This is the second part of SpeakEasy Digital Discussion, where SBID CEO & Founder, Dr Vanessa Brady OBE is joined by Tom Marquardt, Founder and President | Marquardt+ and Matthew Barusch, Government Affairs and Advocacy Manager | Council of Interior Qualifications (CIDQ). Tom and Matthew join Vanessa to share their insights on the regulation of the Interior Design industry and new legislation recognising the need for both public protection and the protection of industry standards by way of industry regulation.
Note: The CIDQ qualification is for interior design, therefore at Marquardt+, while the strategists, graphic/communications designers and all other non-interior design staff are not qualified, anyone working on an interiors project is either a qualified interior designer or architect with registration.
