Paul's letters: It is a matter of grace!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from 1 Corinthians 15:10 ESV, and it says “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.” What is God’s grace in this context? Gods unlimited capacity to be and do all things. Let us pray for our children
To live for Jesus!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Galatians 2:20 (NKJV), which says, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” How sweet and powerful will it be for our children to walk in the revelation of the life Jesus' death and resurrection purchased for them!
Pauls’ letters: A heart that honors God
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Romans 1:21 ESV, “For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” You might be a devoted lover of God but does your child know Jesus? Like the scripture says in Romans 1:21, our children may be religiously familiar with God but their heart may be far from Him to honor, adore, and truly worship Him. Pray that your child will be a worship in spirit and in truth.
Living to hear God!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Romans 10:17, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” To hear God, Moses went on the mountain, Daniel fasted and refused the Kings’ sweets, David praised God seven times a day, Jesus retreated and prayed all night long, Joash had a godly mentor, Timothy served Paul. Praying that your child will live a life that is conducive for God to speak.
To know His voice!

A healthy soul
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from 3 John 2, “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul”
3 John 2 points out how our good health and our souls are connected. This week we are praying for prosperity and wholeness in every area of life but specifically for wholeness in health (physical) and soul (the emotions) for our children.
A soul that blesses the Lord!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 103:1 (ESV), and it says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name!”
The soul is where our feelings and emotions rule, and if care is not taken, it is easy for our feelings and emotions to rule us instead of us ruling them. Here, Psalm 103:1, the psalmist is commanding their soul to bless the Lord. It is a command that we must establish in our lives and the lives of our children, that no matter what we are feeling, our souls be lifted up to bless the Lord.
Minds stayed on Jesus!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Isaiah 26:3 and it says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Our children are confronted with multiple distractions from different corners these days. Isaiah 26:3 is a command to direct and keep their minds on the Lord, that they make their focus in life the Lord, trusting Him.
Purified thoughts
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” The essence of this scripture is that our thoughts should be holy – whole, purified, God glorifying. Let us pray for our children!
Loving the Lord with all their minds!
Welcome to boymomunited prayer podcast! The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Matthew 22:37 “And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is Jesus speaking directly to us about the the whole purpose of our being and existence, to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and mind. Dwell on Jesus' words and pray for your child!
Renewed mind!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Romans 12:2(ESV) “Do not be conformed to this world,[a] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Guarded mouths
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Proverbs 13:3 “Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.” This scripture speaks to the control we must exert on our mouths and the discretion that must be exercised to live wholesomely.
Overflow of goodness
The scripture we are using to pray this week is the Amplified version of Psalm 45:1, and it says, “My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my psalm to the King. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.” That is, the state of the heart influences our output - both in focus and productivity. It aligns with what Jesus said in Matthew 15:18, “But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.” May the hearts of our children overflow with goodness, flowing out of their mouths! Amen
The power to speak life!
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Proverbs 18:21 which says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. This scripture is speaking to the authority we have to create and revive. The scripture points to the power that our words hold. I am reminded of Jeremiah 1:9-10, “Then the Lordreached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
Impactful communicators
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from James 3:13 KJV, “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.” This scripture is speaking to how people’s character can and should be reflected in the way they speak. We will be praying that our children will communicate in ways that glorify God.
Mouth filled with praise
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth” The mouth is where the knowledge of the heart and of the mind is expressed. The use of the mouth is where influence on others is concerned. Declare that the mouth of your child will continually testify of God’s goodness.
Surrendered lives
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 134:2, “Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the Lord!” Why is lifting hands to the holy place to bless the Lord important? Because it depicts a life surrendered to the Lord. In many civilizations, people lift up their hands to law enforcement as a sign of surrender during a confrontation. Doing so, is one of the most effective ways to manage tension. If the show of hands depict surrender to an earthly authority, how about hands that are constantly lifted to the Most High?
Established in purpose
Welcome to the boymomunited podcast prayerline. Boymomunited is a prayer altar to lift up the destinies of our children, particularly male children of African descent. However, we believe that given the potency of God’s word, these prayers will capture and uplift every child regardless of gender, race, or national origin.
