Sigmund FraudFeb 21, 2022
Jack Kleenex with Christopher Drespel
Jack Kleenex is a man stuck in a time loop reliving the same day over and over again. But is it a time loop or is it Hell to have to see such a Sigmund Fraud of a therapist as Ian Herrin over and over and over again?? Is this the timeline where Ian is perhaps the dumbest and least helpful? It certainly feels like it! Who cares if your loop will end and your day will start over if you don't go see Ian, Jack, still DON'T GO!!!
Ah, now you must be smart enough to escape a time loop because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about how wonderful of an author, improviser, and teacher Christopher Drespel is!! If you ever can find Christopher Drespel content near you, you gotta treat yourself to the wonders of his mind!!!
Amir Baba Rahim Khan Ali Taheri Hassan with Fawad Siddiqui
Afghan translator and American hero Amir Baba Rahim Khan Ali Taheri Hassan is still struggling to obtain citizenship. And certainly in this gig economy, Amir could benefit from a good therapist! Unfortunately, Amir goes to that real Sigmund Fraud Ian Herrin instead. And would you believe once again, Ian behaves inappropriately? I mean, how many times does this guy need to be an overly sexualized goofball before people realize he's a hack?? Get out of there, Amir! You deserve better!!

Gertrude Gertrude with Sam Evans
Gertrude Gertrude is a celebrity dog walker struggling with stress in her life. But if there was ever a therapist that would add to stress, it's got to be that Sigmund Fraud of a shrink Ian Herrin. Perhaps not all problems require quick, creative solutions? And Ian definitely doesn't have his plane analogies down. Get out of their, Gertrude! Don't let him charge you a 15x rate!!
Ah, now you have all the power of the Hook, because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the tremendously talented actor, improviser, and teacher Sam Evans. You can follow Sam on Instagram @saaamevans
John Divakopoulos with Jon Dimakopoulos
Cancer researcher and first time pot smoker John Divakopoulos catches a ride into the office space this week to have that terrible Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin serve as a spiritual guide for his first marijuana experience. And wouldn't you know, instead of being helpful, Ian mostly just wants to talk about the Spiderman video game?? Weed shouldn't cause this many mood swings, John! You're having a bad trip because Ian is bad at his job and not the weed! Don't get the wrong takeaway message from Of Mice and Men!!

Kara (Tara) Leroy with Ellen Matthews
Tara Leroy is struggling with her assertiveness when standing up to other people, so much so that her boss still thinks her name is "Kara", which it isn't and never has been. And wouldn't you know, the office stray dog seems to be even more of a helpful resource than Ian in actually helping her make tangible steps towards achieving her goals. Real strength comes from within, Tara! Believe in yourself and not a stoolie informant to the police and parents like Ian! You don't actually need to go to med school to become assertive!!

Alan Thomas with Chris McDonald
Nepograndbaby Alan Thomas has a terrible diet and misguided career goals. And wouldn't you know, by visiting a real Sigmund Fraud of a therapist like Ian Herrin, he's only more likely to become a more violent danger that the government feels the need to keep an eye on. Some food items just don't mix well together! And not all TV stars are nice people you'd want to be friends with like their characters!
Ah, you must have a card that gets you all of your favorite things, because you've found the best part of the episode description! Terry Bathwater with Marshall Stratton
NBA conspiracy theorist Terry Bathwater wants to blame Adam Silver for everything. And by going to a non-professional amateur hour poor excuse for a therapist like the Sigmund Fraud Ian Herrin, he's likely not going to break his bad habits anytime soon. Is this even a therapy session or just an extended conversation about Memphis and barbecue??? Sounds like both these boys need to calm down and maybe not watch basketball if it's going to upset them so much. Plus, why did Ian pull out a calculator and start doing math?? Like, no patient ever wants to forcibly fall asleep because math is happening, but apparently Ian didn't get the memo.
Ah, now you must be a refined bbq connoisseur that would never go to Corky's, because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the wonderful improviser, writer, and comedian Marshall Stratton! Be sure you follow Marshall @marshallstratto and check him out in the new year playing with @improvwoodstock. Oh and GO GRIZZ!!
Chair-rison Ford with NIc Rockwell
Chair-rison Ford is a talking chair that bears no relation to Harrison Ford. Wait, what?? What is happening??? Is Ian on drugs??? How is this not explained???? Ian's so checked out from sports it's like this freaky magical realism doesn't even phase him! He just gives more terrible advice and aggressively turns the session sexual as always! Get out of their, Chair-rison! You deserve to be an inside chair if you wanna be!!

