The SDGC MINICAST contains news and information about disabled golfers and curlers.
Each episode has a variety of content from many of our 60+ games and competitions held each year, as well as interviews, comment and chat from our players.
The SDGC MINICAST also has details on our free Lessons & Practice Programme, where some 4000 golf and curling lessons have been accessed by members, plus information on our Team International, The Phoenix Cup and British Open Championships.

As we finally start our season off, episode 44 of the podcast has a section with some golf tips, which nobody wants to hear? Also, a chat with two of our low handicap Scottish players, one new and one not so, about a hole-in-one, Brechin, Greenburn, the Isle of Harris and our majors, like the Open and Phoenix Cup in September.
Episode 43 of the podcast sees us pay a visit to the States for a TV piece on the ParaGolfer and the Stand Up & Play Foundation, then its sad news, with a tribute to one of our members and charity Trustee Les McConachie from St andrews.
The latest MINICAST from the SDGC has a we report from the adaptive golfers in the States and a chat with the past Chair of our charity, about his golfing prowess, his travels and a few incidents he wanted to relate. Oh yes, and there was a hole in one to mention and some bad luck along the way. 😉😉😉
Episode 41 of the MINICAST has contributions from golfers as far apart in the UK as possible, with Kenny M in Suffolk and another Kenny M on the Isle of Harris. Differing circumstances, differing disabilities, very different golf clubs, but the best thing in common . . . . . . the love of the game and a willingness to promote golfers with disabilities. .
Episode 37 heads off around Europe for a chat with eight well established players, asking how they got into golf, developed their game after disability and what they imagine might happen in the future.,
Episode 36 has the final 36-holes of the SDGC Virtual Ordder of Merit broadcast on the MINICAST, with at least the top 30 players in with a chance of the top 10 prizes, plus a few surprises along the way with the movers and shakers from the 66 who teed off way back in November.
Episode 35 has lots of bits and pieces of information about the charity, as well as the penultimate double round of gowf for the VOOM and things are very tight at the top of the tables after more Birdies, Eagles and Hole In Ones.
Episode 34 of the MINICAST has the latest rounds from Kinross for the second VOOM Championships and yet more changes on the leader board, but more significantly . . . . . . . have you ever had one of those days when absolutely nothing goes right? This was Janet's nightmore!!
Episode 31 of the SDGC MINICASST is immersed in the double round draw of the Virtual Order of Merit Championship Tables, with all 66 players teeing off for the 36-holes in one day. The top ten on the leader board has changed several times and there has been several bonus point grabs from hole in ones, but could there be a new leader after today?
Episode 30 has a double round, 36-hole event for the SDGC Virtual Order of Merit, (VOOM-2) Championship, with the 66 players making their half way move on the title race. Flask and sandwiches was the order of the day and a small hip flask advisable for a wee chill?
Episode 24 of the MINICAST has the second draw for the SDGC VOOM 2 Tables and there are some early shifters up and down the table, plus we have a quick chat with Terry Kirby from Yorkshire on pressure on golf buggies.
Episode 22 has the second lockdown Virtual Order of Merit Championship for the year, with some 66 players from 5 countries defying restrictions to play some 20 golf courses around Scotland. Also in the podcast is Chris from the USA, on how he came to disabled golf.

Episode 17 of the MINICAST has a number of interviews and comments from some of the international disabled golfers taking part in the 25th & 26th Phoenix Cup, that ook place over the Gleneagles, Carnoustie, Panmure, Blairgowrie and Trump Golf Courses.
The Open Champions of 2020 discuss their victory at Strathmore in Alyth and give special mention to the lack of rain over the 3 days of the competition. Chats with overall Champion Willie Iness, Andy Gardner, and Paul Higgins.
