Episode 130 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Flying Rods
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 130! This week's episode is about rods.  No, not that kind of rod, you perv. Get your mind out of the gutter... actually, please don't. You do you! We talk about "flying rods", also known as "skyfish" or "skyfish rods". These interesting little things occasionally and unexpectedly appear in videos and photographs taken by people all over the world. Some people think they are some sort of animal, or even aliens. Others believe there is a much more practical explanation. Listen, and come to your own conclusion. We also talk about some cool space-related news and review the album “The Art of a Maniac”, from Canadian thrashers, Tymo. Thanks for your ongoing support and for listening each week. Please don't forget to review us on GoodPods, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever else you consume podcasts. Scatterbrain Podcast Presents - Vol. 3: Epic Anger 77
Scatterbrain Podcast Presents - Vol. 3: Epic Anger 77 was recorded in 2015. It is various guitar riffs recorded from 2012 - 2015, edited together to create one long composition -  the drum track recorded in one take in September, 2015.  This is one of our listeners playing the guitar, drums, and doing the vocals. It is not meant to be anything but one person's spontaneous creation for musical therapy. Recorded at a dark time in his life and in a state of epic anger, it is truly raw ( some of the drums don't really match up with the guitar ), so the artist wishes to remain anonymous but asked that we publish his work as a form of personal closure. We've listened to it and there is something haunting and addictive about it, so we decided to honor his request.  Find the proper time and place to listen to this front to back at high volume. Perhaps while you are on a road trip, or working on a project that requires background noise. 77 minutes will be gone before you know it, and you'll be asking yourself, " What the hell did I just listen to?". And then you will be playing it over again.                "Epic Anger 77" (c) 2015 is the creative property and owned by:  "Scatterbrain Podcast Presents"  (c) 2022 Scatterbrain Productions All right reserved. Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 128! Join us this week for a discussion on Morgellons Disease. This one will make your skin crawl. What is this disorder and what are the causes? Episode 126 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Voices from a Mile High
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 126! "Ladies and gentleman, this is your stewardess speaking. We regret any inconvenience the sudden cabin movement might have caused. This is due to periodic air pockets we encountered. There's no reason to be alarmed and we hope you enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?" If you ever hear that on a flight, you know you're in trouble. Recording from the Mile High City, Ian tells us about his flight into Denver, piloted by the most aggressive yet effective commercial pilot he's ever flown with. Definitely not sluggish, like a wet sponge. This week, we catch up and then talk briefly about NASA's Artemis I lunar mission. We ponder the past, present, and future missions to the moon while wondering if there is something on the moon they aren't telling us about. Then, we review some new music from Paris, France: "Voices From the Void", the latest release from thrash metal band, Blackened.  Thanks for listening and your ongoing support. Don't forget to subscribe, like/rate, and review. While you're at it, don't forget to share this episode with 100 of your closest friends - it's kind of like a pyramid marketing scheme except you won't make any money and your friends won't hate you for shilling shitty knives or candles. Episode 125 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Poisonous Outburst Of Stupidity
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 125! We welcome back our regular guest-host, Marianne. For her 1015th visit we talk about news in our lives, uh, etc., I really don't remember. It's all a blur. Oh yeah, we review old-school-confusing-band-history-German-thrashers Protector's new album, "Excessive Outburst Of Depravity" ( say that sentence 10 times fast ). Then to wrap it up, we talk about poisons. That's it. Poisons. Enjoy! Find us at the normal places, and listen to Marianne's podcast "Death Is Everything." It's about death. But, it's informative and humorous, too!  "Scatterbrain Podcast with Ian and Dan". SUBSCRIBE, LISTEN, SHARE, RATE, AND SPREAD THE WORD! Sorry for yelling. (c) 2022 Scatterbrain Productions. Episode 124 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Bob Lazar
