Jesus' Crucifixion Was Not Plan "B" : God reveals His Big Plan: Ephesians 3:1-14
In this video, we will explore the idea that Jesus' crucifixion was not just some sort of backup plan that God had to resort to when things didn't go as planned. Rather, it was an integral part of God's grand design for salvation, as revealed in the book of Ephesians, chapter 3, verses 1-14.
To understand this concept fully, we first need to delve into the history and context of the Bible. In the Old Testament, we see that God made a covenant with the Israelites, promising to bless them and make them a great nation if they obeyed His commands. However, they repeatedly turned away from God and broke the covenant, leading to punishment and exile.
Despite this, God did not abandon His people. He continued to send prophets to guide them and foretell of a coming Messiah who would save them from their sins. This Messiah, of course, was Jesus Christ.
In the book of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul reveals that this plan for salvation was not some sort of afterthought or backup plan. Rather, it was part of God's eternal purpose, which He had planned from the beginning of time. Paul writes, "This mystery was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 3:5-6).
In other words, the salvation offered by Jesus Christ was not just for the Israelites, but for all people - Jews and Gentiles alike. This was God's big plan all along, and the crucifixion of Jesus was an essential part of it.
But why was the crucifixion necessary? Why couldn't God just forgive sins without requiring the death of His Son? The answer lies in the nature of sin itself. Sin is not just a moral failing or a mistake - it is a rebellion against God's authority and a violation of His holy law. The penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23), and without the shedding of blood, there can be no forgiveness of sins (Hebrews 9:22).
Jesus, as the sinless Son of God, was the only one who could pay the price for our sins. He willingly gave His life on the cross, taking the punishment that we deserved, so that we could be reconciled to God. As Paul writes in Ephesians 1:7, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace."
The crucifixion of Jesus was not just a tragic event or a random act of violence. It was part of God's eternal plan for salvation, a plan that He had been working out since the beginning of time. And because of Jesus' sacrifice, we can now have forgiveness of sins and eternal life with God.
In conclusion, this video has explored the idea that Jesus' crucifixion was not plan "B," but rather an essential part of God's big plan for salvation. We have seen how the Old Testament covenant, the coming of the Messiah, and the revelation in the book of Ephesians all point to the centrality of the cross in God's plan. We have also seen why the crucifixion was necessary, and how it provides redemption and forgiveness for all who believe. May this message encourage and strengthen your faith in the God who loved us so much that He gave His Son for us.

Making Faith Work For You Through Spoken Holy Declarations In Belief. Teacher Byron Hamilton
Psalm 100 and 7 I believe verse 20
the word says that God sent forth his
word and healed them and delivered them
from their destruction God sent forth
his word we are learning about releasing
the word of God that's how God operates
he releases his word
so when David penned that in Psalm is a
Psalm 107
that's a good scripture to have if you
don't have it
verse 20.
that'll work Psalm 107 verse 20 that he
sent forth his word and healed them
that's what this Centurion picked up on
and we're studying this on Thursday
night he said to Jesus there in Luke 7
verse 7 just say the word and my servant
will be healed
there is power in the word of God it's
got to be released a word doesn't become
a word until it's released before it's
released it's a thought
so the very essence that God sent forth
his word and healed them meant that the
power and the authority is in the word
of God
so God did that and he healed them and
delivered them from their destruction
and so that Centurion recognized in
Jesus just say the word
and my servant will be healed and Jesus
marveled and said I've not seen that
type of faith in all of Israel
so we want to understand the word of God
and releasing that word of God
and that's what we're studying on
Thursday so if you want to learn in your
life how to release the word of God of
what he's put in your heart and how to
declare that and how to push through how
to persevere when it doesn't look like
in the natural it's going to manifest
when everything you look at screams at
you that God is not going to do this
it's not going to work you just plan
games
then we have to learn the principles of
Faith to push through
it's called endurance
Faith produces endurance Faith produces
patience
faith and patience go together
because while you were waiting to see
those things manifested you're not just
sitting with your arms folded and just
having a ho-hum approach to it
well you're waiting for the
manifestation of those things that you
are believing God for you are active in
faith you're active in declaring while
you patiently
activate
and wait
on the manifestation of those things so
we want to be a patient people because
if we're not patient we'll give up too
early
we'll give up before we see the
manifestation
and we then sabotage the faith we
started with see now Peter started with
faith when he walked on the water he
started with faith faith was operational
he said to Jesus just say the word
Jesus spoke the word see now he's got a
word to work with and that's the whole
element of where we start with in faith
we've got to receive a word it's either
a word out of here it's a word from the
Holy Spirit confirmed by this but you
get something from the holy spirit it's
and there's an excitement with it
there's a vision you can see it and you
start in faith you begin calling it
forth so then we have to persevere in
that Faith that's where Peter went down
he started in faith but because his eyes
looked at the circumstances around him
and what he saw with these eyes was
greater than what he saw with the eye of
Faith he's spiritual eye the vision that
God had put in him and when Jesus spoke
the word and said come and he got out of
that boat and he started walking on the
water isn't that amazing
you can walk on the water
if you got a word from the Lord you can
walk on the water you believe that word
and you step into it
you have to put action to it the Bible
says faith without works is dead so
Faith by itself doesn't do anything
we've got to take hold of that Faith
begin to declare it and put works with
it the works don't actually create the
faith the faith is there but we put
works with it so that we that faith can
get materialized and we can see it and
so when Peter
enabled his five senses to
be of greater value to him then the word
of God spoken to his heart he went down
it'll be the same to us
if you allow your senses by what yo

