She Blows it
By Carla
I'm a phenomenal woman, blowing smoke on the impact that events in modern culture, art, and virtues have on our evolution as people. I find it interesting, how we're conditioned to believe falsities and/or principles in society simply because that's what the masses believe.
The objective here, is to motivate you to purposefully activate your perspective and challenge everything you know, as reconciliation with your truth.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

What is the meaning of Life? PT 1
Join your host Carla Coley and Big T; host of the Ikantmakethisshitup podcast, as we chop it up about our abstract meanings of life. Stay tuned for part 2 next week.
Guest- Big T, host of Ikantmakethisshituppodcast: IG @landoverlegendsstudios
If I can't have it, then you can't either...
I thought to myself long and hard about what we, as people, can do to erase these crabs in a bucket of mindsets, which get us nowhere and adopt a more flexible mindset in understanding that when you help others, you help yourself. We don’t just sit back and expect for others to believe in us, if we don’t believe in them or take any genuine interest to understand the message they’re trying to convey. There are solutions to this, but everyone would have to work together and the likelihood of that happening is slim to none, hate to be a pessimist, but like Tupac said, that’s just the way it is.
Fighting for Identity
You’re in for a treat on this week's show, as we examine “woke” crossing the spectrum of fighting for an identity and how although so many people want to cancel woke, this is for everyone. As people we face pressure to “make something of ourselves” from family; we face the challenges of conforming to the construct of our careers, we conform to standards in relationships, to remain up to par to standards of said goals and objectives and the now conforming to standards of social media.

If you knew then, what you know now.
As teens and young adults, we thought we had life all figured out (If this doesn’t apply to you, then just hear me out, ok?). Most of us, thought we really understood life between the ages of 15 and 24; Screw, what anyone had to say, or wanted to prove. Why? It didn’t matter because, we be knowin’.
All of that, to now decades later, realizing we didn’t know spit! And I don’t know about you, but I still don’t know shit! Still a pupil in this thing called life!

It's not always a bad idea to isolate, it's actually quite fabulous and I'm not the only one who believes so. :)
Join your host Carla Coley in a conversation on how isolation is overlooked as a principle of setting boundaries, self preservation, and self discovery, through real life examples. On this show and every show, we magnify overlooked principles that distract us from everyday life and living.

Suffering in silence
Join your host, the one and only Carla Coley, in a discussion paying homage to Mental Health Awareness. In this episode, we explore the following:
- Personal encounters with mental illness
- The perception of mental illness through the lenses of society vs. the lenses of reality.
- The hypocrisy among those who publicly advocate to dissolve ties with the stigma, while behind closed doors insensitive towards their own family members who struggle with the debilitating ailments of mental health.
- The resources available outside of traditional therapy for those who harbor a cultural taboo around it.

To love thyself
Join your host, Carla Coley on episode #6: in a discussion centered around the following ideas:
- Explore the differences between self care and self love
- Just because we take care of ourselves doesn't mean we love ourselves. Sources of reference, are extracted from the experiences of people like DMX, Kid Cudi, Dwayne Johnson, and Jennifer Lewis.
- How Self love and self care is different for everyone; different strokes for different folks.
- How loving yourself doesn't mean you don't experience insecurities, negative thoughts, or negative energy. Every day is not peaches and cream ya'll!

Assets VS. Liabilities
Join host Carla Coley in a solo discussion, on how reading between the lines isn't something we learned in school in terms of socialization and building relationships.
On this episode we will:
- View assets and liabilities; not based on real estate, property, or financial investments, but on how the people in our lives are also assets and liabilities when it comes to our goals, peace, and success.
- Define Assets
- Define Liabilities
- Explore philosophies around how people can be assets based on their core beliefs and principles. Especially, when their belief system aligns with yours and the goals you're striving to achieve. What's also important are the vibes, and when the vibes are good, the tribe is good. Remember, your network is your net worth!
- Explore philosophies around how people can be liabilities based on their negative core beliefs being projected onto you and how that creates a clashing of energy. It makes you wonder if that person is supporting you, clout chasing, or simply hating?
- Tie them both in and differentiate how to choose accordingly
Be sure to subscribe to this podcast. It is my deepest hope that you took something away from this show and evaluated yourself and your tribe. What we didn’t learn in school
Join me, as I kick off my Season Premiere of Season 6 on the She Blows It Podcast: Made in ignorance, what they didn't teach us in school. It was only befitting that this first episode highlights what the education system failed to teach us and is failing to teach our children. I used various sources for this conversation including: http://www.fldoe.org/accountability/assessments/ https://www.nj.gov/education/cccs/ https://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/8-essential-skills-they-didnt-teach-you-in-school.html We learned math for testing, but not how to write a check; we spent time in Government and Civics class, but didn't even realize that very important pieces of history were excluded, as though they never occurred; and if we didn't attend a school in certain zip code, then the school most likely lacked resources. This particular source: https://nces.ed.gov/ccd/schoolsearch/ drives home the point of zip code and how zone/area play and important role in quality of education. Tune in, enjoy, and let's talk about what really matters. Subscribe, Like, and Follow this podcast on all platforms. We all love a little music right? Aside from the Ganga associated with his repertoire, Marley conveys deep messages that still resonate with most of us today and targets principles that are now floating around the media as being self care, self love, establishing boundaries, loss, love for all, etc. I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it.
A legendary, high Key Narcissist
We all have issues in life, but follow me on my google journey exploring what a narcissist really is, as I exhale some thoughts and facts relevant to the topic at hand. What I've noticed in my life, is that mental health diagnosis are just flung around at people because they refuse to conform to certain things others may desire and rightfully so, they have their reasons. We can all deal with our psyches if we understand what the problem is and have the compassion to see that there is a solution for others. Remember, always be kind to others because we are all silently struggling with something. Peace, love, and light! I hope you all enjoy this random episode. Muah!

