Photographer, slow down and..
In this podcast, I'll be talking about the importance of slowing down and looking around you. Many of us already have the tools to be who we want to be but we lack the ability to slow down. The desire for growth can be very overshadowing to your growth. This desire is the desire to be somewhere else you aren't (your goal and the desire to achieve it). The more I've slowed down, the more I've been very effective in utilizing my tools. Hope this helps someone find their purpose.
How to be Inspired and Grow Creatively. The True Law of Attraction and The Universe.
This podcast focuses on sensitive topics that limit the human mind. Not only will it unlock your true potential, but it will also grant you unlimited inspiration and creative growth. I'll be talking about the laws of attraction and the universe. This isn't about God, it's about the human mind. The human mind is a problem when in the absence of awareness. This awareness is greater than all, as it will change your perspective on your creative life. I will be using real-life examples to support my perspective. This podcast will teach you how to be inspired and grow creatively. This will be the true law of attraction and the universe.
Malcolm & Marie | A Genius Movie, Breaking Artistic Barriers and Rightfully, NOT FOR EVERYONE.
Herewith my thoughts on Malcolm & Marie, a movie I believe is phenomenal and exceptionally made. Yes, this is a positive review on this new Movie taking place in 1 house with 2 exceptional actors. Malcolm & Marie is definitely one of those movies you either LOVE or HATE. It's definitely not for everyone but however, it's definitely deserving an Oscar (in my opinion). Just like Euphoria, It's a perfect representation of our generation creatively and artistically. The cinematography in this movie exceptional beyond measure. If you aren't artistically inclined you will not appreciate the 1 takes, framing, teaching, and movement of the whole film. Actors, Zandeya and John are deserving of higher recognition for the performance in this movie. Through this podcast, I'll share why YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS MOVIE as well as why many will dislike it. This movie breaks so many artistic barriers that many artists in 2021 would not even dare to break. The storyline is relatable and true to our times and relationships as a whole. As a black artist, I'm extremely grateful to have watched 2 exceptional black artists perform in the worst global situation and do it exceptionally well. Malcolm and Marie is not for everyone, and that more than okay.
FujiPro400h Discontinuation Tribute & Thoughts on Canceling Fujifilm.
Herewith a new video sharing my thoughts on fuji pro400h discontinuation. This is a tribute video sharing some of the best photos I've taken with this film stock. Fuji pro400h as most of you know is one of my favorite film stocks ever created. It has the best characteristics for the work I do and for the skin tones I work with. Most times I'd pick and prefer Fuji Pro400h over Kodak Portra 400 because of the work I do. This has been sad news for the film photography community but I solely believe FujiFilm will bring back this godly film. On that note, I'll also be sharing my thoughts on what I've been hearing about canceling fuji pro400h.

Film Photography over Digital Photography?? My Thoughts 2 Years Later After Shooting Film Only.
Herewith a new podcast sharing my thoughts on digital photography after shooting film photographs for 2 years. I'm excited to share all my views on digital after primarily shooting film for 2 years. I believe that everyone feels the need to choose between one or the other when In reality they can both live together in harmony. As a new-age film photographer, I've gotten to fall in love with the results film photography has given me photographically. THere's no denying that film photography has a beautiful and distinct look but does that make film photography better than digital photography?? Digital photography also has its own major advantage over film photography such as, seeing your photos in real-time, and having endless photos to make on-demand but does that make digital photography better than film photography? In this podcast, I'll share my thoughts on this topic after using both mediums for over 2 years. Film photography over digital photography???? Enjoy!
Photographic Identity Crisis and How I Plan on Dealing With It.
In the last 6 months of my journey, I've been going through something very important to me, and I wasn't able to identify this problem until now. After diagnosing myself because I'm obviously a doctor lol, I've come to realize that I'm having an identity crisis as a photographer. I've been stuck in a mode of questioning what type of work I'd like to make because there are 2 different types of work I believe I could make. Over time I've come to realize and notice the difference between documentary photography and simple.. creating great artistic images that serve no purpose than to simply be visually appealing. As of late, I've been very inspired by various old photographers' work that do either one or the other. This identity crisis was something that's been lacking in my growth because it's truly going to shape who I am as a photographer. Over the last couple of years, trying different photographic mediums was the goal but now that I've found my mediums of choice, it's time to start creating but, what am I creating? In this podcast ill be sharing this experience and what I plan on doing to deal with this crisis now that it's been identified. I hope this podcast helps anybody that might be going through what I'm going through.
Leaving Instagram and All Social Media Until I Find "Shingie The Photographer".
I quit Instagram and all social media until I find Shingie The Photographer. As you might have guessed, I'll be sharing why I'm deciding to quit social media. I'm excited, scared, and nervous to share my thoughts on why I'll be leaving my social platforms. All through the year 2020, I've been consciously and subconsciously preparing myself for this step in my journey. It's been a blessing and a curse being on all platforms and performing well on all of them. I'm incredibly grateful to have grown drastically on all these platforms over the years and I truly do see value in them but, for my journey, I need to step away in order to find myself. Creating content is extremely important to me but understand and knowing why I create the work I create is far more important to me. Through this big change, I'd like to know who Shingie "The photographer" truly is because I create fantastic images but they are "just good photos" unfortunately. I want to pick up my camera without feeling the need to pick up my camera. I truly believe, my work will never be timeless unless I make this step. Being a photographer first before a YouTuber is extremely important to me because I do not aspire to be a YouTuber all my life as much as I aspire to be a photographer all my life. I'll explain more in the podcast, enjoy and let's start this new journey together. My Work: http://shotbyshingie.com Clothing & Presets: http://waybetterco.com