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 124! These days, there is so much new music being released, we couldn't help but double up on our album review this week. First, we delve into the realm of deathcore, with "Karnage", the latest from the french metal band, Kanine. Next, we get back to the basics with Soulfly's newest release, "Totem", and we experience the Mandela effect in the process. Then, to wrap up the episode, we talk about Bob Lazar. Whenever UFO's and alien crafts come up, his name is usually brought up in the discussion. We've mentioned his name several times in the past on Scatterbrain Podcast, so it was only fitting to dedicate an episode to his interesting story. This man is the subject of many documentaries and claims to have worked as a contractor on a secret government program at the S-4 facility, near Area 51.  The purpose of his work was to reverse engineer technology recovered from alien spaceship wreckage. Fact or fiction? You decide. Thanks for listening! -- Congratulations, you've found us. Episode 123 - Scatterbrain Podcast: The Greada Treaty
Welcome! I wrote a lot that just vanished, and now I am pissed! So... We: 1) Jibber-jab about dogs, beach, Kerry King, music, etc., etc. 2) Review Municipal Waste's new album "Electrified Brain", and a cool discovery about one of the songs. 3) Review our own ratings of albums this year so far. 4) Talk about The Greada Treaty: President Eisenhower meets with aliens from two different races on two separate occasions. Sound ridiculous? Yeah, it does, but... just listen to this! WTF? Did this really happen? Thanks for being there for us like we are for you. Every week! (c) 2022 Scatterbrain Productions. Always.

Episode 122 - Scatterbrain Podcast: The U.S. Secret Space Program
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 122! This week, we talk about about Dan's trip to Seattle and some of the interesting history of the city. Then, we get into this week's review of "Rotten Blood", the latest release from Bastard. Have you ever wondered what technologies exist that are not known to the general public? Can some UFO/UAP sightings be attributed to secret military or space programs? We ponder these and other questions during our discussion on U.S. secret space programs. An interesting discussion and food for thought. Thanks for listening - don't forget to like/rate/review, subscribe, and share! Episode 121 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Our UFOs with Paroxysmal Butchering
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 121: Our UFOs with Paroxysmal Butchering.  First off, Ian and Dan get into a back and forth about time travel. Can a human travel to the future, the past, or both? And, what are some classic movies that absolutely could not be made today? Then, Tim and Josh return to the show to talk with the guys about their own UFO/UAP sightings. People who live in Southern California have a higher percentage chance of seeing anomalous craft, lights, and "things" in the sky ( and even shooting into and out of the ocean ) than most people on Earth not living in Brazil, Russia, UK, or Hudson Valley. It's not just Ian, but Josh and Tim have had their own sightings, and recount their experiences for us.  We also jibber-jab about the U.S. Secret Space Force, the petroleum industry, fossil fuels, and renewable energy. Then to close out, Tim gives out some super cool information about upcoming P.B. shows, their soon-to-be-released new album, and his new book "The Eastern Outskirts". It's AVAILABLE NOW! Buy it! And read it! It's really fucking good!    Live, listen, learn, and laugh like you're dying tomorrow! Because what's the point if you don't enjoy the ride? Thanks for listening, Scatterbrains! Episode 120 - Scatterbrain Podcast: The Haunted Complex with Paroxysmal Butchering
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 120, with special guests Josh and Tim from San Diego-based brutal death metal band, Paroxysmal Butchering.  After Dan and Ian get into a full-blown discussion about kegerators and brewing beer, the guys welcome Tim ( vocals ), and Josh ( guitars ) to the show. After a brief history of their band, Paroxysmal Butchering, Tim recounts his experiences living in a very large, very haunted apartment complex some years back. Strange and sometimes violent paranormal events that have all the hallmarks of poltergeist activity. Listen to his tale, and judge for yourself. Josh, Ian, and Dan also have a ghost story of their own to tell for good measure. Enjoy episode 120 with Josh and Tim, because we had a blast recording with these guys! In fact, you'll be hearing more from them on episode 121, and hopefully they will guest-host the show on other upcoming episodes as well. Thanks for listening, everyone! Welcome one and all to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 117: Edgar Cayce "The Sleeping Prophet". We recorded this episode two days late, so this is coming to you late. Better late than never, right? We talk about going viral, a newer Swiss death metal band, a famous old-school German thrash band, and their new album releases ( it's a two review episode and I'm out of time, so listen to find out who ) Then we discuss a man that Dan thinks is a charlatan: Edgar Cayce, AKA "The Sleeping Prophet". Or is it Ian who thinks this guy was a phony and fraud? Dan is a secret Scientologist, and Ian is an alien, so no one actually knows anything. Except Joe Nickle. He has all the answers.  