Ep 36: Vember Conner - An entrepreneur who went from tech sales leader to founding her own company in the Ayurvedic skincare space.

Ep 36: Vember Conner - An entrepreneur who went from tech sales leader to founding her own company in the Ayurvedic skincare space.

Vember Conner is the Founder of Cāru, an organic, high-performance skincare line crafted in Ayurvedic mind-body tradition. Cāru, the Sanskrit word translating to “one who is radiant and graceful (in spirit),” encapsulates the heart of Vember’s philosophy – our inner state informs how we show up in the world. Following ancient, proven Ayurvedic tradition, each of Cāru’s facial serums are based on an individual’s biological blueprint, or Ayruvedic dosha––Vata, Pitta, and Kapha––which make up one’s mind-body type and unique physical, emotional, and mental characteristics. The blended scents and ingredients are formulated based on doshic traits to deliver visible results without a single drop of synthetic chemicals giving an envious, youthful glow and a balanced mental state. Vember is a sought-after speaker on how to incorporate Ayurvedic wellness into our fast-paced lives and works 1:1 with clients to promote good health, rather than fight disease.

On this episode, I dive into Vember's background to understand her journey to get to where she is today as a founder of such an epic skincare line. Vember shares about her inner calling and resistance to staying in the corporate world, and what really did it for her to take that first step into entrepreneurship. Vember is an avid learner, and shares about how she began her journey through Ayurvedic wellness and philosophy.

Ep 15: All Setbacks are Temporary - A moment of insight with Sheri Homayoon Myers

Ep 15: All Setbacks are Temporary - A moment of insight with Sheri Homayoon Myers

Your mindset is your power, and the ability to manage your emotions is a super power. On this moment of insight, I get into the topic of setbacks and help you identify how the setbacks in your life are temporary. Even though the present moment may seem permanent, there is more to be discovered here.

Since most people aren't aware that a setback will be temporary, we naturally go into panic mode and fear the unknown. On this episode, I'll share ways to navigate the highs and lows of life, and meet each setback with a willingness to learn instead of run away.

Ep 13: To Overcome Doubt, Build Faith - A moment of insight with Sheri Homayoon Myers

Have you ever struggled with self-doubt? For thousands of years people have - so if you have too, you're not alone.

On this episode, I provide a moment of insight around the topic of doubt. I share that if we want to overcome doubt, we must build our faith. I've seen this in my own life, and have found it in the gospel written thousands of years ago in verses of such as Matthew 14:29-31. Building belief in ourselves will mean taking radical responsibility for our decisions, and that's what we explore on this moment of insight today.

Ep 11: Accessing your Inner Voice - A moment of insight with Sheri Homayoon Myers

Ep 11: Accessing your Inner Voice - A moment of insight with Sheri Homayoon Myers

Have you recognized your own inner voice yet? I'll tell you what, it's not always easy to recognize your own inner voice. In fact, many people have grown up around the world listening to an entirely different voice within themselves, and that voice is usually stemming from a place of fear. On today's moment of insight, which offers a bite-sized piece of wisdom that you can apply into your life today, you'll learn more about your inner voice, and how to drown out the noise of the opinions of others. What's amazing is our inner voice rarely uses words, and communicates with us through our feelings. What's not so amazing, is when we doubt our inner voice, and tune into our voice of fear, we tend to experience anxiety, worry, and trepidation.

Have you ever tried to do something new, big, or bold, and met up with a voice in your head that told you not to? That's likely not your inner voice talking, but instead, a voice from your own fear that is trying to protect itself. As we start to break through the initial noise of our ego, we are able to experience the quiet whispers of our heart. When we feel separate from one another, life tends to become a competition and the focus is on you, how well you do, what you do, and how fast you can do it. The drive from fear is that you "be the best" no matter what it takes out of you and others, so that you can gain the attention, and love from others. I've found the very opposite happens when you shift your focus and tune into your inner voice for direction. The drive from love tells you to "honor and serve" the people around you, and that includes yourself.

Tune in to learn about your inner voice, and catch more moments of insight each week that will empower you on your journey through self-discovery.

Ep 7: Audrey Wong - Raising 8 figure businesses and global consciousness through computer science and intuitive healing

Audrey Wong is a successful business and life coach as well as an intuitive healer.

She grew up learning to nurture and grow her own abilities of extrasensory perception and intuition from her maternal grandmother who also had these abilities.  Her maternal grandfather taught her about Chinese Medicine and how to listen to our bodies to discern what foods would be beneficial. Both grandparents taught her about the power of positive thinking and our innate abilities to create our own reality, which would lay the groundwork for her ability to work consciously with the law of attraction.

After studying computer science and psychology at Rutgers University, Audrey was diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) that resulted from her childhood trauma. She received her Reiki attunement, studied shamanism, mediumship, akashic record readings, and various healing modalities that would later allow her to heal her CPTSD. Audrey worked for Accenture right out of college where she became a globally recognized professional in the management consulting world. She also went on to found multiple businesses that grossed 6-8 figures.

On this episode, you'll hear about Audrey's journey from a deeper perspective, and learn about how she personally healed her CPTSD and how she's helped thousands of others to release trauma. Audrey is now a business and life coach for others to experience their own breakthroughs the way she has, and offers akashic record readings, personal one on one coaching sessions, root trauma release coaching, and so much more.
