Recognized for the Good

Recognized for the Good

What do you think of when you think about Moses? Some common thoughts may be …

  • He led the Israelites out of Egypt.
  • He parted the Red Sea.
  • He wrote the first five books of the Bible.
  • The Lord gave him the Ten Commandments.

Yes, we remember Moses for the great things he accomplished in his life. Moses is recognized as a man of great faith (Hebrews 11:23-29).

Moses’ testimony is so powerful, especially when you know all of it. That’s why it is so important to study the Word of God.

In this podcast, Shonda shares how one man went from a murderer to a leader of a nation. We have hope in knowing that our wrong choices, no matter how bad they may be, do not disqualify us from God's calling on our lives.

May you find hope for your future!

Adults Say the Darndest Things

Adults Say the Darndest Things

Have you watched the ABC show “Kids Say the Darndest Things”? I enjoy watching the children and especially find humor in their perception on life’s circumstances.

But in life, kids are not the only ones that speak without a filter. Often times, adults do too. More often than not, most people mean well when they share their words with us.

If we are hurting from a painful experience, someone’s words may come across as offensive. We cannot control what other people think or say., but we can control how we choose to react to it.

In this episode, learn how to properly respond to offensive comments and how my practicing these ways led to greater spiritual insight and understanding of God's truth.