Thanks for listening everyone! Welcome to Episode 116! You are in for a treat! It's another installment of SOG! This is Vol. 3, "At The Studio." We recorded this gem... well... at the studio. It's short and, uh... sweet? It's a behind-the-scenes look at Ian's sometimes incoherent babbling, and Dan's bottomless well of patience. You will probably be able to actually HEAR Dan rolling his eyes. Some may say Ian is unbalanced. But can an unbalanced person write so eloquently in the third person like this? Ian is telling me, "No." Thanks for listening Scatterbrains!  We will catch you again next week, as usual.   Scatterbrain Podcast With Ian and Dan is available on all major platforms that support podcasts. Then, after the guys apologize profusely to a great man, a man's man, a true American hero and icon, the greatest human to have ever lived, the best actor in history... we talk about the only Emperor Of The United States ( and Protector of Mexico ), Emperor Norton I. Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 113! This week, we are joined by San Diego-based black metal band and U.S. National winners of the 2022 Wacken Metal Battle, Mythraeum. We learn about the history of the band, the recording of their first album "The Inevitable Return", and the forthcoming release of their new EP.  We love supporting the metal scene, especially our local San Diego scene. Please do what you can to help the guys from Mythraeum get to Wacken (in Germany) by contributing to their Indiegogo fundraiser - https://igg.me/at/myth1/ This is a great opportunity for the guys to bring their killer tunes to people from all over the world, but comes at significant expense. Episode 112 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Drowned In Sleep/Lucid Dreaming
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 112: Drowned In Sleep/Lucid Dreaming. We review yet ANOTHER Brazilian band, Drowned, and their new album, "Recipe Of Hate". Then, we talk about some of our favorite albums from past reviews. Thrash is more than just a musical style, it's lifestyle. Our topic this week is dreams and dreaming. More specifically, lucid dreaming. Is it really something that we can all do? When you are dreaming, have you ever realized in the dream that you are in fact dreaming? And if so, are you one of those who claim that they can consciously control themselves, and even the path and outcome of the dream? Sounds impossible, but first hand accounts of this ability go back hundreds, even thousands of years. It's an interesting conversation the 'Brains had about the mystery of dreams and dreaming.  Thank you for listening everyone! And always remember: it's good to be a Scatterbrain! Episode 111 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Madame Curie
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 111: Marie Curie. First: We kick things off by reviewing the blackened Hungarian death-metal band, Needless, and their most recent offering, "The Cosmic Cauldron".  ( https://needlessofficial.bandcamp.com, and/or Instagram: (@needless_metal) ) Then: She was a genius. Sure. She did important work in science. Yes. She is universally honored and respected for her dedication to her work, and her many discoveries. Of course. But, did you know she was also the true inventor of heavy metal? Just kidding. That was Black Sabbath. But, her life WAS extremely important, and her discoveries forced a paradigm shift in the way we look at the universe. That's not nothing. Even Einstein, Niels Bohr, and Werner Heisenberg yielded to her genius. We roughly knew about her accomplishments, but hear what the guys found out about who she really WAS. She was WAY ahead of her time, and she literally died for her work. Thank you ALL for listening and supporting us over these last two eventful years. We truly appreciate our faithful listeners for helping us grow into the bloated behemoth that we've become ( play along ).  And if you are new to the madness, WELCOME! Episode 107 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Alien Abductions Part One ( The Artist & The Farmer )