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 90:17 and it says, “Let the favor[a] of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!”
What does it mean to be established? It means having been in existence for a long time and therefore recognized and generally accepted. Think of the process Joseph had to go through for his works to be established. It required the fear of God, trust in God’s faithfulness, consistency, forgiveness, love for others, and hard work.
Strategies for winning in life
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 144:1 (AMP); Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my great strength, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle." The scripture/prayer this week addresses the use of the hands in battle and more specifically the Lord providing instruction and strategies for winning in life.
Yielded Hands
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from 2 Chronicles 15:7, “But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.” Jesus was nailed to the cross through his palms and feet - carrying and nailing the weight of the worlds’ sin to the cross. Our hands carry us because life’s work flow through it and nourishment flow from it to us – every time you put food in your mouth. be blessed!
Heartful of God’s Word
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Psalm 37:31 “The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.” Our children’s stability and stamina in life depends on what the heart is made of! If the heart is filled with the word of God, there is stability but if it is void of the word of God there is imbalance.
Seeking God Wholeheartedly
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Jer 29:13, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” This scripture (and I encourage you to meditate on Jer 29:11-14) reminds us that God is near – infact he wants to be near - he’s near to our children, he only asks that we seek him with all of heart.
A person after God’s heart
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Acts 13:22, which says, “And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, ‘I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.” The key word here is ALL - in every area and every aspect of their lives, let us pray that our children will conform to God’s priorities and purposes.
The right heart
The scripture we are using to pray this week is from Proverbs 4:23 (ESV), which says, “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life” The heart of the matter is this – the heart is symbolic of our wellbeing spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I believe that is why God uses it as the analogy ofour outcomes. Therefore let us pray for our children
Let the earth rejoice
This week we will be standing in place and in the gap speaking the sovereignty of our God over the nations! The scripture this week is from Psalm 97. We will declare the entire Psalm and proclaim the authority of God over our children and the lands of the earth!
Guided steps
The scripture this week is from Psalm 37:23 (AMP) “The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].” This scripture makes me think of having a guided tour vs navigating an unknown territory by oneself. On a guided tour, you will maximize the experience whereas you could end up lost finding your way on your own. May our children have God's guidance!
Advancing in God's glory
The scripture this week is from Proverbs 4:18 (ESV) and it says, “But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.” Like the Sun's impact progresses with the day, so should our children's path become clearer and better. Let us pray!
The Lord will pave a way!
The scripture this week is from Psalm 18:36 (AMP) and it says, “You enlarge the path beneath me and make my steps secure, So that my feet will not slip” Imagine a path that is narrow, overgrown with bushes, and crooked, then the Lord stepping in, clearing it and widening it on both sides to make it more conducive for travel. Alleluia! The Lord is the waymaker!
Following the paths of righteousness
The scripture this week is from Psalm 23:3b, and it says, “He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His names’ sake” Do you know how many people, families, cities, and nations lack righteous leaders? Can we imagine what our world would look like if every leader in every space and place on earth yielded to God’s leading in righteousness? Let us lift up our voices in adulation to a God who wants to lead and show our children what is right and just.
Healthy vision
Therefore, let us speak life! The scripture for the week is from Luke 11:34, “Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness” God allowed Joseph to see who he was at a very young age, God knowing all the circumstantial obstacles he was going to face gave Him an insight of what was ahead. Let us pray that our children will and see clearly through God's eyes.
Open the eyes of their heart
The scripture this week is from Ephesians 1:18 “having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,” The eyes of the hearts are the inner eyes, the secret witness that sustains truth and divine knowledge. Let us pray that the inner eyes of our children will be opened and enlightened. Amen
Lift up your eyes!
The scripture this week is from Genesis 13:14-15, “The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever.” The Lord said, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are” My Lord! friends, our children must lift up their eyes and look beyond their environment, beyond the system, beyond this worldly order. Let us pray.
Revive! Divine sight for revival
The scripture this week is from Genesis 21:19, “Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.”