Get out of there, Sue, Ian's even worse than the Count!!

John Kramer with Aaron Shelton
The sick and twisted mind of the Saw documentary series John Kramer should be seeking therapy to help curb his psychopathic games. By instead seeking insight from a real Sigmund Fraud of a therapist like Ian Herrin, John seemingly walks away from this session with more evil scenarios and targets than ever before. Trigger warning if you are a celebrity or politician that chooses to listen to this!

Bryce (Hunt) with Adrian "Frimmy" Frimpong
Bryce is a middle manger at a start-up who has a last name, but as his chosen family is two accountants, he doesn't always share it freely. Clearly Bryce would have a lot to discuss with a real therapist, but instead by choosing to see a Sigmund Fraud like Ian Herrin, Bryce seems condemned to a life of constantly questioning if he's good enough or has any real friends. Keep talking to that person who could be your new commuting buddy, Bryce! And maybe find a bit more work life balance so that COAs, APIs, users, and all that junky tech startup stuff become but a distant memory of who he used to be, how he used to be, when he used to be that person, where that person used to be......
Ah, now you must be management material, because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the wonderful improviser and comedian Adrian "Frimmy" Frimpong! Be sure you follow Frimmy on Insta @frimmydotcom and also his show @the100percentshow

P.S. Most of the folks we talk about not being on house teams six years ago eventually made it onto house teams! Hooray!! Remember that auditions are not fair ways to evaluate improvisers, all casting is arbitrarily based on who you already know, and that the real reason to do this stuff is the love of the game and no AD should ever decide your worth for you. Stay kind to each other out there as yet another audition season at UCB comes to a close!
Henry Edwards with James Quesada
Regional manager of a Bed, Bath, and Beyond Henry Edwards has had it up to here with his ungrateful employees. But rather than examining whether or not he might be the problem, don't you know that selfish Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin is immediately ready to blame Henry's employees and let the boss off the hook. And wouldn't you know the conversation turns to plotting violence again awful quick??

Bingey St. Darlin' has a very unique dating life that up until this point has been successfully kept a secret. Be very careful of whom you take home from a dance club late at night! You never know who her mother might be!

Richard Drummond with Cameron Lindsey
Private Investigator Richard Drummond has yet another case he just can't seem to crack, and a gruesome, complicated one at that. But why on Earth would such a grizzled ex-cop ever think such a Sigmund Fraud of a therapist like Ian Herrin would ever be able to help?? Does Ian reach for some conclusions? Sure. Emphasis on reach. And just because you've found a conclusion doesn't mean it's the right one. Don't trust him, Drummond! Follow your own instincts and chase your own clues!!

No one wants to see you sleep with the fishes, Clark; get out of there and get real help!!

Miranda Cross with Alexandra Spieth
Filmmaker Miranda Cross and her crew have a secret long since forgotten at the Holiday Inn Express, but clearly it still weighs heavily on her mind. But with a no good Sigmund Fraud of a therapist like Ian Herrin on her case, Miranda seems like she's going to lean into some bad behaviors at Ian's behest. There are certain sins that are worth breaching therapist-patient confidentiality over and this most certainly should qualify!

Pickles Johannesberg with April Sickler
Eccentric rich man Pickles Johannesberg is up to so many nefarious undertakings it's truly tricky to keep track of all the mischief afoot. And Ian Herrin is such a terrible Sigmund Fraud of a therapist he seems to act more as Pickles' accomplice than a guardian of mental health should. Children deserve to know who their father is and some Jimmy's deserve hats. And even if Pickles is a little Wario like, he probably doesn't want to hear it from someone he's trusting in a therapy setting. If you or a loved one encounter Pickles in the wild, run away before he dandelions!!

