This is a 3 lesson week with a Doctrinal Mastery Review, and an Assessment (our second). Brian and I process through the week and discuss possible approaches along the way. 

Brian and I discuss engaging students through the more hands-on, workshop style lessons provided this week. 

Brian and I discuss how to get our students talking, and how the curriculum can help us lead our students to the Savior. Also, I raise a little beef on the DM lesson. Just a tiny beef.

We talk less about Jeremiah, and more about what to do with a lighter curriculum week with no DM verses and a flex day.

We talk about fasting the sabbath with the two doctrinal mastery verses from this week, as well as how to effectively debrief general conference.

Brian and I talk about the chance to practice the mindset of helping those who suffer turn to Christ. Also we talk about a wind storm.

These first couple of weeks are crucial in setting norms and expectations in the classroom. That's more than just "rules". Creating a safe environment where students like each other, and you, and where they feel they can have a good time learning the gospel and asking their questions is a crucial part of what we are being asked to do.  Here are some tips from an old pro. 

"Culture eats strategy for breakfast" so said someone smarter than me. These first weeks establish an important culture that will effect the rest of the school year. Shad and Brian discuss best practices and different approaches to establishing that culture.

Our final podcast of the school year, Brother Mickelson is back with Brother Anderson to discuss Moses’ goodbye and the end of the Torah.

Brother Anderson and a real-live early morning seminary teacher, Brother Noonan, discuss the many relevant stories from Numbers. 

The Brothers Anderson are at it again discussing ancient Israel's tabernacle and the Lord's plan to help Israel qualify to be in His presence. 

We discuss the events surrounding Israel's struggle to live up to their privileges.

Brother Anderson and Brother Mickelson discuss the the lessons and applications surrounding the Moses and Israel's visit to Sinai.

This week's block is all about standing still and seeing the salvation of the Lord. What does this mean? How do we do this in 2022? What part of the covenant story do we observe in this block?

"Who is YHWH that I should obey Him?" The question was asked by Pharoah, but really it's the question the entire Old Testament seeks to answer. Today we discuss the showdown between the Lord and His current opposition, the King of Egypt. In these chapters we see, once again, the redemption of Christ and the Covenant story as God frees His people from bondage.

RIcky and Shad again, this time discussing the making of a nation, God's revelation to Moses, and redemption. 

The Brothers Anderson discuss some points on the second half of the Joseph narrative.