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast with Ian and Dan. Episode 107; Alien Abductions - Part One: The Artist & The Farmer.  After we catch up about some metal news, Ian's latest trip to Colorado, space signals, and spacetime paradoxes, we challenged ourselves and review TWO new albums this week: Meshuggah's "Immutable", and Descent's "Order Of Chaos".  Then, we focus on firsts: the first person to openly take a maligned and widely ridiculed subject seriously, then spend almost four decades interviewing hundreds of perfectly respectable people who claim they have been abducted by extraterrestrials.  Then, we review the first case to be widely reported, when a Brazilian farmer had to be hospitalized with radiation sickness after his alleged encounter with aliens in 1957. Truth really might be stranger than fiction, depending on what and who you choose to believe.  Thank you for listening, and remember to rate, like, follow, and share. We appreciate it greatly. In this episode, we review "Antiorthodox", the latest from Evansville, Indiana's  Forthright. Episode 105 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Alien Implants and Power-Violence
Hello Scatterbrains! Welcome to episode 105! We're happy you're here for yet more comedy, metal, and high-strangeness!  This week we review the new album "Psychic Rot" by east coast power-violence trio Backslider, and talk about a few "pinnacle" albums from some bands we are sure you've heard of before. Then the guys tackle the contentious and polarizing issue of alien implants. UFO believers and debunkers alike can't really get a handle on this one... it's just too scary and weird for anyone to think this could actually be happening. But, the evidence is so tangible, and the laboratory results on these objects is so hard to dismiss, that it will leave you questioning everything! Being skeptical about any disputed or frightening phenomena is only intelligent, but ignoring or dismissing mounting evidence to the very same phenomena actually existing is just cowardice. This is a strange but interesting aspect to the whole UFO/UAP phenomenon that just can't be ignored any longer. Listen to find out what it's all about!  Thank you all for your loyalty and for listening every week!  Catch us on Instagram and Twitter, and listen to us on all major platforms that support podcasts.  Don't forget to follow, rate, and share! Episode 102 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Technology of the Ancients
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 102: Technology of the Ancients.  This week we review "Let the World Burn", the latest release from old-school Bay Area thrashers, Vio-lence. We also talk about "Timewave Zero" from Blood Incantation.  Then we talk about technology: Ancient technologies such as the "Antikythera Mechanism", modern technologies invented earlier than you might expect, and technologies invented independently and in parallel by more than one person. What will remain long after we as a species are gone? We consider this and other interesting questions in this discussion.  Thank you for listening. We appreciate all of our listeners, new and old. Scatterbrain Podcast - UFOs, Spacetime, & Technology: The Expanded E.T. Hypothesis
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast - "UFOs, Spacetime, & Technology: The Expanded E.T. Hypothesis". (c) 2022 by Ian Mesplay. Thank you for listening everyone! We will be back next week with episode #100! It's been a strange and overly-eventful last four months, but we'll be back on track and back to our usual format of music reviews and cool topics in March. It's called Scatterbrain Podcast for a reason, people. Stagnant and predictable we are not! Note:  The sound you hear at the end of this mini-episode is the sound Sputnik 1 broadcast in low Earth orbit in 1957.  Launched by the U.S.S.R. on Oct. 4, 1957, Sputnik 1 was the first artificial satellite put into Earth orbit as part of the Soviet space program. It orbited Earth for 3 weeks before its batteries ran out.  23 inches in diameter and weighing 184 pounds, it orbited the Earth every 1 hour 36 minutes causing widespread fear within the U.S. population that the U.S. military had fallen behind in developing new technology. This turned out to be untrue, as the U.S. could have launched its own satellite one year prior, but chose not to do so for various reasons unrelated to what the Soviet Union had planned.  Rushing a response to Sputnik 1 & 2 due to public outcry, the U.S. famously had a failed launch in Jan., 1958, reported in newspapers at the time as "Ka-putnik!". While Soviet rocket failures were covered up, the U.S. broadcast the launch attempt and subsequent explosion on live T.V. to the embarrassment of the U.S. government.   Available on most platforms that support podcasts, or catch up with us via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Professor Google can help you with that. Every day, Stanley. You were no mere dog, and anyone who thinks Ian should "just get over it" obviously never met you.  He was a true friend to EVERY human he knew. He dominated every room he walked into with his joyous energy and overwhelming friendliness. Not an hour goes by that I don't think about him, and the world without him in it is a lot less fun and colorful. He truly was no mere dog. He was life itself.  I love you, Bubba.