If HR doesn't get along with you, perhaps going to war isn't the best idea! And no matter what you do, NEVER make your role model a friggin' DJ!!!

Frankie Cruz with Xave Padin
Frankie is a slightly susceptible guy just checking in from his tour in New Orleans to talk about his indigestion, but something more sinister seems to be going on. And I'm pretty sure Ian stole at least $10 from you!!

Matsuyama with Jon Lu
Matsuyama is a samurai who deliberately curbs his sexual desires in order to access his full and often violent powers. But if he thinks that Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin is gonna do anything productive to help him think about sex less, he is quite literally sorely mistaken! Not to mention I'm not even sure if Ian has a baseline understanding of the male reproductive system? What would your chat friend Batman say, Matsuyama?? Get out of there and don't give up your powers!!!

Tykel Phelps with Ryan Barker
Tykel Phelps has a very particular job that's become increasingly stressful, but it's a very babyish decision at best to think seeing the Sigmund Fraud of a therapist known as Ian Herrin would help with anything! No no, instead Ian this week seems keen to play his body as a musical instrument, miss out on some basic observations about his new client, and reaches to assume Tykel has several celebrity relatives based on flimsy evidence at best. Get out of their, Tykel, before Ian has you start crying for real and not just for work!
Ah, now you must know all the good words because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the fantastically funny Ryan Barker! Fritz Von Trap with Will Jacobs
A young nubile time traveling German boy like Fritz Von Trap deserves better therapy than that Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin is capable of giving. What could've been a delicate conversation about blooming male sexuality instead quickly becomes about porn and butt plugs. Fritz, think of Ian as the Wig Man in the Wig Shack and STAY AWAY!!!

MTA officer Mike Costanotzo suffered an "incident" that he's not all too fond of bringing up right away despite his captain's recommendation he go to therapy three or four times. But it's an endless feedback loop of trouble when a problematic officer like Mike meets up with a problematic therapist like that Sigmund Fraud Ian Herrin. Ian, therapy isn't like lawyers, you can actually call out some of this bad behavior if you think it's in the interest of public safety! Perhaps Mike shouldn't have the power to wield all the weapons he claims to have a right to have! And for God's sake, stop engaging him in sports talk as it's a clear distraction from his cop crimes!!
Ah, you're smart enough to never jump the turnstile, because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the wonderful improviser, writer, and comedian Alexis Pereira. Be sure you follow Alexis on Instagram @mralexispereira and check out Hamster & Grettel on Disney +!
Harold Pike with Wander Boesjes
Poor Harold Pike seems like he struggles in relationships. More importantly, he truly believes that he has just pissed off a bunch of Greek Gods by being so irresistibly sexy that he incidentally seduced many of them without considering how the others might get jealous. But would a flunking Latin student like the Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin is really be the right fit to help Harold out? Or is this session yet another excuse for Ian to be manipulative and talk about sex in as crass a manner as he possibly can? Don't listen to him, Harold!! The bus is a really convenient way to get around and you seem like a nice man that doesn't need to get involved in Ian's web of lies!!!!

John Wick with Donald Chang
John Wick oddly seems like he's doing surprisingly well under the guidance of that terrible Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin, but with show anxiety in the air, Ian finally seems like he's ready to reverse all of John's progress in one day. Lean in to your inner David Attenborough, John! That's the best side of you! Some improvisers can do sketch and some sketch performers can do improv and switching between the two is okay and even healthy sometimes! Don't let Ian coax you back into a life of violence no matter how cool or fun to watch it may seem!!

Oopsie Poopsie the Nightmare Clown with Nick Pearl
This can't be real?? A Nightmare Clown that embodies the fears of children?!? A literal friggin' demon!?! Well it certainly doesn't have a chance of getting its existence back on track if it's going to Ian Herrin for therapy! That's the one demon even darker and scarier than it is!! Not everyone is cut out to be a Toxic Avenger! For goodness sake, these two are even struggling to remember basic superhero names! Although Oopsie Poopsie does have some impressive Hancock knowledge oddly enough...