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NKJV)11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
Your Conscience Is Not Your Best Guide - 1 Corinthians 10
✅ Subscribe to our YouTube Channel - @Dr. Scott Silverii talks about Your Conscience Is Not Your Best Guide 1 Corinthians 10 - Avoid Israel’s Mistakes 10 For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that our fathers were all under the cloud and they all passed through the sea; 2 and they all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and they all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was [a]Christ. 5 Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased; for their dead bodies were spread out in the wilderness. 6 Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they indeed craved them. 7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.” 8 Nor are we to commit sexual immorality, as some of them [b]did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day. 9 Nor are we to put the Lord to the test, as some of them [c]did, and were killed by the snakes. 10 Nor grumble, as some of them [d]did, and were killed by the destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let the one who thinks he stands watch out that he does not fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and God is faithful, [e]so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. 14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise people; you then, judge what I say. 16 Is the cup of blessing which we bless not a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ? 17 Since there is one loaf, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf. 18 Look at [f]the people of Israel; are those who eat the sacrifices not partners in the altar? 19 What do I mean then? That food sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is [g]anything? 20 No, but I say that things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become partners with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. 22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we? 23 All things are permitted, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted, but not all things [h]build people up. 24 No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his [i]neighbor. 25 Eat anything that is sold in the meat market without asking questions, for the sake of conscience; 26 for the earth is the Lord’s, and [j]all it contains. 27 If one of the unbelievers invites you and you want to go, eat anything that is set before you without asking questions, for the sake of conscience. 28 But if anyone says to you, “This is meat sacrificed to idols,” do not eat it, for the sake of that one who informed you and for the sake of conscience; 29 Now by “conscience” I do not mean your own, but the other person’s; for why is my freedom judged by another’s conscience? 30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I slandered about that for which I give thanks? 31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things for the glory of God. 32 Do not offend Jews or Greeks, or the church of God; 33 just as I also please everyone in all things, not seeking my own benefit but the benefit of the many, so that they may be saved.
Love Requires Sacrifice - 1 Corinthians 9
✅ Subscribe to our YouTube Channel - @Dr. Scott Silverii talks about Love Requires Sacrifice - 1 Corinthians 9:1 -27 - Paul’s Use of Freedom Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. My defense to those who examine me is this: Do we not have a right to eat and drink? Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? Or do only Barnabas and I have no right to refrain from working? Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not consume some of the milk of the flock? I am not just asserting these things according to human judgment, am I? Or does the Law not say these things as well? For it is written in the Law of Moses: “You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing.” God is not concerned about oxen, is He? Or is He speaking entirely for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing in the crops. If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share [h]from the altar? So also the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel. But I have used none of these things. And I have not written these things so that it will be done so in my case; for it would be better for me to die than that. No one shall make my boast an empty one! For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, for I am under compulsion; for woe to me if I do not preach the gospel. For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a commission nonetheless. What, then, is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel. For though I am free from all people, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may gain more. To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the Law, I became as one under the Law, though not being under the Law myself, so that I might gain those who are under the Law; to those who are without the Law, I became as one without the Law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might gain those who are without the Law. To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak; I have become all things to all people, so that I may by all means save some. I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it. Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way as not to run aimlessly; I box in such a way, as to avoid hitting air; but I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Knowledge [a]puffs up, but love [b]edifies. 2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. 3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him. 4 Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. 7 However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse. 9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a [c]stumbling block to those who are weak. 10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol’s temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols? 11 And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 12 But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

