Join our conversation with  Ronae Mason-Craig about Period Poverty, and Menstrual Equity  What is period poverty:  A lack of access to menstrual products, sanitation facilities, and adequate education. This widespread issue affects an estimated 500 million people worldwide. Those experiencing period poverty may have mental health challenges and physical health risks. Menstrual Equity: Refers to the affordability, accessibility and safety of menstrual products. But menstrual equity is not just defined by products — it is also about education and reproductive care. Ms. Craig is part of the movement to passing the law in CT for Menstrual equity.
