There are questions I have to ask myself when it comes to the goal and why am I following short.
How do we know from day to day activities that I am losing weight and not just water weight? Once on that path to losing weight, how do I stay on it?
Who or what is holding me back from the losing the weight?

Secret #47- Why Motivation is Crap
We are always trying to get an edge or advantage to what we are doing whether it be in our relationships or in business or in fitness. Anything to help us out we usually will do, especially if it is a quick fix.
We read books, blogs, talk to others, attend seminars, webinars and listen to podcasts like this for inspiration. I am a huge fan of podcasts and ebooks. It is so easy nowadays to put a podcast or ebook on while we drive or when we’re just lounging around the house. We use this as motivation to drive us or to push or encourage us that what we are doing is right or to get a task done and help us continue to move forward. We do all these things to make us feel good but more times than not they fail. We fall short.
Why does motivation fail us so often?
Is what the person is teaching about wrong, incorrect or misinformed?
Do we not fit the mold or the system or take in the information that we were supposed to get from that motivation?
The motivation made me feel good, but why am I still struggling to keep the motivation?
In this episode we will answer these questions and more.

Secret #45- The Presidential Inauguration
Once every four years, here in the United States we get to vote for the leaders of this great nation. Back just a couple of months ago, in November, we got to vote for the President of the country. It felt like the nation was on pins and needles waiting for the results of the election. Even after the results, the losing candidate kept fighting his cause (not going to name names of winners and losers, it’s not the point of this discussion). Just last week our new President was Inaugurated (sworn into office).
The Presidential Inauguration is supposed to give the people of our hope for a better future. Hoping for change and improvement for a better life for its people.
