What have you Learned?
Hi my loves, oh my goodness we have made it to the end of the year and so much has happened. For so many this has been a salvaging/ rebuilding/ self healing/ and self reflection Year. A lot of solo time, a lot of growth, a lot of self awareness, and an overwhelmingly amount of self love & forgiveness. I’m so proud of you & I. If you take a moment to be reflective with me, what have you learned? Let’s take all we’ve learned and gained into next year!!! Just because you say you want it doesn’t mean your going to have it. Doesn’t mean that it’s time for it. Doesn’t mean that it wants or is meant for you. Remember our parents saying, “this ain’t Burger King, you can’t have it your way”. In order to truly be at peace we have to trust God completely and that is even in our desires and wants.

To Know is to Grow
How many of you have heard the advice from so many, “take some time for yourself” or “yea, you need to focus on you boo” or “you don’t need a man right now” or even better.. “learn to love yourself”. Although all of this are extremely true and it helps to definitely do these things in YOUR own time frame, how you come about them might look different from the way others deal with them. Take YOUR own specified time to learn yourself and process the way that is best for you. If you don’t acknowledge the areas that are weak and insecure how can you grow in them? Toxic relationship vs Toxic traits
Finally! We are out of that toxic relationship yass!! We did it! But now the real work begins because we still have our toxic traits attached to us. We need to do the work and explore what that toxic trait is, why we have it in the first place, and pull it up by the root and destroy it. Becoming your best self requires you to do the “Work”. It’s not always easy addressing your toxic traits but it’s extremely necessary. Take a moment to live in the moment every second of every day.

Happy New Year Everyone! If you guys have noticed we now have a new name for the podcast, She’s Me! I realized that the previous name might have kept some listeners away and made people feel like they couldn’t relate because of the possible content of the podcast. I also realized that Men would probably not be open to the information because it was woman based. I believe the new title allows everyone to participate and listen and be able to identify with something aspect of the topics, conversations, &advice discussed here. Comfortable in confusion... good ole procrastination
I find that the things that give me the most anxiety are the very things I avoid facing. I make things a lot more complicated then they really are thinking I can by pace it only to still have to cross that bring to get to my destination. Once you recognize your weakness you don’t babysit it, you identify it and make changes to eliminate it as much as possible. If gone unchanged, it can spill over into other areas of your life affecting them in more drastic ways. It’s time Procrastinating took several seats and you gained that confidence back.

Everyone goes through things.. it’s called LIFE!! Whether big or small.. traumatic or minor everyone is entitled to process and learn at their own pace and in their own way.