Scatterbrains on the Go - Vol 2.5
What's up Scatterbrains? Welcome to Scatterbrains on the Go, Vol 2.5! We're doing something a little different this week. This isn’t the normal weekly episode, but instead is a modified version of the “Scatterbrains on the Go” series, where we record live on a phone while out and about. Why Vol 2.5, you ask? To be explained in the episode. This should probably be titled episode 100, but we need to give episode 100 it's own special treatment. So we're not including this in the normal numbering scheme. "Whatevah, Whatevah, I'll do what I want..." This week, Dan talks with Knox Colby (@knoscody), vocalist from Enforced (@EnforcedRVA), after their set in San Diego on the Decibel Magazine 2022 tour. We talk about joining Enforced, dogs, music, a new Enforced album, and more. You don't want to miss this one. Thanks for listening, and a special thanks to Knox for taking the time to hang out and talk. \m/ You can find us on Instagram and Twitter, or send us a a message at scatterbrainpod@outlook.com. Episode 99-ish - Scatterbrain Podcast: WTF?! The Episode That Almost Wasn't
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast - Episode 99-ish. "99-ish" because, well, you ever have one of those weeks where nothing seems to go right? It's been one of those. In fact, this is the episode that almost wasn't. We seriously considered skipping this week. This episode WAS supposed to be the 5th and final installment in our Metal Assault Series. This episode WAS supposed to be an interview with Dave Barrett, vocalist for Socal melodic death metal band Voices of Ruin. We had a great interview with Dave, and learned all kinds of cool things about Voices of Ruin... but as luck would have it, the Technology Gods weren't having any of it, and the interview was lost in the ether. Sorry Dave! Never the less, we persevered and got this episode out. Not our best, but certainly not our worst, and definitely a labor of love. We love doing this podcast and we love knowing you're out there listening. That being said, we owe it to Dave from Voices of Ruin and Andrew from Metal Assault Records to remind you that the Metal Assault 12-year anniversary music fest is upon us! Go online now and get your tickets at TransplantsBrewing.com, or visit MetalAssaultRecords.com for more details. Let's all have some fun, drink some beers, and listen to some great bands. Can't to see old friends and make some new ones.  Thanks for listening everyone. Your loyalty and support make this all worthwhile (you know who you are). You can also find us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, or send us a a message at scatterbrainpod@outlook.com. We would love to hear from you!

Scatterbrain Podcast - UFOs Over Southern California In 8 Minutes
Published in The Hill; January 4th, 2022.   Written by Opinion Contributor Marik Von Rennenkampff: "UFOs, the Channel Islands, and the Navy's 'Drone Swarm' Mystery". Anyone with moderate intellect who has done even minimal objective research into the UFO/UAP phenomena over the last eight decades has known that UFOs are real, and SOME of them are "not of this Earth". It doesn't matter what you think, feel, or want to believe about this topic. It's been a reality that you need to come to terms with. One way or another. It's the biggest and most important story in all of human history, yet most people choose to look away and pretend it's not there.   "Some of us know better, and are allowed to see... if it were us watching them, would you want to land? Would you think that was wise? They see who we are, and who we can be. We are a curiosity and a concern - worth keeping from reaching their stars."

