SAC Chairs Atara Cohen and Adi Liebenthal plan a year of happiness
In Season 4 Episode 1, podcast host Jonah Delson interviews SAC chairs Adi Liebenthal and Atara Cohen about their plans for the 2023-24 school year, including how they’ll respond to the proposal passed by Town Hall last year that says SAC should do more.

- How Adi got interested in SAC, even during her freshman year when school was remote during Covid.
- How Atara got interested because of Adi, and some of their plans – including kickball and slip’n’slide.
- How they became co-chairs, and plans for Color War.
- Their response to last year’s Town Hall vote on Eli Weiss and Evan Beller’s proposal, which called for SAC to meet at least three times a month and have at least one activity per month. Adi and Atara say they’ve been meeting multiple times per week already and planning to have activities not just on special occasions but “just because.”
- Their worries and insecurities – mainly their fear that the students won’t enjoy their videos, or other SAC activities.

Season 3 Episode 2 features interviews from departing basketball coaches, assistant varsity coach for both the boys and girls team, Coach Andrew Shcultz and JV coach and also assistant varsity coach for both the boys and girls team, Coach Andrew Plax.
They both reflect on what got them into coaching in the first place, their experience at Shalhevet, and what the future brings for them.
Season 3, Episode 1: The future of the Just Community: Sitting down with Rami Melmed
Season 3 Episode 1 features an interview with recently elected Agenda Chair, Junior, Rami Melmed. Rami shares his narrative of starting Shalhevet and not really knowing what Town Hall was, then running for positions on the Agenda committee and losing and then ultimately becoming Agenda Chair and growing a deep appreciation and passion for Town Hall.
Throughout the interview, Rami shares his ideas and concerns for Town Hall, discusses issues such as Fairness and the Just Community and speaks on starting the school band, The Riff.

Season 2, Episode 1: A Special Election
Season 2 Episode 1 features a summary of the upcoming Special Election in California’s 30th State Senatorial district. There are recorded interviews with candidates Joe Lisuzzo, a businessman; Command Sergeant Major Renita Duncan, a viol, and attorney Cheryl Turner, along with summaries of the other candidates in the race, who did not respond to requests for interviews.

Episode 4: The Constitution
In this special episode, host of "Ellie Talks" Ellie Orlanski reads the new draft of the Just Community constitution from front to end. Ellie read from the public draft hosted on Google Docs only accessible to Shalhevet students and staff. The draft is 13 pages long.
Agenda Chair David Edwards, Fairness Co-chair Evan Rubel, and Sabrina Jahan — all seniors — have worked on this since last May, and after many town halls, meetings in school, and speaking many times with Shalhevet founder Dr. Jerry Friedman, they have finally completed a draft of the constitution that will be discussed at a Town hall this coming Tuesday and then voted on.

In this episode, Senior Editor Alex Rubel shares some insight on remaining motivated during this time of quarantine; co-hosts Jacob Lefkowitz Brooks and Benjamin Gamson update the COVID-19 situation in Los Angeles and beyond, including donations of plasma from Orthodox Jewish communities in New York; Jacob and Benjamin provide news of Shalhevet events and changes caused by the outbreak; and Benjamin interviews junior Hannah Poltorak about the blood drive held at school April 6.