A.I. come to life in the fraternity bro formerly known as Chad and younger brother of Chat, Chad GPT has a number on eccentric insecurities perhaps a real therapist could help him with if only he would stop getting cease and desists. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't send out a cease and desist of your own when you meet a therapist as awful as that Sigmund Fraud Ian Herrin! Ian yet again is obsessed with details, pop culture, and sex in a way that will likely never help Chad GPT to retain more information and improve its life. Plus, why do these two seem like they secretly just wanna talk about Memphis the whole time?? Talking about a city isn't therapy!!!

Fabio Fontanelli is a gonzo journalist that seemingly gets a little too deep into his undercover work. But with the terrible Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin, will Fabio ever be able to understand that his footprint often detracts from the objectivity of the story he's trying to tell? Likely not, especially if Fabio insists on talking about his dreams and parents the whole time. Is the familial warfare between two competing ice cream truck syndicates in New York City really all that interesting of a story anyways??

Instead would you believe Ian somehow steers the conversation towards his collegiate rivalry? And what about Jean's mysterious relationship with her celebrity father?? How's Jean ever supposed to get to the bottom of what's really going on with her if all Ian does is make her do tricks during meditation???
Ah, you must be one of those big shots that flies around to LA, LA, and LA, cause you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the comedian, improviser, and cartoonist Audrey Garrett!! Be sure you check out https://www.cartoonsbyaudreyalice.com/ and follow Audrey on Insta @aujjdraws
Jazz Swelltet with Brian Morabito
Jazz Swelltet is a psychopathic rage filled murdering stepfather with a Denim obsession from Rhode Island. But does the Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin hold Jazz accountable for any murdering at all? No. Of course he doesn't. Instead he's once again laser focused on his own romantic interests and references to Broadway musicals. And what Ms. Swelltet is doing behind and in front of Jazz's back is truly obscene, even for a private therapeutic consultation. If only they had spoken more in Scottish accents so we wouldn't have to understand the dumb dumb things that they say!

The part where I get to tell you all about the phenomenally talented actor and improviser Brian Morabito! Andy Spector isn't looking for therapy as much as he's looking for a good hang. But that's not what therapy's for! Although to Andy's credit, when your therapist is that Sigmund Fraud Ian Herrin, it make sense that one might perceive Ian as more of a friend than a therapeutic mental health professional. Drinking in therapy is NOT APPROPRIATE. Everyone gets drunk even if they say they don't! And for the love of all things holy, let us all pray that Ian never meets Andy's cat CJ irl...
Crack open a beer, friend, cause you just found the best part of the episode description! Gary Whiel with Owen Engesser
Gary Whiel is a happy go lucky wanderlust spirit still grieving the end of his celebrity relationship. But if there's one therapist on Earth bad at processing breakups, it's gotta be the most fruadest therapist there is, Ian Herrin. You know you can't open up about one of your traumas from a past college experience Gary, because Ian will never let you stop unpacking every disgusting detail! Also, your last name is lovely and spelled appropriately despite what Ian says! Call me crazy, but I'd even go as far as to say maybe drones shouldn't be used in mental health settings??

Lady Ruth Brookwillow with Florence Friebe
Lady Ruth Brookwillow insists on being called Brooke despite that not at all being her name. But at least she GETS IT and puts her absolutely terrible therapist Ian Herrin in his place immediately and repeatedly. Brooke doesn't have grief! She's merely the distinguished heiress to a French butter fortune ordered to therapy by her team of lawyers after her husband accidentally Humpty Dumpty-ied himself. Although would you believe this is yet another session working more on Ian than Ian's patient?? Believe it, and it's horrifying as per usu.
Ah, I've tricked you into finding the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to brag about the wonderful comedian, writer, singer, improviser, and actor Florence Friebe!! Tullamore Dew with John Shepard
Poor poor Tannery Brooke must have been too busy gallivanting off at a pub somewhere to remember his therapy appointment with the worst therapist in the world, Ian Herrin, but instead, a very insane man from the future that shares his name with a whiskey, Tullamore Dew storms into the office proclaiming only he can save humanity. Why are human beings forced underground and what has happened to the Earth under it's bizarre new leadership? Even if Tullamore does know he's unlikely to share his secrets with someone as historically challenged and, quite frankly, violent and stupid as Ian. Two idiots who deserve each other. Their animosity is... almost... sweet?

