What we have here is a delightful and fun interview with none other than our good friend, the eternally lovely ELLEN COHEN, who has one of the more interesting of stories about attending Woodstock! It’s a pretty funny story involved in getting separated from her friend for three days of peace, love and music! This episode is one that we’ve waited to release for quite a while… In its original form, back in 2019, this was one of the episodes that was most challenged in terms of quality due to the circumstances, under which it was recorded. We have used AI to clean up some of the background noise. It is still not perfect and probably never will be, but hopefully you will find it to be a much more enjoyable listen than in its original form. In any case, it’s a great interview, and an important one as well!

Keep  The Dream Flowing is the home of the HEROES! In this second part of a  multi-episode deep dive, we chat with none other than SKIP TAYLOR, the  manager of CANNED HEAT from 1966 to the present day! As you could easily guess, Skip has so many wild stories to tell about the band that was arguably the most delightfully off-the-rails band in rock history that several episodes’ worth of them will never be enough! Trust me when we say, you will have a good time! And it’s been said before but it bears  repeating -- don’t y’all forget to boogie!!

Episode 104 -- The Blues Project, Blood, Sweat & Tears and beyond with Steve Katz! (part two)

Episode 104 -- The Blues Project, Blood, Sweat & Tears and beyond with Steve Katz! (part two)

The blues lives here at KTDF! In this incredibly fun episode, we talk to the one and only STEVE KATZ, founding member and leader of the legendary 1960s New York band THE BLUES PROJECT! Steve, of course, also played with BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS at Woodstock, and was with that band for several years as well! So obviously, this is a good one, and we also discuss what Steve has been doing of late with the Blues Project, which includes touring (it’s a hell of a band, folks, you need  to check them out!) and recording a new album, EVOLUTION (now available at the official Blues Project website!). Did we mention that Scott has  a good friend (Chris Morrison, ladies and gentlemen!) who is playing  with the Blues Project now? All this and more, baby! This is part two of two!

Episode 102 -- Living the Woodstock Spirit with Lisa Law! (part two)

Dreams  do come true here at KTDF! For this episode, we give you the second part of our two-part epic conversation with none other than LISA LAW!  Obviously, Lisa needs no introduction — you all know her, you all  love  her, she worked with the HOG FARM creating and supervising the free  kitchen at Woodstock, and helping in no small way to set the general vibe for the festival. It has long been a dream of ours to have her on the show, and here she is! Lisa is going to talk about her ongoing   project gathering Woodstock stories for the Bethel Woods Museum (if you have not given her your story yet, what are you waiting for?), her experiences at Woodstock 99, and so very much more! This one was a true privilege and a true pleasure!
