Preamble: The Purpose Driven Series

Preamble: The Purpose Driven Series

This is the pre-amble for why I'm recording this limited podcast series, what it's about and who I am (especially for people who have found this podcast through podcast channels), and what you can expect from the rest of the series.

For those of you who are coming in cold, in short, the pandemic has manifestly changed the world we live in and forced us to reconsider the way we live our lives, what we consume, and our impact on the world. There are numerous think pieces that speak to the rise of 'purpose-driven' businesses and lifestyles, however as someone who's been running a social enterprise for the past few years (www.colourspace.gallery), I became curious whether people actually shared the same definition of what 'purpose-driven' means. Are we actually becoming more purpose-driven? What are the barriers? Is there such a thing as worthy or unworthy purpose?

I interviewed 51 people from around the world, across all different backgrounds and industries, in order to go deep and find out.

This series is actually an audio companion to a written white paper on my website. If you'd like to download a copy of the PDF, please head on over to www.scottko.com.