Chet Wonder finds himself trapped in a deep LARP life under siege by orcs. But with a Sigmund Fraud like Ian Herrin as his therapist, Chet is doomed to never be able to reach his full potential and value his community of friends with similar interests. Ian is actively breaching ethics by talking to your parents so much, Chet! Also, I think you should stop buying self-help books especially ones that are marketing unrelated expensive skin care products!!

Don't let the fact that Ian is a single, jealous, bitter ex-friend to Selena Gomez interfere with your opportunity to have community with everyone everywhere in the world all the time!

Non-traditional college student Han Solo Cup is a 30 year old smuggler pledging fraternities for the first time. His current options include the geeky, freaky Rebel Alliance and the rich, fascist Empire. Both throw raging parties, so Han is very confused. So he decides to seek out a Creative Thinking Office Renter in the swamps of New York City for "non-traditional" therapy. But is this former UCB guy Ian Herrin's therapy more Sigmund Fraud than Sigmund Freud? (Yes. It always is. He sucks at his job and needs to be stopped.)
Ah, the Force must be strong within you, because you've found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the tremendously talented comedian and improviser Dani Grace! Be sure you follow Dani on Instagram @daniwearspants
Ben Sisko with Vince White
Oh no, another actor who can't differentiate reality from the television show he works on?? And one that is friends with Sir Patrick Stewart no less??? BEN (or whatever your real name is!)! Get out of there!! Ian is not the guy to ground anybody in any kind of reality! Remember New Orleans! Remember Rutgers! Remember Rob Kardashian's vehicle!!
Ah, you could get used to this! And by "this" I mean the best part of the episode description where I tell you all about the phenomenally talented improviser and podcaster Vince White! Big Chillin' with Sam Naismith
Born "God", Big Chillin' is perhaps the biggest example of psychopathy to ever enter the office space of the truly terrible therapist Ian Herrin. But what else could you possibly expect from someone whose most neutral and least chaotic friend is an actor known for his brain injury. Big Chillin' purports to be making a major life decision between choosing the path of Catholic religious righteousness and the downward Hell spiral of video games, but it does seem that he made his choice to pursue the devil a long, long time ago. Maybe if Big Chillin's dads had been more honest with him about their lifestyle, that level of open communication could have helped him to grow, but instead, Chillin' found Ian, and so now these two insanely offensive wackadoos won't accomplish much of anything besides offending anyone within their earshot.
Daaaaaamn, you're sexy, and the reason I know is because you found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the tremendously wildly funny improviser, comedian, and actor Sam Naismith! Be sure you follow Sam and his Wisecracker podcast on Instagram @drsamnaismith & @wisecrackerpod. Sam additionally performs monthly with the sketch team Redacted at the Pack Theater in LA. Also check out Sam's website designed to torture individuals with epilepsy https://www.samnaismith.com/
Rebecca Sherman with Adaire Kamen
Yikes! Dolls! Uh-uh, too scary!! Rebecca Sherman, you seem like you have a lot you're not processing, you got too many dolls, and Ian is not gonna be the right therapist for you to figure this all out. If anything, he's been a little pyro recently, so keep you and your dolls' eyes on him. Anna, you seem like a very nice young baby lady. Christina, you're a bit of a party animal, but I dig your vibes. Samantha... just don't hurt me!!
Congratulations on pushing through the Valley of the Dolls to find the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the wonderful comedian and playwright Adaire Kamen! Be sure you follow Adaire on Instagram @adairekamen and on Twitter @TruthAdaire
Joseph Jacob with Jake Joseph
Child leash enthusiast Joseph Jacob seems to be aware at least on some levels that that Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin is a problematic, sexually deviant manipulator. And yet, it is almost like Joseph wants to become Ian's prodigy and learn his ways? I mean, I guess it makes sense that a guy who wants to leash children for "safety" and to ultimately give them more "freedom" would want to learn how to manipulate his friends better, but still, in the long run, working with Ian will only damage your psyche and ruin your soul! DO NOT PLAY his REINDEER GAMES!!!