It is 2022 friends and the Lord wants to bless the sight of our children at the onset of this year. I strongly believe it is a divine set up towards a remarkable year of revival – remember Jesus said, the eyes are the light of the body, so when the eyes that is the spiritual sight is sharp, everything else is aligned.
Unto us a child is born!
The scripture this week is from Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Being the last prayer podcast for 2021 and in the spirit of celebrating Christs’ birth, let us honor God for giving His own son for us and our children. Alleluia! A child is born unto us – a son is given!
The year is crowned with bounty!
The scripture this week is from Psalm 65:11“You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance” A crown is usually the last accessory that goes on because of where it sits, on top of the head. Interestingly it could be the most significant accessory that differentiates the wearer from others. Hence the crowning is very crucial and symbolic. Declare that the year of your child will be crowned!
Be Holy
The scripture this week is from 1 Peter 1:15, “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,” Holiness means whole and complete,perfect in goodness and righteousness. Our God is perfect in all His ways. As such, may our children desire, receive, and reflect God’s holy nature in every area of their lives. Amen!
Manifesting as light
The scripture this week is from John 1:5 (ESV), “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Let us declare that our children will shine. There is darkness lurking everywhere, the world is full of all manners of darkness but today we raise the light of God up and we declare that the light of God will flood through for our children in every dimension.
Enjoying life to the fullest
This week I am encouraging you to search for scriptures that speak about enjoying life, then use those scriptures to pray for your child and their specific needs. As an example, we declared Psalm 126:2 (ESV);
the mouth of my child is filled with laughter,
and their tongue with shouts of joy;
then it become known far and wide among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for my child and my family.”
The Lord has done great things for us;
we are glad.
I agree with you by faith that your child will be glad, enjoying their life to the fullest in Christ Jesus!
Desiring and dwelling in the presence of the Lord
The scripture this week is from Psalm 122:1 (ESV), “I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” It is important that our children are accountable to righteous peers and leaders in their walk with God. In desiring abundance of godly counsel for our children, let us declare that at every junction and stage of life, the counsel of God will surround them.
Sure, Steady, and Swift in Christ Jesus
The scripture this week is from Habakkuk 3:19 and the Amplified version says, “The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]. A hind is a female deer that can place her back feet exactly where her front feet stepped. Not one inch off! In times of danger, she is able to run securely and not get “off track”. She is able to scale unusually high and difficult terrain to elude predators. Let us prophesy this capacity into the lives of our children.
Guided and yielded to divine direction!
The word for this week is from Isaiah 30:21 and here it goes in English Standard Version; “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” The definitive stance of this scripture and the tone of it communicates an assurance about God's resolve to give to our children instruction concerning their journey in life. Let us agree with His word in prayer
Flourishing!
The scripture this week is from Jeremiah 17:8 (ESV), and it says,
“He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
One of the things that stands out to me in this scripture is the unlimited source of our God. His ability to supply and nourish are not limited to personal, societal, institutional, or seasonal conditions. Let us lift up our voices to the Lord as He is able to sustain our children in all conditions!
Being a god in the Most High God
The scripture this week is from Psalm 82:6, (AMP) “I said, “You are gods; Indeed, all of you are sons of the Most High” Let us pray that our children will be gods in the Most High God, not drawing attention to themselves but living as testaments of God's authority and power.
Steadfast in troubled times
The scripture this week is from James 1:12(AMP) “Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” Temptations and trials come at our children in different forms and angles, there is no guarantee against them. Let us pray that our children will be like Jesus, Joseph, & Ruth who stood their ground in the face of temptations.
Imitators of God
The scripture this week is from Ephesians 5:1, and the Amplified version says, “Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; I love how the scripture says “become imitators” of God, emphasizing the continuity of the journey. It also shows the intentionality behind imitating the Father. Let us pray that our children will become imitators of God, praying that every day they will consciously live to know and do what the father will do.
An embodiment of every spiritual blessing
The scripture this week is from Ephesians 1:3, and the Amplified version says, “Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ,” After creating us in His image, God blessed us and the main reason Jesus died is to reconcile us to the Father and the blessing. Let us pray and claim for our children what is theirs!