Sexual Immorality Defiles The Body Of Christ -1 Corinthians: 5
✅ Subscribe to our YouTube Channel - @Dr. Scott Silverii talks about Sexual Immorality Defiles The Body Of Christ -1 Corinthians: 5 Immorality Defiles the Church 5:1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father’s wife! And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you. 1 Corinthians 5:1-2 (NKJV) We don't want to get too involved in their drama. Churches FLEE when marriages in Crisis - Push In Let the pastor deal with someone else's sin. It ain't my problem. For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (NASB) Sin In Your BODY - Sin Is Your Business (1 COR 5:5) deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Kingdom accountability must be applied in the Spirit. WHY TURN SEXUALLY IMMORAL OVER TO SATAN? Unrepentant sin damages the Body. Jesus will protect His Church - Romans 1:28-32 (NKJV) Reprobate Minds Sinner lives for flesh – Satan destroys sinners’ flesh (live by sword, die by sword) 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells Satan is god of this world. Choose Sin - Choose Satan - CHOOSE WISELY. Satan will destroy the flesh, but no control over man's spirit. The goal of Church removal is not retaliation, but rehabilitation: to convict the man of his sin to encourage repentance and restoration. Brothers, if anyone is caught in any sin, you who are spiritual [that is, you who are responsive to the guidance of the Spirit] are to restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness [not with a sense of superiority or self-righteousness], keeping a watchful eye on yourself, so that you are not tempted as well. Galatians 6:1 (Amplified Bible) Paul then warns about a little leaven in 1 COR 5:6-8 - It's better to purge out than ruin whole lump and start over. The FLOOD removed all leaven (sin) and Started Over. NOTE: You must be a good steward of God's Church. Cannot co-exist with sin.
Watering, Working and Warning - 1 Corinthians 3:4-16
✅ Subscribe to our YouTube Channel - @Dr. Scott Silverii talks about Watering, Working and Warning - 1 Corinthians 3:4-16 1 Corinthians 3:5-8 (NKJV) Watering, Working, Warning 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. The Watering We struggle as a Body when immaturity mistakes the pastor's fame with the gospel's truth. They are NOT the same. The Working We struggle as a Body when we want believers to look like us instead of Jesus. Discipleship is not telling new believers what you think - Teach them to read and understand what the Bible reveals. The Warning We struggle as a Body when we serve half heartedly or give God our leftovers. Christians will not have salvation judges, but we will be assessed of our work for eternal rewards. We don't have an eternal perspective about kingdom rewards. HOW TO HANDLE STRUGGLES? Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve. Colossians 3:23-24 (Amplified Bible) You get what you give Are You Sowing Kingdom Seeds With Expectation Of Kingdom Fruit? For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:8 (NKJV) Effort is a heart condition. Once Body grows, the integrity of the foundation will either support it or fracture. Be a good steward of God's kingdom. Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. 1 Peter 4:10 (Amplified Bible)

Sectarianism Is Carnal
And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
I was saved with Milk:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16 (NKJV)
But I didn't understand the Meat:
"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:17-18 (NKJV)
NOTE: Evangelists use gospel Milk so Non-Believers can easily digest the truth of Jesus Christ. - BUT Church must equip the Body of Believers to digest the same gospel message as Meat so they mature through discipleship and can / will go out and make disciples. STAR WARS NOTE: I’ve never seen the Star Wars movies, but I read that George Lucas had the idea for the prequels decades before they were made. Asked why he waited 16 years to make the blockbusters; he said the technology simply was not there. Similarly, the Holy Spirit was required to understand the deep mysteries of God.