Little, Big Choices
If you aren’t laying in the bed next to them every night, then why do you care? America is notorious for assigning an identity to everyone who roams the country. At birth, our gender is determined by our genitalia and if you have a vagina you’re considered a girl and if you have a penis, then you’re considered a boy. But, what if that baby grows up and decides, yeah- they say I’m a boy, but I’m really not and I want to be a girl, who’s to say that that’s wrong? Tune into "Little, big choices" for what's good!

Intuisdom- The Solar Plexus Chakra
Welcome back to She Blows it!!! I’m your host Carla and I’m back at it again with another episode. We are onto here we are at episode number 6 and we are steadily making our way through the chakra. Before we get into the good stuff, I want to let you know that this podcast is available on seven different platforms: anchor, Spotify, pocket cast, blog talk radio, breaker, google podcast, and radio public. Thank you so much for tuning in to this episode on The Solar Plexus Chakra, which is the 3rd Chakra and it’s Sanskrit name is Manupira- meaning “resplendent gem” or “lustrous gem”. When your solar plexus chakra is aligned, you feel comfortable with you own power and you become empowered. Connecting with a purpose, helps us gain a deeper understanding into how we can contribute to the people collectively and beneficially. It no longer becomes about me, but it becomes about us and how we will put each other on as people and build each other up.
The significance of the third chakra allows us the ability to manifest our:
· Willpower and Personal Power- gain the courage to take a risk and speak up for yourself (activate that throat chakra at the same damn time!).
· Intellect- ability to master thoughts, overcome fear, and take appropriate action in any situation.
· Decision making/planning
· Self-assurance
· Personality and personal identity
· Wisdom
The elements that represents the Third Chakra, or the Solar Plexus chakra is fire, which is connected with the sum, heat, energy of light, and all other forms of power. It is represented by the color yellow and is located between the lower chest and the navel area. This chakra is closed connected to the digestive system, it governs metabolism and is associated with the pancreas. The symbol for this chakra is pretty cool. It’s a circle with ten petals and a downward pointing triangle. The triangle in the symbol represents the element of fire and the transformative power of energy. The energy from the solar plexus chakra provides us with momentum to propel forward and get a glimpse at our personal desires and intentions in the world.
Thanks for tuning in and I hope you enjoy the show!
It's all love- The Heart Chakra
Welcome back to She Blows it!!! I’m your host Carla and I’m back with another episode. We are onto Episode #5 and this podcast is available on seven different platforms: anchor, Spotify, pocketcast, blog talk radio, breaker, google podcast, and radio public. Here we are, revealing the power of the Heart Chakra, characteristics of the Heart Chakra, identifying an imbalanced Heart Chakra, ways to channel the Heart Chakra, and how the Heart Chakra connects to the universe. The energy of The Heart Chakra allows us to recognize that we are part of something larger, that we are interconnected within an intricate web of relationships extending through life and the universe. When The Heart Chakra is open and energy is flowing freely, you are not only loving to others, you are also loving to your self. You know when you need to say no and when you need care and self-nurturing. Feel free to give me your feedback on the playlist and I hope that you enjoy this episode!
Until next time!

Featured item of the week from our friends over at http://www.urbankaozus.com : There is more than one way to peacefully say, "IDFWY"
This podcast is available on seven different platforms: anchor, blog talk radio, spotify, pocket cast, google podcast, radio public, and breaker podcast.
Here is the gist:
I’m inhaling on this idea: Our words are ENERGY and the energy that we expel out into the universe comes back to us in different ways. Our words can be used as weapons, or they can be used for good. The question is, how can we use our words for the good of all? How can we say something of value to the next person and inspire them to reach another level of consciousness? We won’t be able to express our truths if we fear expressing our thoughts and feelings, when we are unable to listen to ourselves/ other people, and when we are stubbornly resisting life.
I’m exhaling on how: We live in an era where anything you say can and will be used against you. Not only in the court of law, but anything can be used against you through snapshots, social media, karma, etc. Despite this reality, the individuals in today’s society say whatever comes to mind with no consideration to feelings, or anything-they are just inconsiderate as hell and that’s my perception. There is a time and a place where that is appropriate, but not all of the time. Our words are a manifestation of our realities; past, present, and future. When we give our past too much energy, we tend to co-habitate with it preventing us from propelling towards the future.
I hope you everyone enjoys this episode! Click here, to read the blog that coincides with this episode. The blog is extremely interactive and I promise you, that you won't get bored!
Thank you for tuning in!
Third Eye
I'm currently inhaling on this idea:
When our realities become clearer, we avoid self sabotage, we avoid anything that does not bring us joy, and we realize that we have the power necessary to align our Chakras through practice and patience through channeling the third eye. When our realities become clearer, we also dim down our emotional reactions to things that don’t deserve that type of energy(exhale on that!). These feelings can easily distract us from our paths, making us feel uninspired by things that give us joy and that my friend is the onset to depression(exhale that) and we aren’t even trying to be that! Be aligned and connected with your third eye. Most importantly, be patient with your practice whether it be yoga or meditation because you may not see the benefits right away, but it’s working and it's ALL UP TO YOU!
