Life Update: Experiencing the real "lows" of my business journey. I'm alive!

You hear about businesses going up and going down down down. I am currently at the bottom of that scenario.

Itā€™s been almost one year since I said ā€œF**K it, Iā€™ll quit my job and figure it outā€. Things went great, almost TOO great. And because of that, I got complacent.

In this episode, youā€™ll hear the struggles that Iā€™m currently facing, how Iā€™m going about overcoming those obstacles, and the next steps in my business.

Business is hard. I thought I knew what that meant, but now Iā€™m reaching a new level of it.

I appreciate you for being part of my journey. Hopefully, youā€™re able to see what it looks like from my perspective.

36: A Conversation About Race with Kam Goff

36: A Conversation About Race with Kam Goff

2020 has looked hopeless so far. Every month something new is coming out. That's why I brought Kam in, an African American man who shares his perspective on the riots, systematic racism, and what both sides need to do. This is a raw conversation, but one that is absolutely necessary to have. I said in a recent post "Actions have never spoken louder than words more than they do today", and that's exactly why we did today's podcast. I hope you enjoy it, but most importantly, I hope all of us can start looking inward and figure out what we need to do individually to move the world forward. Thanks for listening.

34: From High School Grad Selling Knives to Full Time E-commerce and Instagram Coach.šŸ“²

Early 2020, at a ClickFunnels conference, I met todayā€™s guest: Derek Videll. The cool part about this situation was that we both started talking about things we had in common like: sales finals, marketing, social media, and mentorship. Derek was someone I wanted to connect with immediately. After a few months, Derek and I talked about the possibility of recording a podcast together. He has built two e-commerce businesses, and is currently an Instagram coach for entrepreneurs. He has worked his way up from graduating high school and not knowing what to do, to not only quitting his day job and living the laptop life, but also helping hundreds of people around the world do the same. Get ready to get some value on how to build your brand online, how to get over your mental obstacles, and how to find success through Instagram.

Oh boy, I am excited for this one! In this podcast I spoke with Armando Lopez, a young entrepreneur who runs two full-time businesses. He was in a place where he didnā€™t know what to do with his life or how to make money, until he took a chance on himself and started up in network marketing. But after a few years of high success, he realized he wasnā€™t happy. He didnā€™t believe in what he was doing. So he quit and started up his own business. Armando shares his ups and downs, the things he has learned from various businesses, and gives his number one piece of advice for all solopreneurs.

30: Reaction to Kobe Bryant Passing Away šŸ€

Following the tragic news that Kobe Bryant along with his 13-year-old daughter, and seven other passengers passed away in a helicopter crash, I reflect on what went through my mind and what Kobe Bryant meant to me. We often feel like our emotions need to be validated by other people but in reality a little bit of empathy can go a long way. Embrace the people that you love, give a call or a text to the person thatā€™s been on your mind, and above everything, learn from other peopleā€™s suffering and from other peopleā€™s mistakes and from other peopleā€™s losses. RIP to a great one.