And for his second visit, we are honored to welcome back Mofo vocalist Emiliano ( "The Voice" ) who joins us from Germany. If you like good conversation, and the power of music to draw four like-minded people together in friendship, then you'll love this episode! We focus on our feelings and impressions of the new and highly anticipated album "Persona Non Grata", from old-school thrashers, Exodus. And then we talk about "doppelgangers". Not just what they are, but OURS! Yes, all four of us have them - and two of us more than the others ( hint: it's Emiliano and Dan ). We also talk about...well, you name it! From the current state of the world, vaccines and crazy conspiracy beliefs, how college has been treating the guys, recent Mofo band news, movies, math as truth in the universe, ET visitation, and more! When Shakal and Ian get to talking, the fucking apocalypse can't shut them up!  The Scatterbrains have nothing but mad respect and love for these guys. Then we review the new album "Malignant Reality" from the New Jersey trio Replicant. And finally, we have a fun discussion on so-called glitches in the matrix. De Ja Vu, missing time, premonitions, synchronicity, birds and airplanes frozen in mid-air, and Dan and Ian's own experiences with odd and inexplicable happenings. Welcome to the simulation. Scatterbrain Podcast - Acceptance & Peace
If you had the courage to listen to "Funny Face" last week, then you know it's been a rough week for Ian.  We are taking the week off in respect for Stan. This is titled, "Acceptance and Peace", and is part of Ian's healing process.   Long-time listeners know how much we loved Stan, and he was big part of Ian's life and the show. He is already greatly missed by all the humans he touched. He had a genuine impact on so many people with his infectiously happy spirit, his total love for life and living, and his fearless and pure friendliness towards everyone he met. He was the embodiment of kindness and love.  Thank you ALL for the outpouring of kindness and condolences Ian has received. It has meant a lot to know how many true friends are out there, and how much you all care. We will be back next week with a new and fun and uplifting show. We really hope we didn't lose you with the downer week. Ian promises he'll stop loving shit!

Episode 84 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Vlad!
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast: Vlad! In honor of one of the many Vlads that we love. No, not Putin ( sexy bitch that he is ), but The Impaler himself! He always STUCK it to his enemies. I would STAKE my life that this is great episode. I think you WOOD agree after sticking it through to the end. Ok, I'll stop.  Halloween special number 2 of 4 for our favorite time of the year! The air is getting colder, the Moon is full and bright, and frankly my deep pockets are currently filled with pecans! Long story.    Thanks to all who listen, and to those who won't: burn in hell! This is a fun and interesting podcast! WTF? Seriously, we really do appreciate your loyalty and time. Available on Spotify, Apple, Google, Instagram, Twitter, Pocket-Cast, iHeartRadio, Stone Tablets, Ancient Dead Sea Scrolls, insideyourmomspanties.com, or wherever you would just look if you weren't so damn lazy! It's music, comedy, and interestingly weird topics! What's not to love?    First we banter a touch. Then we review the new EP "Upgrade" from Danish thrashers Demolizer. Then we put the bloody cherry on top and talk about the Wallachian Voivode, Vlad The Impaler. Also known as Vlad Dracula. His full name was simply: Vlad III, and he is a national hero of Romania to this day. Was he really so bad? Was he really the inspiration for Bram Stoker's "Dracula"? Does Ian really store shelled nuts in his pant pockets? Listen to find out!    Scatterbrain Podcast with Ian and Dan: Subscribe, listen, follow, and share! Then we delve into an obscure UFO event in The Soviet Union from 1989, The Voronezh Encounter. Did a group of kids really come in contact with robot beings from another solar system/galaxy/dimension? Or was it all just a well-crafted lie to get attention? Could so many people really collaborate to lie about this, and stick to their story to this day? And if so, to what end? Listen to find out what the Scatterbrains think. And then finally, another installment of "My Best Friend Satan" to end the episode with style. You're welcome.