Pop 'n' Loch Ness Monster with Nic Rockwell
Woa Nessy!!! The mythical Loch Ness Monster is real??? And obsessed with a very particular form of hip-hop dancing?!?!? Nessy, I know it must be lonely, but trust me this Ian Herrin guy is not going to be the one to help replace the hole in your heart Left Behind by your brother! Don't trust any painful tea he might offer! You deserve to look yourself in the mirror and not be reminded of a former child star whose last name is synonymous with monster!
David Halsburg with Sean Mako
The military has requested a psychological evaluation for their naval officer David Halsburg, clearly a man that has had to endure a lot during his time in the service. David is a man frozen in time never quite able to progress himself into modern society post 2001. And yet, with the aggressive stupidity of a therapist like Ian Herrin, there's almost no hope whatsoever for David to unpack his traumatic experience. Does Ian steer yet another session aggressively towards talking about his patient's sex life? Well of course he does! Get out of there, David!! Use your new found freedom to actually work on yourself so you can get back to your now adult daughter!!!
Damon Douglas with Sean O'Reilly
Poor little Damon Douglas just wants to be a good boy for the people in his life but seems to be suffering deep forms of anxiety and codependency. You'd think a helpless little guy like Damon would be helped and treated by his therapist, but somehow Ian Fucking-Sigmund-Fraud Herrin inserts himself and his issues YET AGAIN into another session and appears Hell bent on using Damon like a piece of hay to get anything and everything he wants. You need to be working on your independence away from Ian and your wife Lianne, Damon! You can't metaphorically sit on your hands forever! Also, your smoking problem seems secondary and if you had real support systems in your life, kicking that dirty habit would likely be a breeze!
Bishop Elijiah K. Stone with Andrew Chandler
You would *think* a Man of God would be able to see through and maybe even call out the shame therapy that goes on in this Sigmund Fraud's office, but apparently this thirst trap of a Tik Tok social media televangelist, Bishop Elijiah K. Stone of Alabama, is too focused on expanding his brand to the youth culture to notice! Careful, Bishop Stone, or Ian will get you hooked on pre-martial sex and drugs! Do not help him work out his tight five for standup and do not offer him your healing hands! Definitely also a major red flag if he requires any court documents shredded with no further follow-up or explanation!!
Woa, you must be one of those in the Hella cool crowd, cause you found the best part of the episode description! The part where I get to tell you all about the wonderful improviser Andrew Chandler and his indie team Emails from Hawaii! Be sure you follow Andrew on Instagram @orthodoxdrew
Edward Chapinsky with Brian Gurien
Oh poor skater burnout dad, Ed! You really haven't had a lot of loving women in your life, have you? And you seem to be fully neglecting your two boys! Maybe your talent level at skating isn't good enough to justify your hobby? Of course, I could say the same about that Sigmund Fraud Ian Herrin and his little "therapy" hobby he's so obsessed with! All he does is talk about improv and commandeer the therapy to be about him, AGAIN! He brings up illicit drugs and sexual activity, AGAIN! Don't listen to this filth, moms of the world!!!
Ah, you must be cultured enough to know the name Steve Coogan because you've found the best part of the episode description! Well then let me now tell you of a name worth of the same recognition as Stevey Coogs, it's the one and only brilliant returning guest Brian Gurien! Be sure you check out Brian on Instagram @briangurien and over at briangurien.com
Mallory Von Blockbuster with Murphy Baker
Heir to the Blockbuster franchise Mallory Von Blockbuster may have squandered away all of her family's money, but I'll be damned if that Sigmund Fraud of a therapist Ian Herrin will have anything productive to say to help her realize such a thing! It's much more likely Ian will instead brag about taking Latin in high school out of nowhere or want to play around with his prop microphone. Normally I'd tell you not to be so violent with therapists, Mallory, but in this case, let him have it!! Right in the craw!!!!
