SOS is all about talking to people who do lots of different things. Some people are artists. Some are teachers. Athletes, Musicians. Designers. The goal is to inspire people of all abilities. To explore people and topics of interest.

I think people are amazing. My focus is to demonstrate how unique we each are.
To talk about everything and with everyone is this great big neurodiverse world we live in.

Today we are going to talk to George Mercer.  For more than three decades George Mercer worked as a national park warden in Canada. He worked on both east and west coasts, the North and the Rocky Mountains.  George has worked as a Park Warden and Wildlife Specialist and I love how his experiences are interwoven into his work.  Currently working on The Rhino’s Horn, the fifth book of the  Dyed In The Green series. This amazing Canadian author is always busy busy busy.

A humanitarian at heart and a Certified Life Coach, she works with organizations like Project Autism, the Redwood Shelter and Jerkens Little Angels Home in Kenya to help make the world a better place.

SOS Sides of the Spectrum - Interview with Melanie - Episode 19 Melanie Taddeo is a passionate advocate who at the age of 21 suffered a massive stroke that left her completely paralyzed on her left side and legally blind. After years of therapy she was able to regain her independence. She went on to become the first legally blind teacher to graduate in Ontario, a certified special education teacher with over 20 years of experience in program development, fundraising, community outreach, volunteer management, and public speaking. Melanie founded Connect 4 Life and Voices 4 Ability based on her personal experience of the lack of programs for people with disabilities that promote independence. Activities or events may be cancelled to keep people safe and healthy. You may get upset or frustrated about not being able to do the things you normally do.
