Social Distancing - Sides of the Spectrum Ep. 4 What is Social Distancing? Social distancing means staying away from busy places like malls, movie theatres or airplanes. Activities or events may be cancelled to keep people safe and healthy. You may get upset or frustrated about not being able to do the things you normally do. But understanding why we practice social distancing will help keep everyone safe and healthy. For many of us, it means a change to our routine which is not always easy. I interview Bill over the phone and ask him how he's adjusting to the social isolation and we discuss what works and doesn't work for many in our community.
