On the final night of Crossroads Summer Camp 2021, Clayton preached a message called “How To Outlive Your Life.” He shared the story of Stephen, the first Christian martyr who boldly lived for Christ right up to the point of his death. He also told the story of a man from India who converted to faith in Jesus and then watched his family suffer severe persecution for their faith, and how God used their faithfulness to bring some of the persecutors to faith in Christ. We saw hundreds of students and adults respond to a call to ministry after this message.

At Crossroads Summer Camps 2021, he preached a message called “Turn on the light," challenging the audience to shine the light on their junk, sin, and secrets in order to experience Jesus' healing. Just because our sins are hidden doesn’t mean they aren’t there, they aren’t heavy, and that we have dealt with them. (Psalm 32:3-5 and James 5:16).

Our salvation not only required Jesus to sacrifice his life for us, but it also challenges us to “take up our cross and follow him.” Sharie teaches on what it means to take up our cross, and how Jesus changes everything.

Clayton's clarifies the meaning of salvation by telling the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. He explains why Jesus waited several days to visit Lazarus after he discovered he was sick. The raising of Lazarus was the 7th miraculous sign recorded in John’s gospel, and proves that Jesus was the Messiah. Hundreds responded to this message of salvation each week of summer camp.