This episode, Chris (vocals), Fred (guitar), and Efren (bass) take a break from rehearsal to talk with us about all kinds of weird paranormal shit that goes down in Texas. We talk UFO's, ghosts, brujas (witches), and more.  The guys shared some interesting stories with us and we had some great laughs.  We've met some awesome people during the course of this podcast, and the guys from Kryptik Mutation are no exception. \m/  Scatterbrain Podcast with Ian and Dan: Subscribe, Listen and Share!  Twitter - @ScatterbrainPod / Instagram - @ScatterbrainPodSD

Episode 79 - Scatterbrain Podcast: Demonic Possession Being Thoroughly Exorcised By The Unfathomable Power Of The Oxygen Destroyer
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 79. Thank you to all who are listening and helped us grow into the podcasting powerhouse that we are! Keep listening. And to our newest Scatterbrains: stick with us. We will grow on you ( like flesh-eating bacteria ).  This week we review the new album from Seattle's Oxygen Destroyer: "Sinister Monstrosities Spawned by the Unfathomable Ignorance of Humankind" (that is the second time I had to write that, so I figured WTF I'll just type even more letters because my fingers aren't hurting enough!). Then we talk about demonic possession. The movie "The Exorcist", the book that inspired the movie, and the "true" events that inspired the book. Then we ask, "Aren't zombies and poltergeists the same thing as possession?". And can people's body's really be inhabited by malignant and malevolent spirits? Or is it all in our minds? Listen to find out what the Scatterbrains think. OR WE WILL COME AND EAT YOUR FUCKING SOULS!!! Ummmm. Sorry about that...    Scatterbrain Podcast with Ian and Dan: subscribe, follow, listen, share, talk about, worship, dream about, send money, admire, loathe, hate, despise... just pay attention to us!

Episode 78 - Scatterbrain Podcast: With Korvak
Welcome to Scatterbrain Podcast Episode 78! Thank you for listening and your ongoing support. There is only so much time in a day, so thanks for sharing it with us. This week, we learn that podcast segments don't sound very good when you forget to press the "record" button.  Fortunately, the major oversight did not interfere with our great conversation with Andre from Korvak (https://linktr.ee/korvak). Andre performs bass, guitar, and vocals for this Brazilian three-piece thrash act.  In this episode, we learn about how the band formed, the recording of their 2019 self-titled debut, and what is in store for the band in the future. We also talk about aliens and other random stuff. If you haven't checked out Korvak's music, check it out after listening to this episode. We also talk about the latest release from Helslave, "From the Sulphur Depths". Scatterbrain Podcast with Ian and Dan: Subscribe, Listen and Share! So, we're releasing this episode early to make room for another fun episode later this week.  In this episode, we review "Alienist", the latest release from Brazilian thrash metal band Decimator. This is an extremely interesting topic, about which Ian gets very passionate about. Thanks to everyone who has listened, liked, and followed us on social media. Follow us on Twitter (@ScatterbrainPod) and Instagram (@ScatterbrainPodSD). Please help us spread the word by sharing with your network. When we sat down to record this episode, we planned to do an album review and discuss another topic. In this episode we review Warbringer's new album "Weapons of Tomorrow" and Cirith Ungol's "Forever Black". We also talk about all sorts of metal-related topics: Nuclear Assault, Warbringer's crazy 58-day non-stop tour run, Nervosa's break-up due to loss of their bassist/vocalist and drummer, and new artists "picking up the metal torch". We're now streaming on several podcast platforms, including Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, PocketCasts, Breaker, and RadioPublic. More coming. In this episode, Ian and Dan review the new Body Count Album "Carnivore" and talk about ghosts, including the one in Ian's house. We talk about the strangeness and resilience of life, and those silly "Flat-Earthers" and "Moon Hoaxers". Calm down Ian!
