Creating an Environment of Belonging and Relevance
These first couple of weeks are crucial in setting norms and expectations in the classroom. That's more than just "rules". Creating a safe environment where students like each other, and you, and where they feel they can have a good time learning the gospel and asking their questions is a crucial part of what we are being asked to do. This week's block is all about standing still and seeing the salvation of the Lord. What does this mean? How do we do this in 2022? What part of the covenant story do we observe in this block?
Exodus 7-13
"Who is YHWH that I should obey Him?" The question was asked by Pharoah, but really it's the question the entire Old Testament seeks to answer. Today we discuss the showdown between the Lord and His current opposition, the King of Egypt. In these chapters we see, once again, the redemption of Christ and the Covenant story as God frees His people from bondage.

RIcky and Shad again, this time discussing the making of a nation, God's revelation to Moses, and redemption.
Genesis 42-50
The Brothers Anderson discuss some points on the second half of the Joseph narrative.