NOTE: Continue our walk through 1 Corinthians by looking at the Foolishness of Human Wisdom. ANCHOR SCRIPTURE 1 Corinthians 1:18-24 (NASB) The Wisdom of God For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the understanding of those who have understanding, I will confound.” Where is the wise person? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block, and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. HOW DO WE STRUGGLE IN TODAY'S CULTURAL ELITISM? Intimidated by worldly elite and learned? Jesus called them - Pharisees. Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and Pharisees have seated themselves in Moses’ chair [of authority as teachers of the Law]; so practice and observe everything they tell you, but do not do as they do; for they preach [things], but do not practice them. The scribes and Pharisees tie up heavy loads [that are hard to bear] and place them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves will not lift a finger [to make them lighter]. Matthew 23:1-4 (Amplified Bible) SPIRITUAL MATURITY IS NOT MEASURED BY INFORMATION, BUT BY APPLICATION - Do others make us feel Less Than when they espouse Christianeese? - Stop you from volunteering at church? "What if the three-year-old ask about Dispensationalism?" Be Real - Say I Don't Know But I Will Find Out! - Afraid to prophesy – Worried? Misplaced – Seek social direction from culture’s proud and arrogant SOMETIMES - even Spiritual Direction. Mind God's Mind to Mind Your Mind NOTE: Paul addresses THE FOOLISHNESS OF HUMAN WISDOM that comes from the arrogance of elitism and performance-based demands of self-reliance. Stephen Hawking - Brilliant theoretical physicist. Genius IQ over 160 - Died March 2018 "I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail," he said. "There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark." WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE FOOLISHNESS OF HUMAN WISDOM? 1 Corinthians 1:18-24 (NASB) (1 Corinthians 1:18) For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. NOTE: Paul teaches everything God foretold in OT was accomplished at the Cross: - The "Message of the Cross," in contrast to speech of human wisdom. - The Cross produces opposite reactions of people perishing (headed to hell) and those being saved (headed to glory). - Bible is consistent about separation – Genesis 1:4 – Light from dark / Matthew 3:12 – Wheat from chaff / Matthew 25:31-33 – Sheep from goats (1 Corinthians 1:19) For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the understanding of those who have understanding, I will confound.”

DIVISION - Denomination means Division. “The tendency to divide or cause to divide into sects or denominations - division into denominations.” - Talked about The Culture War – Ammo doesn’t matter as much as Outcome – DIVISION. - What causes church division? Denominationalism. - Center for the Study of Global Christianity shows more than 200 in U.S. and 45,000 globally. Paul doesn’t mince words when talking about saboteurs: Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and yet you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one must worship.” Jesus said to her, “Believe Me, woman, that a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews. But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I am He, the One speaking to you.”
WHAT IS CHRISTIAN WORSHIP? Scripture Is Clear What Worship IS and ISN’T God Is Worship - Worship is not a band or popular music. Worship is your posture before God. MARRIAGE Between what you see in VISIBLE realm and what God gives in the INVISIBLE realm – (2 Kings 6:17) And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. - Hebrew and Greek words for Worship = bow down before, kneeling or face down to pay reverence or make petition. - When the Bible repeats – it’s important. Worship is used 8,629 times. - Still think it’s about music? What It Is: “To him be the glory forever. Amen. I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” Romans 11:36–12:1 - Glory to God is reflected by Priorities - Does God hold the Glory spot in your life? NOTE: If you truly Worship God, then you make sacrifices - God get Firstfruits in Worship like ABEL or leftovers in obligation like CAIN? Genesis 4 – Cain’s heart was bitter and selfish – God corrected and encouraged – STILL he killed his brother. - Biblical worship exposes true nature of hearts. Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously. Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NASB) - Refuse to submit and bow down in worship, you’re no better than Cain. Worship Through God-Pleasing Sacrifices Through him, therefore, let us offer God a sacrifice of praise continually. For this is the natural product of lips that acknowledge his name. But don’t forget doing good and sharing with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16 (Complete Jewish Bible) What Is Worship in Spirit and in Truth? God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24 (ESV) True Worship is love in action. - Worship says I surrender all!!! Do You? - Worship doesn’t benefit you by the GAIN. Benefits you by the SURRENDER. - You GIVE in Worship what first fruit God gave you and He gives back an Orchard.

For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down, and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who are watching it will begin to ridicule him, saying, ‘This person began to build, and was not able to finish!’ Or what king, when he sets out to meet another king in battle, will not first sit down and consider whether he is strong enough with ten thousand men to face the one coming against him with twenty thousand? Otherwise, while the other is still far away, he sends a delegation and requests terms of peace. So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions. Jesus Creates Culture In His Return Over The Next Forty Days Before Ascension To Heaven
Four Ways Jesus Culture Flourishes
Multiplying Jesus Culture
1. Authentic Engagement
Jesus knew people and He allowed others to know him. (No MASK)
He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs,
appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.
Acts 1:3 (ESV)
2. Invitation to Participate
Jesus invited both men and women (Counterculture) to participate in God’s reign and share that reign with others (OPEN PALMS), even when they didn’t have it all together (What today’s culture calls QUALIFIED), even when they inevitably would fail (Discipleship). No special lineage, schooling, gender, or social status was needed (CALLED).
Women Lead the Way
In Mark 16 – The three women at the empty tomb were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome mother of James and John.
But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there, just as He told you.’” They went out and fled from the tomb, for they were seized with trembling and astonishment; and they said nothing [about it] to anyone, because they were afraid. Now Jesus, having risen [from death] early on the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. She went and reported it to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning.
