Ep. 21: The Hauntings of the Abbeville Opera House, Junior Pierce, & The Dock Street Theater
The beautifully crafted Abbeville Opera House in the Upstate has been the home for many shows and performances since its opening in 1908. But according to many witnesses, some its ghosts seem to stick around for one final performance. Also, in a world full of true crime content, we all seem to know at least a little bit of trivia when it comes to serial killers. One of these killers seems to fly under the radar for the most part, but Junior Pierce was nothing short of a monster. And later, we’ve got a double-dose of haunted theaters in this episode. The Dock Street theater in Charleston has also had its fair share of tragedy since its opening and plenty of ghosts to go along with it.
Ep. 20: The Murder of Samantha Josephson, Farr's Bridge, and "Monkey Island"
College is supposed to be an exciting time in any young persons life. But for USC senior Samantha Josephson, a fun night out with friends ended in tragedy. Plus, the not-so-haunted Farr's Bridge in the Upstate has still managed to rack up an overwhelming number of mysterious deaths in its history. And later, we take a look at the small island of the coast that is home to over 4,000 wild monkeys.
Ep. 19 : Amelia Earhart's Plane, The Old Sheldon Church, & UFO Spotted in Goose Creek
Since October of 1937, the disappearance of Amelia Earhart has puzzled the world and birthed many conspiracy theories. Since then, researchers and adventures have tried to locate the remnants of her missing plane in an effort to solve the mystery surrounding her disappearance only to come up short. That is, until recently when a man from South Carolina believes that he has discovered her missing plane. Also, the historical churches located around the state bring in many residents and tourists to admire their beauty and appreciate the architecture from long ago. But what some visitors may not have hoped for is a ghostly encounter to go along with it. And later, A Goose Creek woman and her daughter go for a drive on a normal afternoon like any other. That is, until they spot a UFO hovering above them.
Ep. 18: The Disappearance of Faith Roach, Lands End Road, and Haunted Spots in Columbia
There have been a number of strange disappearances and deaths recently in Oconee County, located in the Blue Mountain foothills. The latest of these being in 2019 when 26 year old Faith Roach was last seen getting into a van with an unidentified male. Almost 5 year later, she has yet to be found. Also, If you’re in the mood for a good scare, then the Lands End Road will be sure to live up to its reputation as the most haunted road in the state. And later, if you’ve had the pleasure of spending time in Columbia, you’ll know that the city prides itself on history, entertainment, and college football. But what about its abundance of ghosts?
