pee, feeling weak or experiencing discomfort in their pelvic floor after giving birth. No one was talking how these were common but not normal. Too many women felt alone for me not to try to find ways to spread the word.

I also noticed this other trend taking place once we started working together. A shift happened in these women's confidence levels and I was blown away by how empowering they became in their life just by taking control of their pelvic floor. They would tell me stories about how their relationship with their partner deepened, how they were more present at work and with their kids and that they were making goals they would have never previously dreamed of pursuing. These were women who once accepted their pelvic floor and health issues as their ‘new normal’ since giving birth.

When we find out that we are not alone in our problems and that there is a solution that’s achievable, it is such a relief. I have seen so many unnecessary surgeries and health issues that could have been prevented with the right education. I set out to make it a goal to help women reach their fullest potential. If I could help them reach their health goals, they could fully pour into their family and those around them.

We all have pelvic floors. We poop, pee, bend, lift, laugh, have sex and use this part of our body daily. But it’s never talked about in terms of how to keep it healthy. So I love creating a space where women can come and feel safe while diving deeper into this part of their body to appreciate and know it well. I watch them gain a confidence that plays out in various parts of their life and I see this transformation take place where they become inspired, encouraged and stronger; physically, mentally and emotionally. They start to worry less and say yes to more.

I started my business traveling around San Diego seeing women in their homes. I wasn’t able to reach a lot of people this way and I wasn’t able to fully pour into my current patients the way I wanted because I was getting spread thin. “How could I create a system that empowers every woman I work with the ability to have all the resources and tools to take control of their body and health while taking the guesswork out of it?” This led me to create the Holistic Pelvic Coaching program. Women come into the program to get help with their pelvic floor and come out knowing exactly what their body needs to feel it’s healthiest.

Episode 19- Nourished with Becca

Episode 19- Nourished with Becca

Meet Becca, I’ve been a health coach and personal trainer for 5+ years. It all started with my own personal journey of growing up with super painful periods every month. In high school I would end up in the nurses office every month with severe cramps. I thought my only option was birth control so I went on it for 4 years, only to find out that it did not actually fix my hormone problems, but just masked the symptoms. So when I came off everything came back and worse. I had painful periods, was exhausted all the time, constantly felt bloated, hormonal acne…and ultimately just didn’t feel like myself. I went to my doctor and my labs came back “normal”, I was told this was just part of being a woman. I didn’t take no for an answer, I tried diet after diet searching for an answer. Once I dove more into female physiology, how nutrition and metabolism impact hormones everything started to click. I began to heal naturally and my symptoms were finally getting better after 4 years of seeing different doctors and holistic practitioners. Now I help women take a metabolic healing approach to hormone balancing. I help women ditch the restrictive dieting lifestyle and understand how to fuel their body based on hormonal changes throughout the month. I run a 6 month 1:1 coaching program, small group coaching and have self paced courses.

Meet Christine, For years, I struggled to find my place in the legal field, and at times, I even consider quitting the practice of law entirely. For one reason or another, there seemed to be few women attorneys willing to mentor an inexperienced and terrified new attorney.
As I struggled through the learning process, figuring things out by pure trial and error, I often wished I could go back and share my newfound insight with that terrified first year I had been. I created All Rise Mentors as a way to do just that - to demystify to process, share tried and true tools that worked for me and to answer all the questions every new attorney has and even the ones they don't yet know to ask.

Episode 17- Be Momager

Meet Annie, who moved to the U.S. 8 years ago, leaving my native country Ukraine with my 5 year-old daughter. Soon after we settled, I helped get her signed with one of the top child acting agencies and our Hollywood journey began!

Other Moms were fascinated with my success and began asking for help to get similar results for their kids. I knew a few pieces of advice wouldn’t be very helpful, therefore I created a step-by-step program that helps Moms launch their kids careers appropriately. It a step by step system, that help them choose the right acting school, create portfolio, land representation. build their networks, avoid scams, make smart calculated risks, minimize chances of mistakes or money losses. I teach moms how to be managers for their kids. Because only mom really cares about her child’s well-being, mental health, happiness and success.

Over the years I’ve successfully coached hundreds of women on how to manage their kids' acting careers. Their kids have landed acting roles in series and films on Netflix, HBO, Amazon and CBS projects. They’ve also landed roles in NBA, Walmart, LG, Janie & Jack, Citi Bank, Grubhub and Nike commercials.
I have helped to develop momagers who have children win at many major film festivals, including Festival de Cannes.

I love what I do because I help Moms create the best future for their kids and themselves. Full of achievements, bright moments, artistic expression and great possibilities!

NYFW Special- The Stil Trust

The Stīl Trust was created by Asbasia Mikhail, who is a busy mom and a busy Emergency physician who always wanted to look her best. She had a closet full of clothes but just didn't have the time or the know-how to put outfits together that would complement her body shape (especially after having had two kids of her own). She consistently struggled with trying to figure out 'what to wear'. After consulting with many of her friends and colleagues, she realized that there were so many people who shared the same struggle. That is what compelled her to create The Stīl Trust which is an online personalized styling service that virtually connects busy, style-minded individuals to expert stylists who will curate outfits for them based on their taste preferences, body shape, and budget. Our goal is to get you looking and feeling your best while taking the struggle out of figuring out 'what to wear' and providing confidence in every outfit.
What's even more exciting is that our stylists will use items you already own to customize your looks. So, you decide whether you want all new items, or you wish to use items you already own. There is no obligation to buy anything. We even offer the world's first patented STYLEMATCH service in which our stylists will customize looks for that item in your closet that fits you perfectly and you have been wanting to wear but you just don't know to style/match. We even have special perks when you sign up as a member. The best perk is that you'll get your own virtual closet in which you'll be able to upload pictures of items you already own. Your stylist will be able to refer to your virtual closet anytime they are styling you and you will be able to access your virtual closet anytime you're wondering what you should wear for the day.
The service is so easy to use, it's like having a personal stylist at your fingertips. You make real connections with real-life personal stylists. There are different memberships based on your different styling needs. We have styling services that are 'a la carte', and we have yearly memberships where you can meet with a stylist a few times a year to once a month or even up to twice a month. It all depends on what your fashion needs are.
